“There were not enough people here eating! Had a friend in town and we were nearby so I recommended this place. I had the pollo guisado (stewed chicken), with arroz amarillo, and frijoles negros. This is one of the best deals in HR, with the amount of food you get for the price, and I've had several different meals here. You will not be disappointed!“
“Jennifer greeted us and made our lunch so much more comfortable with her knowledge of the menu! The place was filled with workers from all over. Everyone was cleaning up the food off their plates and chatting and looked soooooo happy. The kitchen takes pride in every plate & it shows; fresh herbs on each, plentiful amounts, plantain leaves as plate decorations lend a real flavor.The mofongo & cubano are fantastic!!!!! Large enough to eat for two days or more. So good! The sorrullitos were a lil sweet but the mayoketchup solved that small problem. Almost like being in Puerto Rico…Anytime we find ourselves near by, WE WILL STOP & EAT AT La Yaris Tropical!Parking: Plenty of spaces for several businesses.“
