Black Hoof Brewing Company Brewery • $$
11 S King St, Leesburg

“I liked the beers here. It appears to be a local hangout with very little seating. People were enjoying the basketball games on the big screen. There were lots of dogs, which I love, and patrons standing at the high tables outside on the sidewalk. The interior is relatively uninteresting so I spent most of my time out front looking at the people dining at King Street Oyster House across the street. It’s a good location and they have a small beer garden out back. I tried the Oatmeal Stout. I’d say that it was very good. Good place to stop for a beer and maybe hang out with some friends while on your way to something else in the old downtown.“

Dynasty West -Leesburg Brewery • $$
101 Loudoun St SE, Leesburg

“This was a small little house downtown. Not too big inside maybe 3-4 tables in front room with an outdoor seating area and another small adjacent room. Bartender was super informative and helped guide us through the selections. Several nice IPA's but One IPA was really good. Mosaic Vision, excellent! My favorite stop so far.“

“Grant was a knowledgeable guy who told us all about the local beer and wine scene. The beer was great too! The rainy day provided us with an opportunity to taste a few beers- the Gingerbread Stout was perfect for the day. Don’t miss this brewery!“

Loudoun Brewing Company Brewery • $
310 E Market St, Leesburg

“Came to Leesburg for a wedding and our first stop was Loudoun Brewing because it was open at 2pm on a thursday (rare for leesburg). The beer was amazing and we loved the different vibes of all the spaces: downstairs taproom vibe, upstairs cozy lounge gaming vibe (with a bathroom), tent shade and greenery vibe with views of the house that General Marshall WWII Secretary of Defense lived in post war), and the sunny brewery game vibe front.Honestly we had a great time and def would recommend it for anyone who flies into Dulles and their room isnt quite ready or just wants to explore. Quick uber from most hotels in leesburg.“

“We recently hosted our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, Black Walnut met and exceeded our expectations and provided the perfect setting for a memorable evening. The atmosphere at Black Walnut Brewery was exactly what we were looking for—inviting, festive, and perfectly suited for our 50-person welcome party. Despite the chilly weather, the thoughtful inclusion of heaters ensured that our guests were comfortable both indoors and outdoors. The venue's proximity to parking and our rehearsal dinner venue made it incredibly convenient for our guests, especially those traveling from Dulles or DC.The inclusion of signs added a personal touch, making it easy for everyone to navigate the space. The restrooms were well-maintained, and the overall setup contributed to the welcoming atmosphere. While there were some good food options, it was the drinks that truly stole the show. Black Walnut Brewery offers more than just beer, and the selection of drinks was exceptional. The bartenders demonstrated efficiency and skill, ensuring that our guests had a great time enjoying the various beverage options.Communication with the Black Walnut team was also great. Easy via email, from the initial planning stages to the day of the event, the staff was professional, friendly, and attentive to our needs and the needs of our guests. Unlike other venues, we were pleasantly surprised that we weren't charged for the space. This gesture allowed us to focus on creating a welcoming environment and ensured that our guests could fully partake in the fantastic drinks Black Walnut has to offer. Our wedding welcome party at Black Walnut Brewery was a truly memorable experience, and we would do it again in a heartbeat. “First time in while I was in town for my son’s competition. Happened to see two dudes playing a banjo and a guitar outside and decided to pop in for a beer. And boy was that the right decision. Had a couple of beers out front in the Adirondack chairs the pale and the IPA were delicious but most importantly Alex, behind the bar was the epitome of hospitality. highly recommend if you’re ever in Leesburg for the good vibes, the excellent service the great beer.“

Vanish Farmwoods Brewery Brewery • $$

“We stumbled upon this gem on our way back from Leesburg outlets. It is a HUGE space. Several rooms for private parties, outdoor space with live music, arcade. There is a variety of beer and non-beer beverages. My boyfriend got a flight. His favorite was the Wraith. I enjoyed the Midnight City cider. Several food options for those who need a bite. Enjoyed the pretzel with beer cheese. Very open brewery with plenty of seating inside. Looking forward to going back when it's warmer to enjoy the outdoor space as well.“

The Dell: Food & Brew Hall Brewery •
1602 Village Market Blvd SE #120, Leesburg

“Came here to chill out before going to Bowlero and it was a lot cooler than I was expecting! They have trivia night every Wednesday but my friend and I weren't mentally prepared to be competitive that day. We got a 2 rounds of drinks and a snack from one of the 3 restaurants in the brew hall. They have a great deal where you can get a beer and a snack for $15! For the first round of drinks my friend and I got two cocktails, and we got beers for the second round. The cocktails were really well made and our bartender was nice enough to charge us the happy hour prices even though we got there only a minute before HH ended. I think it would be fun to go to trivia and actually play next time!“

Dynasty Brewing Brewery • $$
21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr suite 130-135, Ashburn - 8.44 miles

“Great local microbrewery in Northern Virginia. Always a good mix of beers on tap and great staff too. I like that it’s not a huge brewery / restaurant like some other places, just beer, a few tv’s, back patio and relaxing environment. Also very dog friendly. We usually come w our two pups and grab a beer or two each week. On Sundays there’s also a discount if you bring a dog, and there’s a very fun trivia night on Wednesdays. It’s so fun / popular that if you don’t arrive early you may not find a table. Just a great local place to have in the community.“

“Had a great time here with family. Oysters were good and so was the beer. We also had sandwiches and nachos which were good. The staff were helpful and nice. There's a lot of areas to sit and there's also some outdoor seating. There was also some live music on the other side of the bar which was cool.“

Harvest Gap Brewery Brewery • $$
15485 Purcellville Rd, Hillsboro - 8.73 miles

“I don’t make a habit of reviewing breweries because people experience them differently, but felt compelled with this one. Harvest Gap Brewery has consistently good beer on tap - recommend Heavy D for the sour lovers and the toasted lager for the stout lovers (not an IPA drinker, so can’t provide a recommendation there). Also, don’t be fooled by the seemingly small gathering space when you first walk through the front door - there is a large beer hall just past the bar & bathrooms, with an additional overflow gathering space just past that. The outdoor space is expansive, offering fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of running around space for kids. Lastly, the mountain views, especially in the early evening, are gorgeous! Highly recommend this great LC brewery!“

Belly Love Brewing Company Brewery • $$
725 E Main St, Purcellville - 7.67 miles

“I love this place because the owners and managers are very involved and are friendly, approachable, and involved in the local community. I appreciate the cider selection as most local breweries overlook offering solid options for GF clients that don't taste like grape juice. The cider selections of Henway and Corcoran are excellent and highlight some of the better local cideries in Virginia. They offer a really good, well-rounded variety of beers - which means if you're in a group there is something for everyone.I would absolutely recommend Belly Love to anyone. They also have an incredible trivia night on Thursdays. Make sure to come early or you may not get a seat- it's that popular! If you're into collecting Brewery t-shirts, they have some amazing graphic art designs you'll want to add to your collection.“

Quattro Goombas Brewery Brewery • $$
22860 James Monroe Hwy, Aldie - 9.41 miles

“Been coming here since 2012. Twelve years later, it just keeps getting better. Over the last twelve years they have more wine varieties, added more delicious food, and added a brewery. The food, wine and beer get an A plus. The staff is polite and very friendly. I only hane two complaints. I wish they had longer evening hours, and the entrance to the parking lot should be wider and paved.“
