“This is hands down my favorite eatery in Martinsville. The atmosphere is so inviting and peaceful, I love to have lunch here when I can. The staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, I'm always happy to see them and they always make me feel so welcome. And to those who are just fans of the delicious drinks, if you have time one day, try some food off the menu! Everything is made fresh and so flavorful and delicious. My favorite things to order are either of the rice bowls or a Korean corndog with a Taro Milk tea or a Thai tea. Can't talk enough about how much I love this place, please support this small business!!”
“The best kept secret in Martinsville, Va nice, cozy little atmosphere with the best food around! The desserts are home-made and the best you'll ever have anywhere! Home-made pies and cookies!! Absolutely 5 stars for all. Service is spot on! The nicest wait staff you will ever see!”
“It's pretty good considering there's no other Indian places around but it's the most expensive gas station food I've ever had. Nothing to write home about ”
“Delicious! Chicken tenders were perfect. Peach cobbler was divine. Coleslaw was actually pretty terrible/flavorless (just pick a different side!) But I can’t wait to come back here again!”
“I love this place- here’s a storyA D&A StoryIn my favorite little diner today, the D&A Cafe in Martinsville, Va, I noticed a guy waiting for a table. This happens a lot at this popular little place at lunch rush and I’ve been stuck waiting before myself. I know how inconvenient it is when you only have a half and hour for lunch.I signaled him to come join me if he wanted and he was appreciative and thanked me for offering on the way to a table just cleared off for him. I guess the only possibly unusual thing about it was that this older gentleman was black and I look a lot like General Lee ?Truth is I could give two hoots in hell what color a person is and, if I can help, I’m going to help. The fellow thanked me again as he was on his way out and I didn’t think anything of it until I got to the cash register and the proprietor told me that “that other fellow you offered a seat to paid your bill for you.”Now, If that doesn’t make you feel good, I don’t know what.Thank you, Sir ❤️”
“This was our first time going to Brenda's, after a coworker recommended her, we were very pleased with the servings and prices of our plates. We are already planning on visiting her establishment again.”
“We've come here a few times - mostly breakfast until today when we had lunch. My husband really enjoyed the meatloaf (which is rare because he doesn't like most restaurants meatloaf ). Great atmosphere, the staff really cares. All the food has been terrific. Definitely go check this place out when you're in town!”
“Nice place, good food, fast service. We ordered at the counter and our food was brought out pretty quickly. The restaurant was very nice and well decorated. The cheese pizza was very good, the buffalo chicken sandwich was mild but tasty. The steak and cheese was very good as were the fries!Kid-friendliness: Large and open, booths and tables.”
“They catered my wedding The food was amazing. We ordered baked chicken and received two different flavors. We included mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, rolls, and salad. They added two homemade red velvet cakes, yams, and meatballs. It was past my expectations... Everything was ready, packed securely, and hot. The cakes were outstanding. There was so much food we were able to share with our church family the next day. They stayed in communication with us and made sure I was completely happy. They went over and beyond to make sure I could include them on my big day !! I highly recommend checking them out.”
“This was great authentic food. I had tamales and a torta it was great the bf had chimichangas which he said was good he also got the street corn very disappointed that it was not on the cob just corn out of the can which was not that good he also got the chorizo cheese dip it was noting but grease and water down cheese those 2 items were nasty won't order those again but everything else was great.”
“TLDR Summary: Pretty cool place to fly in and eat. I had a fish sandwich and my co-pilot had the Club. Both were very good and very filling. Pricing was very decent as well.In-Depth -Food Quality: My fish sandwich was very big and filling, and pretty tasty. Definitely not the best out there but it was pretty good for inland food. My side salad was also very good and a decent size.Atmosphere: You get to watch aircraft take off and land while eating your meal, so it's hard to loose there. The inside was very clean and shared space with the FBO. Nothing fancy but it will suffice for a cute date or a quick and interesting meal with your wife.Service: Service was great and attentive. No complaints there.Random Note: Their tea is suuuuper sweet. I recommend at least half-and-half.”
“I had no idea there is an Elizabeth's in Collinsville. Had lunch with a friend. Pizza was fantastic. Service is awesome. Very nice employees and service. I love this place. Very quaint and has a nice, relaxing atmosphere. It is a true pizza shop. Just like the old times.”
“Any time we get to stop in for a club sub, it's a treat! The bread is delicious, and the dressing is perfectly balanced! The ONLY thing missing was that they no longer serve pickle spears with the sandwiches. I used to get an extra pickle spear because it made for the perfect bite every time... If I'd had a pickle spear, it would've been perfect... but, I NEVER eat a sub without pickles, so the fact that I still love it without a pickle spear really says a lot from me! I'll keep coming back every chance I get. I don't know what it is about that bread and the dressing, but WOW! PLEASE don't EVER change that!!!”
“Absolute BEST place around to eat. If you haven't been the yet, you are sorely missing out. Amazing food, awesome service, great prices, great atmosphere. Beth and Travis are wonderful people and the folks that frequent there are super friendly. Huge portions of food, at a small portion price. You'll enjoy an amazing meal, and usually some comedy provided by the guests. ?Including myself, not guna lie. Anyway, hope to see yaw there!Parking: It's a small lot with about 10 parking spots. But the food is worth it if you have to park up the road and walk.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and menu items available to suit kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp leading to front door, and Wheelchair/♿️ handicap parking available.”
“I’ve been eating wings for a long time, and I must honestly say these were by far the best chicken wings I have had in a very, very long time they were bursting with so much flavor they were so juicy and not overcooked I mean cooked to ”
