Prospect Point Brewing Brewery • $
5500a Jefferson Pike, Frederick

“Excellent farm brewery located outside of Frederick. Beautiful property and great beer! My husband and I have been here a few times and always enjoyed the beers we have tried, especially the tangerine one! We took home a growler of it. This place is very family friendly, always has food trucks and you can get food delivered as well. Great place to spend an afternoon with family and friends.“

MIDNIGHT RUN BREWING Brewery • $$

“Beers here are the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of different beers over the years). Great atmosphere with sort of a Cheers-like feel. Kristy is usually there serving beers. Her knowledge, experience and warm personality make it a pleasure to frequent my visits here. I highly recommend a visit to this place and see for yourself.“

Idiom Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
340 E Patrick St #104, Frederick

“Given the current selection of breweries in Frederick, Idiom is good. Is the beer perfect? Nah. But certainly better than all other options in town. I feel like Idiom is becoming a victim of it's own success, or perhaps I am the victim of their success. With the addition of the kitchen, there are no dogs allowed..not a fan of that. As well as, it gets so busy even during non-peak hours now that there is a line of 5+ people with every trip to the tiny bar. At times this line for beer is ridiculous, but again..there arent great alternative places to go. Anyway..just my thoughts. *moreover, the staff there right now do not seem happy. Not sure if that's because of what I've mentioned, management, other...only they know.*i mean, you can set the record straight, but that doesnt change my thoughts above. Anyway I gave you 4 stars. Do you want 5? If I were waiting in line for Mylar Rings or equivalent, then I might be ok with that. Look at the success of Prospect. At theyre busiest, they dont have the lines that develop at Idiom and they only have like 8 taps. Cushwa also doesnt have lines. Again, just my thoughts. Also, yes, obviously we can bring dogs outside...anywhere.. Lastly, is the staff upset that they work day jobs? I do that as well.. If you arent open to customer feedback I dont see that ending well for you. It's all good man. We go there. We like it. Just feedback.“

Monocacy Brewing Company Brewery • $
1781 N Market St, Frederick

“Monocacy brewing is a great place for a cold and tasty pint. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and quick. They only serve beer so you don’t have one person behind the bar having to make cocktails and pour beer. They have a decent inside seating area and plenty of outdoor seating. They have events such as food and beer pairings. We did an ice cream and beer parking which was an awesome and fun experience. My favorite beer here is ghost of the ice cream man which is named because this building used to be an ice cream production plant. If you’re in town trying Frederick’s many beers, you have to try this spot!“

Rockwell Brewery Riverside Brewery • $
8411 Broadband Drive k, Frederick

“They had a pizza truck outside. They didn't have table service which is kinda normal with breweries. It was like a big warehouse with big cats in it. Which is what you normally see. Plenty of seating and even kid friendly. I don't know if they have outside seating. The beer was really good. I like stouts. I'll go back again.“

Steinhardt Brewing Brewery • $$
340 E Patrick St Suite 100-102, Frederick

“Stopped in on a Sunday late afternoon in January. They have plenty of beer selections and seltzer options. I had the blood orange IPA and thought it was good. The bartenders were attentive and personable. The atmosphere was easygoing. There was music which was nice. The little creek is just outside the doors - in January the water was frozen but I imagine it is very nice in the warmer months to just be outside enjoying the weather. There was a food truck out in the parking lot - I didn’t eat anything. Parking was easy enough but the lot was small. It might be full in better weather but I’m sure there is street parking nearby. They are dog-friendly here and there were multiple well behaved dogs inside. I’d stop in again if in the area.“

Attaboy Beer Brewery • $$
400 Sagner Ave # 400, Frederick

“Attaboy Beer is a DOG FRIENDLY microbrewery that is made up of a garage and beer garden. I recommend coming here if you are into experimentation styles--they enjoy playing around with mixed fermentation and barrel aging. They sell beer and chips. You are welcome to bring your own food to the brewery, however, they do host a food truck every day. Please note that they do have two locations--this page is for the Attaboy Beer spot and not the Barrel House (event and mixing spot).“

“We had a large party, as our family and friends hadn't seen one another in a long time. Alani was our server, and she was very attentive, personable, and friendly! When she saw one of us trying to take a selfie of everyone at our table, she asked if we'd like her to take some pictures of us. We were very pleased with her service, and the food was great!“
