“Barbara made us Fried Chicken and Mac-n-Cheese. I ordered the plain MnC, as she didn't offer it with Jalapenos. To my surprise, she made me a Jalapeno version, and it was as amazing as her fried chicken. I hope she makes Jalapeno Mac a permanent part of the menu. It had JUST the right amount of spice to it, and everyone at our Tailgate loved it - it was gone before the regular Mac.“
“El Vaquero was a great find in the town of Orange, VA. The food was quite good and very similar to dishes served at other Mexican restaurants. Service was fast and friendly. Many lunch customers were obviously local folks. Lunch prices are VERY reasonable ($6 and up at the time of this review), and portions are certainly enough. We will be returning to enjoy it again. Thank you to the owners for keeping prices low and affordable for the community.“
“This place not only has amazing food but the people who work here clearly love their business! The man who made our food was so fun and kind and gave me a BUNCH of corn as per my request. Normally people don't give me as much as my corn loving self needs..The woman who works there would also make sure everyone was doing ok and had what they needed while she was cleaning up tables and was just generally so friendly.Definitely recommend coming here, it feels like you're part of a family!Kid-friendliness: I brought my 5 month old and while there I saw lots of other kids and the owner (I assume he was the owner) was so incredibly friendly to the kids! He even helped one kid try some new foods and was just generally very helpful!“
