“Ardent is my favorite brewery in Virginia. I love Pilsners and lagers and Ardent brews some of the best. I feel like most breweries concentrate on IPAs but Ardent provides a nice mix of all, so all types of beer drinkers should be satisfied. It's a great space to hangout whether you are inside or outside, there's plenty of seating options. All the staff is friendly and attentive, it must be a great working environment as a lot of the staff have been there for many years. There's plenty of food options as well as Ardent has a nice menu of sandwiches, salads and appetizers. Also within the same parking lot you have Eazzy Burger and ZZQ BBQ which are top notch! You can pickup beer to go and they also provide delivery options as well.Visit the Barrel Room around the corner for some of their beers while watching comedy or singing along with karaoke night.Fun, food and great beers. Their Fuego shot was recommended so I did try that along with their Costa Smoothie.The Fuego shot wasn’t as ginger heavy as I was personally looking for. It was more pepper to me, which speaks to the pepper that’s in it. So if you’re ok with that then it may be for you!The Costa smoothie is good. It’s a great blend between the mango , pineapple and strawberry fruits. The star of the show is the mango. So if you like mango, with a a trail of pineapple and a sweet linger from the strawberries this is your smoothie. I will say the Apple Juice that in it is a tad too much for me but not enough to take away from the other elements. If you’re looking for a thick smoothie. This isn’t it but overall good smoothie.I would try them again! After all I haven’t tasted the food yet!“
