“This spot is doing Chinese and Japanese cuisine, and I tried to try a bit of both to see what it was all about. The owner was very friendly, and was the one making the sushi. The sushi was interesting, the California Roll was simple, basic, however the rice was definitely a bit more on the mushy side, over cooked for sure. The Spider Roll was very different that what I'm used to as it had a large Romaine Lettuce leaf incorporated into the roll. I always like to try new things, but not sure if it worked...The Chicken Corn Soup w/ the crispy Wontons and Sweet & Sour Sauce were exceptionally delicious.I also ordered Chicken in Garlic Sauce from the Lunch Special Menu, and requested it to be a bit spicier. Oh that was yummy, as I loved their house Chili Oil as well.“
“I went in to an empty restaurant (no customers) and don't understand why. First time here and the food was absolutely amazing!! Cheaper than most and more food. The nice gentleman even brought the food to me from behind the counter, even though I ordered to go. Will definitely be back!“
“I first visited i ❤️ teriyaki the day they opened. Found them by accident that day. I have been coming back ever since. The food is excellent, large portions, and the owner john is very nice. My daughters, who are all grown up now, ask to go here when they are in town. So i recommend this establishment wholeheartedly.“
“Stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon and there were not many customers inside the food hall (usually the Food Block like this in Annandale is packed). It was nice to have time to look at all the food places and the menus. We decided on Japomen and ordered the Bulgogi bowl and the Tonkatsu ramen. It was delicious and was prepared pretty quickly even though they were probably over the lunch rush and resting before the dinner rush. I wish I had more room to try all their onigiris but that will have to wait until next time. Parking was very easy in the parking lot (free), and plenty of seating inside which was clean. I can't wait to come back and try more off their menu.“
“I love this place! Customer service is so excellent and very friendly! One of my favorite restaurant to dine-in/out with. I highly recommend this restaurant, the food is so fresh and delicious, you will not be disappointed. Thank you to all the staff and owner for always being so amazing and wonderful, I truly love your hospitality. ❤️❤️❤️From, your SHUMAI customer.“
“One of the best places to have lunch if you work in Quantico. Had lunch here recently. Ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bento box and for $11.95 , you get soup, salad, rice, chicken, veggie tempura, 4 rolls of California rolls. Now that’s one amazing deal and it was good food indeed. Thank you.“
“If you want to get a decent lunch and not spend a fortune and don't have a lot of time, this was good. The restaurant is very casual and there is little in the way of ambiance. Takeout is a good option. The restaurant seems to be a mom and pop operation and the service was friendly but it is counter service only.“
“It was a few years since I had been here. They did not disappoint. We all enjoyed our entrees, and the service was excellent. A return visit is in my future plans.Parking: There is a parking lot with plenty of parking. Also, handicap parking.“
“Hibachi is great but that’s not the real gem here! Must try their happy hour 3pm - 7pm daily! Amazing sushi selections and such a bargain. Everything so was fresh and fast! The volcano bowl did not disappoint and their other assortments of cocktails are amazing as well. If you’re a sushi lover (raw or cooked) definitely stop in for happy hour and try everything at least onceKid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and will enjoy the atmosphere as well“
“The food is super fresh and delicious. I ordered on phone and went to pick it up. The chicken lo mein is to die for, it’s full of flavor and is enough for one person. The orange chicken is also good but not as flavorful as lo mein. I’m planning to go back and try more items in future. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a good halal Chinese food in Woodbridge area.“
“The location is good, and the chicken teriyaki is fantastic. My only complaint is that when they first opened, the chicken portions were larger, and now they have decreased, and they put all this rice on your plate to fill up space. Parking is always very tight, so bring your patience. Pricing is alright but to little chicken and too much rice and one yum yum sauce.“
“Can’t speak to the dine-in experience but sushi is very good. I’d say best sushi take out place in Lake Ridge area. They were backed up one time and food took longer than usual to be ready but food quality was on point. The menu has a lot of sushi variety as well.“
“Lovely little place tucked away in a strip mall. We were on our way back to Reagan airport but didn't want to lunch in DC proper. We looked up some Japanese places and this one piqued our interest. Great sushi and lunch specials. We enjoyed our visit!“
“We go here for any excuse. Food is always excellent and there is so much of it. The chefs are so fun and the kids love it.I also like to just sit at the sushi bar as well, the caterpillar roll is especially amazing.Kid-friendliness: The chefs are so nice with the kids and the staff is great with them as well.“
“Took my wife to dinner here, loved the steak roll, red sox roll, and volcano roll. The sushi here is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the ambience is awesome. I also appreciate that the servers give you some space and only check in periodically so you can enjoy your meal without a bunch of interruptions. This will definitely be where we go anytime we want sushi from now on!“
