“I was looking forward to going to Poppy’s Place, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere and employees were very welcoming. I enjoyed the Reuben, and an incredibly delicious cookie—key lime. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other dishes.“

“We loved the food and service here! Portion size is very generous for a great price! My only suggestion is to do something about the bathroom situation. There is only one bathroom for the entire restaurant to share (patrons and employees) and the line can become very long.“

I would call it a thin crust Chicago tavern style. As you can see with pics I am a regular ...my go to? Try a large all the way with pineapples and pizzaz sauce. Their wings and subs dont slack. “Excellent bar in the centre of town. Friendly staff, special shout out to Alison who was super helpful to us throughout the evening. Reasonably priced beer and food. Pool tables, games and activities for all the family. Or just sit and enjoy yourselves while being surrounded by a plethera of TV screens that cater for all tastes.Parking available on street and also on plentiful car parks to the rear and a short walk away.“

“Went twice one in the evening for cocktails and once in the morning for coffee/breakfast. We had espresso martinis in the evening which were amazing the bar tender was great and the entire vibe of the place is chill. In the morning our service was great the ambiance was still good I think the only real issue is that they only had one barista working, who had to take orders and make both the food and drinks which take time, understandably so. I think they would benefit with having one or two more people work in the mornings at least during peak hours.“

“Depending on when you go and whose cooking the food can be pretty delicious. I don't recommend going during the early hours. The owner frank is a nice guy face to face but I have heard and seen him say bad things about customers. So it's best to just order pick-up or delivery and don't dine in.“

“Service is absolutely amazing. Friendly servers. Polite and your drink never ran out we had pizza wings and fries with all kinds of cheese all over it The pizza was absolutely amazing. It's very delicious. The wings were barbecue. They had a crispy outside sticky as all get out and messy. Absolutely wonderful! And the fries were delicious too. Couldn't ask for anything more from a pizza place. I would recommend this place to anybody who is passing through“
