“Amazing food and service and free truck parking”

“Really cute combination of a winery and brewery. Went for the brews, which were all good though the porter seemed overly hoppy/bitter compared to what I'm used to and the brown seemed sweet. Friendly bartender who asked the right questios. The Irish Red and cider especially were nice if you enjoy dry ciders -- two beers with a 20% tip was $20. No real stouts. The area is beautiful and picturesque, though the family-friendly atmosphere had a downside as two families showed up whose kids were having meltdowns outside while their dog lost their mind and used the bathroom which makes enjoying your fries while you sip a beer a little less appetizing (but if I had enough I'd maybe not care). If the food truck is there, definitely try it the fries were great and reasonably priced.”

“The Mint Condition - the Turtle Mocha - oh how I missed thee! There was a time when Caribou Coffees were everywhere - I got their delectable coffee at Northern Virginia malls, at my neighborhood local shopping center, and back home in NC. Their specialty drinks were the perfect blend of caffeine and dessert - and very much not like Starbucks or Peete's or anywhere else. And then they were all gone in a flash, to my dismay, EXCEPT this one last Virginia location!!! What a find! Can you also still imagine the crisp minty taste of a Mint Condition (with the little mints chopped on top)? The caramel smoothness of a Turtle Mocha? Then stop at Exit 205 on Hwy 81 - they are inside the Orchard Creek Auto Plaza. While pumping gas and checking out the extensive array of other items to purchase (from purses and slankets to local-made snacks and dog accessories), you can grab a cup of nostalgia to go.”

“The mix veggies pizza was surprisingly really good. Even though it's a takeaway place, the Indian family operating this store is super friendly and made our visit to the store really enjoyable. It's one of the best convenience store experience we've had in this area.Hospitality like this makes you want to visit again.”

“We had to take our truck into the service shop. Let me tell you that everyone working there was so very nice and pleasant! The people in the office behind the desk and all of the mechanics in the shop as well. I made the comment to my husband that it was the friendliest people we've come across while being over the road, and he agreed.”

But the manger needs improvement on how to treat your employees no wonder the poor girl was upset, they way the manger was treating her, but she served us with a friendly smile, me I would quit. BK train your mangers to treat employees with respect. And I be more worried about mangers having tattoos on neck that look like crap. Treat the young employees with respect and quit down grading them in front of customers,”

“I live over an hour from my son, and ordered a pizza for him and his friends that were working on a car. I was apprehensive at first due to the low star rating, but I ordered anyway. He got the order long before the delivery estimate and everyone said the pizza was great. I don't normally do these things because it's a pain, but with some of the stuff I read, they may have just had a bad experience due to what was going on that particular day, and don't want them counted out. Great job guys, and will order from y'all again.”

“This place was a road stop. Talk about a hidden gem. Steak and cheese was probably in the top 3 I have ever had. That's a great rating for me. The bread was phenomenal. My wife loved her Italian sub, and the pizza got a thumbs up from the kids. It's worth the 2 or 3 min drive off the highway.”

“Sunday Funday was an exciting adventure as we embarked on a road trip to Fairfield, VA to visit Ecco Adesso Vineyards. The drive may have been long, but it was absolutely worth it. The vineyard reminded me of a charming château, with its picturesque surroundings and elegant atmosphere. It was a truly unforgettable experience that left me feeling inspired and rejuvenated.I was warmly welcomed by Brian and a lovely young lady (I apologize for forgetting your name). They were both delightful and made me feel right at home. Brian even took me on a tour of the cellar and eagerly answered all of my questions!They offered four different types of wine flights for tasting. One from Williamsburg Vineyard, one from Sassaia Vineyards (from Italy, as they are close friends), an old world vs new world flight, and one from Ecco Adesso. I decided to go with the flight from the winery. My favorites were the 2022 Petit Manseng and the 2022 new world Chardonnay. I highly recommend making the drive to the vineyard as it does not disappoint with its wines, beautiful scenery, sheep, and overall serenity. Don't forget to pack a picnic!”

“Miss Joleen, who I did not know, was manager. Because she was dressed down was so awesome and down to earth. She made love to my pizza because she asked me how would I like it made and she suggested some things and I let her do her stuff. The pizza was very good, though I shouldn't be having ? LOL?...!At Love's when I park there, I didn't realize there was a walk a walkway through Pilot Travel center that's how I got there.The other lady seems very nice as well. If I'm ever at this area again, I will make sure to stop in and say hi to Miss Joleen. Cashier was kind and raised with manners for sure.Parking: It's a huge parking lot for only McDonald's and Shell station.Kid-friendliness: They welcome kids of all ages. They have a variety of happy meals for the kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Both Shell and McDonald's have a wheelchair accessible door.”
