“This is typical dim sum style with food on the carts. Excellent and delicious dim sum. The big dining room is loud and crowded but I think it makes it more festive and enjoyable. We had a table of four and sat right in the middle of the room. Only down side is if you want to order tea or off the menu, sometimes it can be hard to track down an available server.“
“We've been coming here for many, many years. We always get the wonton noodle soup. When my fiancee was sick, the congee here really hit the spot. It's a nice hole in the wall for authentic cantonese/chinese. Don't come here looking for general tsos. We absolutely love this place. Hope they have a happy year of the dragon and many more to come!“
“To celebrate our 5th anniversary, my Asian wife and I decided to indulge in authentic Asian cuisine at a highly recommended restaurant. For starters, we savored the Crab Meat Asparagus Soup, which left us impressed with its delightful flavors. Moving on to the Fried Lobster, my wife enjoyed it immensely while I savored a cautious bite due to its high cholesterol content. Additionally, the Squid with Sea Salt was a standout dish, perfectly seasoned and thoroughly enjoyable. Overall, our experience was outstanding, leaving us with nothing but praise for the delicious offerings.“
“Dim sum is brought out from the kitchen rather than served from steam carts going around the restaurant. As for the taste and quality, they depend on what item you order. I liked the bean curd roll and the shrimp stuffed tofu but the fried chive dumplings were gummy. Prices start at $5.25 per order and go up to over $10. The service was pleasant but weekends are extremely busy here.“

“How have I forgotten to write a review for Sichuan Pavilion??? It is my absolute go-to in DC for mapo tofu. I don't get Chinese takeout often, but of the handful of places I've tried, this one tops them all. My partner is a fan of their Eggplant with garlic sauce and their vegetable lo mein. I'm not going to describe any of these in further detail because they're all so universal, if you've had a good version, you know, and they're all good versions here. Extremely generous portions, including of the complimentary white rice, and the service is quick and very courteous. Being near Farragut Square makes it super convenient to get to, too.“
“I had an absolutely delightful experience at Han Palace. Nestled in a cozy corner, the restaurant boasts a small parking lot, yet its interior is surprisingly big, adorned with charming decorations that create a welcoming ambiance. We got the crystal shrimp dumplings, a true standout and personal favorite. Each delicate bite burst with flavor, leaving me craving more. Additionally, the rice noodles and pan-fried turnip cake were equally impressive, offering a delightful combination of textures and tastes. What truly impressed me was the swiftness with which each dish arrived at our table, piping hot and brimming with freshness. It was evident that the kitchen operated with precision and care, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Moreover, the attentive service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal, as our server was courteous and accommodating throughout. Overall, my visit to Han Palace left a lasting impression, and I look forward to returning to explore more of their delectable offerings in the future.“
“I give this place a 6.5/10! It was super busy, but surprisingly, we got seated after a 5 min wait (we only had two people though). But, my rating stands cause even though the food tasted great, it was slightly oily and some of the foods were cold and not even warm, so that kinda killed it for me ? Nonetheless, service was quick and they do the carts!!“
