“This is the place to be in Front Royal! The rotating in-house brewed beers are flavorful, and are just one of the reasons we come back here week after week. The food is delicious, we highly recommended the burgers and the cheesecake. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming, especially Maddie, and they know their stuff. Vibrissa is worth the drive to come and check this place out.“

“What an amazing experience! We love how it was encouraged to try different flavors, and if you asked for vanilla or chocolate the rule was ‘you had to try at least 3 flavors first’. All 3 were very welcoming and personable, in lieu of us being a large group. We also had a very nice conversation with the owner and enjoyed hearing on how he gives back to the community, wishing we could be here for the crawfish festival on Mother’s Day weekend! “I came here today for the first time with my husband. As soon as you walk in you can smell the sweet baked goods in the air ?. The owners are lovely and friendly. Everything looked so delicious ?. I was even surprised they had baked goods made with Tim Smith's moonshine. I love watching Moonshiners and of course had to get the Apple Blossom Moonshine cake. We walked out of there with a bag full of goodies. The Joe Tea Mango flavor was a great suggestion from the owners. My husband loved the iced tea far better than any other brand he's tried. “First timer here. After hearing many glowing remarks about the Apple cider donuts at this establishment, I made the 1.5 hour drive out to Linden, VA. Walking in, it reminded me of your classic general store on steroids. There was a little bit of everything from signs with cute sayings to a variety of hard ciders from across the state. There are two areas where you can order food. Head to the right where it is less crowded and sit at the bar. I went with the staff's suggestion and ordered the Grilled Cheese sandwich with Brie, bacon & apricot jam with a balsamic glaze that came with French fries. That bacon jam was so good that I ended up walking away with two jars. The apple donuts lived up to the glowing reviews and I could see why people make the drive for these treats.“

The service is beyond great, everyone is so nice, welcoming and shares their own recommendations which means you know it's good if a person works there and can still recommend haha. They also have the fastest tap service. Literally you will order a beer and it's like your server does a spin and boom! Beer on your table. In addition to the great service the food is AMAZING. My personal favorite is the chicken cordon bleu sandwich, my husband likes the George Washington. Definitely recommend!“

Some of the food like funnel cakes and sliders are very greasy.The food here is kind of similar to something you might find at a fair or carnival.This place can sometimes be pretty busy to shop at. Food came out quickly and was presented well and at the right temperature. I have the steak tips and ate every single bit. The wings were also crispy and covered in a delicious sauce. “I went to Waffle House after waiting for a half hour at the Cracker Barrel, I ordered the old timers breakfast with Biscuits and Gravy, after a significant wait the waitress brought the eggs and said it would be a little bit longer for the Biscuits and Gravy, the eggs were long past cold when she came out again telling me me they were out of biscuits and offered toast so without eating anything I paid my bill I walked out. Now back to the waffle House. I was served my desired B&G breakfast, it was cooked exactly as I had asked and it was within five minutes. So why only 4 Stars? The W.H. is a very loud environment, their wait staff think nothing of yelling back and forth. The food is delicious and great value. But it would be nice with a modicum of decorum.“

“I read reviews before going to a restaurant and I have to say that I can’t relate to any of the negative reviews. Ordered a beef bowl, chicken tacos and a pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The side of potato salad was my absolute favorite, asked for the recipe and all - it was that good. Staff was so friendly, and so happy to have seen my fiancé and I enjoy our meal. Highly recommend and wish them so much success.“

My wife also tried their collard greens, which were also spot-on. Not pictured because they didn’t last long. ? 10/10 for execution.All in with a soda was $23.50 before tip. CASH ONLY (for now?); they weren’t taking cards when we were there. The on-site ATM has a $3 fee. They had a new cash register in a box on the bar, so perhaps this is changing.The proprietor is a nice lady and chatted with us a bit, seated out front on the patio enjoying the weather. The restaurant itself is a small, low-key converted store of a restaurant, with a limited menu of home-style soul food. Nothing more, nothing less. If that sounds good to you, I’d say give it a shot. “We had a rehearsal dinner at the Village Square 4/12/2024. We had 48 guests and they accommodated us perfectly. I worked with Courtney to customize/limit the menu. She was so helpful the food was fantastic! They had plenty of staff that accommodated everyone, they were flexible and allowed me to bring in my dessert to stay within budget, set it up, displayed it and cleaned. All of our guests were so impressed with the quality of food and the staff. We had the shrimp and grits, filet, and chicken. They also added pasta primavera for the vegetarians. They were all delicious, but they knocked the filet out of the park definitely work the extra money. I will go back again and recommend for any type of celebration.Parking: Parking garage directly behind the restaurant along with street parking.“

I actually enjoy treating friends to breakfast at Rock Harbor so I can see the surprise in their eyes.On top of breakfast, they have thick and juicy burgers. The only downside is that, despite the "non-smoking" dining room, we left smelling like cigarettes, probably from smokers in the tavern. Improved HVAC design would probably fix that. My solution will be to visit during mild weather and take advantage of the outdoor seating. We will definitely be back!“
