First Watch is a cozy and friendly restaurant with a cheery vibe. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. They offer great seasonal items and the best pancakes. While some dishes like the sautéed kale may arrive raw, the overall food is fresh. The atmosphere could use some plants, but outdoor seating offers a cute and shaded experience. The shrimp and grits dish, however, was too greasy and affected the flavor. Despite this, the service is good and makes for a pleasant dining experience.
