“We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!“

“Superb authentic Indian food. The real taste of south Indian cuisines, well cooked and every item on the Buffet was tasty. The staff greet you with a smile and really take care of your choice of food and also give their suggestions to try other dishes too. They had mild, medium and high spicy foods displayed in the buffet. The atmosphere was very nice, clean and looked very hygienic. I would highly recommend this restaurant, a must try, if you like Indian food. I will certainly go there again. Thanks a million, Keep it up.“

They even have a carrom board and a ping pong table, and lots of fun board games in a special “Time Pass” area. If you love good food, you have to stop by !!! “This is one of the best restaurants in Loudoun County, hands down. I get a new appetizer every time I go, and each time I am thoroughly impressed at the quality of flavor and ingredients. The malai kofta and paneer lababdar are heavenly, a must try. We have begun to go so regularly that the staff recognize us immediately, place us at our favorite table, and remember details of food allergies and are highly accommodating. The owner is incredibly kind and greets all of his customers, the wait staff is super attentive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. This is a must-stop for Hindustani food in the area.“

“First time i ordered from Punjabi Junction, so wanted to try a variety of dishes. food was excellent, just 1 thing that i was disappointed with, the onions with chole bhature were pink but tasted like recently wasted, so very plain and bland. I had also done a side of onion and pickle, and it was the same washed pickle with nimmbo achaar on top. i would've liked it to be tossed so its flavorful bit it wasn't. felt like a waste of money. it definitely impacted the experience of the dishes.

The food overall was good, a lot of chole to go with bhature, goat curry was excellent, khadai chicken was good, naan options were good, samosa chat was good as well, but OMG the Gajar Halwa so was sooo good. i ordered the dishes indian hot, didn't connect in my brain that it might be actually hot, so the gajar halwa really tasted amazing.“

We started with the kale and yogurt appetizer, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Crisp, tart, sweet, salty - astoundingly good! Then our main dishes just carried it forward. I had the crispy pork belly with shrimp paste, and my friend had the oxtail and eggplant. They were like nothing I’ve ever had before, and such unique and enjoyable flavor/texture combinations. The chicken curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced—just the right amount of heat. The goat dum biryani was aromatic and tender, with the perfect balance of spices and herbs. But the standout for me was definitely the chili gobi. The crispy cauliflower had an incredible depth of flavor, with a perfect balance of sweetness and spice.

“My husband and I love Banjara and any time our friends ask where to go for good Indian food, this is it! The dishes are consistently delicious and flavorful. Some of our favorites: Karari Palak Chaat, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Korma (any protein the sauce is amazing), Chicken Biryani, Palak Paneer, and Garlic Naan 😋. For drinks I love the mango lassi and salted lassi (very acquired taste if you’ve never had a yogurt drink before). Dessert favorites are their Gulab Jamun and Saffron Kheer. The ambiance is spacious and traditional. PS: be prepared for a wait on the weekends for the buffet… it can get busy. The buffet is such a good deal for the quality, variety, and quantity of food you get. Also if you get Jefferson as your server, you are in good hands… He’s our favorite!“
