“My sister and I had lunch here today, it was a bit busy but we got seated right away. Service was great and the food was fairly quick and delicious! Some of the best soup I’ve ever had.The spring rolls were crisp and sooo good with the sauce and so adored my Boba Pina Colada! “My hubby and I have been to Carlyle twice. Both times we shared the Judith Point calamari with the corn salsa. Calamari preparation can range from horribly rubbery and tasteless, to just “meh,” or to what Carlyle has done with it - fried to perfection, with complementary flavors in the sauces and corn salsa- for the win!I ordered the smoked salmon on my first visit two years ago, and because it was so tastefully prepared, I couldn’t bring myself to try another dish. It is just delicious.Hubby ordered crab cakes, along with coleslaw and shoestring fries. Crab cakes were meaty and flavorful. Sides were good.Atmosphere and service are good. I love that it’s in a walkable area, just a few blocks from the Shirlington Hilton. Give Carlyle a try!“

“We’ve been wanting to check out some more of the restaurants in Old Town Fairfax. The Wine House did not disappoint! I had the pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes and green beans. The tenderloin was wrapped in an olive tapenade and prosciutto. It was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the Dark Chocolate Terrine with espresso cream and toasted hazelnuts. It was decadent and wonderful. Of course the wine selection was great. Looking forward to going back again.“

“My husband and I went to Firebirds In Woodbridge this past Sunday March 24. It was our first time at this restauran. Well what a surprise, the service was amazin. We were seated within 5 minute. Our server Cyd was promptly at our table with hot rolls and took our order. when asked about certain items on the menu Cyd was helpful and knowledgeble about the menu. He never hovered but was always present when needed. He was the perfect server. we will return again soon. I must add also the food was delicious and lots of it. “Absolutely delicious food! Stopped in Occoquan to get out of 95 traffic—we picked a gem! The bacon-wrapped meatloaf was delicious; the Greek Lamb burger was delicious as well! Though they should make their fries “bottomless”! Will definitely stop here again.“

“With a small group, we took my father-in-law out to celebrate his 70th birthday. This restaurant serves Brazilian feast/ or buffet every day and only on Sundays it serves brunch including breakfast station, made to order omelets and waffle station. In the center of the restaurant has the variety of other entrees, condiments, soups, chocolate fountain, salads, limited desserts, and cereal. Our server Kate was fantastic, friendly, took initiative, and very attentive. They also have variety of limited Brazilian meats that comes out of the broil and serves from table to table and will continue to serve until you flip over the coaster with a color coded red means stop or green means go. It's all you can eat buffet. The highlight of our visit was not just friends and family but the enthusiastic side order chef that was making our egg omelets and waffles. But all staff members were great and helpful. We will definitely make a return visit.“
