“Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday to celebrate our anniversary. The owner greeted us and chatted with us a for a while. Most tables were reserved for an event that afternoon, but when we told her we could be out before then, she seated us and brought out the menus. We ordered using the QR code on the menus, as that was the only option. I will say, that was the only thing I didn't like. I have having to use my phone for everything and wished I could've ordered in person and paid in person. And then the tip part was unclear and it chose the tip for us (18%). That felt kinda weird...what if I wanted to leave more? But that feels like the same complaint, having to order on my phone.Anyway, besides those 2 things, everything else was amazing. The food was fresh, tasty, and was brought out in a reasonable amount of time. The waiter was quick to bring out water and refills. Dina was sweet and chatted with us just the right amount. We ordered the 3 plate appetizer baba ghanoush, grape leaves, and fava beans. They were all good, but the fava beans were extraordinary. We also got the Susu's chicken plate. It was also delicious...and the best part of that plate was the amazing tomato sauce.I can't recommend this place enough and we will surely be back!“
“HOLY ****! Hands down some of the best food I've ever eaten.. I've never had dolmas or baba ganoush with that level of flavor. Anyone would enjoy the veggie sample platter. The spices used were not spicy, but packed full of flavor. I'd eat here everyday if I could. If you don't go here, you're truly missing out. Also LOVE the atmosphere, both inside and out. <3Vegetarian options: The falafel was some of the best I've had. Warm dark green center, with a crispy outside. “When I first came to Shah’s, I did not know if it would be better than the competition. After taking my first bite, I instantly knew, that shahs halal was the greatest things Allah has ever created. Easily the greatest chicken and lamb platter I have ever had in my life. The greatest.“
“Just tried this restaurant for the first time. I only had a chicken Fettouch salad, and it was possibly one of the best I have had. The vegetables were very fresh and the dressing was possibly the best I have had. It had a very subtle taste of what seemed to be pomegranate in it. The chicken pieces were very nicely flavored as well. The price was in line with most fast casual Middle Eastern eateries. Will be coming back to try the rest of their menu. The service was very nice as well.“
“We got our food to go since the place is on the small side but the food did not disappoint. The sopes were delicious and the torta chingona was amazing. The torta can definitely Can be shared with another person since it’s on the big side (I think it was obvious from the name) I’ll definitely return!“
