“Everything is excellent and perfect!!!!!!“

“We loved our experience. Came for dinner with my husband and ordered several dishes. The chicken platter appetizer came out sizzling and delicious. We also enjoyed the Gobi Manchurian (sweet and spicy cauliflower appetizer). The Natu Kodi and Shrimp Curry entrees were both spicy oily and tomato-based with the perfect amount of seasoning… very rich in flavor. Enjoyed both of those dishes. My favorite entree was the paneer butter masala. Amazing sauce - similar to butter chicken sauce. I was eating the sauce with everything!! Also had an amazing Chicken Dum Biryani where the chicken was on the bottom of the rice. The garlic naan was phenomenal. Got to meet their chef Krishna who was super nice and explained some of the dishes to us. We were pleased with our meal and will be back to try out their buffet next!“

“Superb authentic Indian food. The real taste of south Indian cuisines, well cooked and every item on the Buffet was tasty. The staff greet you with a smile and really take care of your choice of food and also give their suggestions to try other dishes too. They had mild, medium and high spicy foods displayed in the buffet. The atmosphere was very nice, clean and looked very hygienic. I would highly recommend this restaurant, a must try, if you like Indian food. I will certainly go there again. Thanks a million, Keep it up.“

“Saturday buffet was good, tasty and comfort food, not spicy, not bland, just the right taste with right amount of spices and salt. Four veg starters, four non veg starters, two non veg curries, two veg curries, two rice items, two dessert options.“

“Ate here yesterday for the first time. Delicious! My wife and I are excited to find an Indian restaurant nearby we both love.

We got lunch portions of the chicken chettinad and chicken kolhapuri. Hard to say which was better as they were both delicious. If you love spicy dishes these will hit your taste without being overpowering (we love spice and found the spice level around a medium). Amazing portions for the lunch dishes: you get a lot for a cool twelve bucks.

We also tried dahi puri for the first time and can highly recommend; the right blend of tartness and sweetness to offset the main dishes.

Only picked up but both workers--an older man and woman (owners, maybe?)--were very sweet and polite. The inside is clean and has the feel of a high-end hole-in-the-wall (if that makes sense).“

“This time we went with family members. We tried different varieties. We all enjoyed revert items ordered. Food was delicious , fresh, and tasty. The service was even better. “Chaatwala is hands down one of the best spots in Herndon for authentic Indian food! The chaats are amazing – super fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. The dosas are perfectly crispy, and the curries are rich and delicious. The staff is really friendly, service is quick, and the portions are generous. You can tell they put a lot of care into the food and it shows in every bite. If you’re looking for great Indian street food and comfort dishes in Northern Virginia, this place is a must-visit. “Very good first visit! We did the lunch buffet which is from 12-3 on Sundays and we got there at about 2. Not too busy. Very attentive service. Was offered fresh naan when they noticed the ones on the buffet were getting old which was very nice. Made sure we knew all they offered with their fresh dosa station. Chicken biryani was our favorite item. The samosas and butter chicken were both great. Also fun to try dishes I wouldn’t normally order. They offer a hot tea, rice pudding, and gulab jamun for dessert which all were delicious. It was $25 a person and definitely worth it.“

“I recently dined at this establishment, having a late lunch. I was very impressed by the attentiveness/politeness of the staff. I ordered goat curry with garlic naan, and the meal did not disappoint. My server, Danish, was an excellent host and made the experience very warm and welcoming. I will dine here again.“

“Good food and excellent service!
Stopped by here for a late lunch for two at 3pm and we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered Chicken Malai Tikka, Lamb Seekh Kabob and Pistachio Malai Kofta. Excellent preparation on all three dishes. Kofta was slightly cold on the inside so had to send it back to be reheated but it didn't take too long. The naan and Tandoori Paratha were piping hot and delicious. Our server, Johnny, was cheerful and delighted to serve us.
All in all, a very good meal. This one is definitely the one I must go back to and try some of their other dishes. Convenient location with nearby parking lots as well as paid street parking. Close to Metro.“

“Aditi Goumet is a nondescript small restaurant in Vienna. People can easily miss it as it is in a small strip mall at the edge of Vienna. But, it is a hidden gem. Aditi Gourmet has the best-tasting chicken biryani, the best-tasting goat curry, and the best-tasting okra (“bhindi”) masala in Fairfax County. I recommend it highly.“

“To be honest, I’m quite disappointed and am not sure I will return.

I arrived around 8:30 p.m. and had ordered to eat at the restaurant, but my food was immediately prepared to be packed as if I was taking it to go. On top of that, the cleaning activity was extremely loud. The person cleaning was literally kicking the small stools one by one, creating so much noise that it was impossible to relax or enjoy a meal in the dining area.

At this rate, it feels like the priority after 8:00 p.m. is cleaning rather than providing an inviting space for customers who want to dine in. If that’s the case, it may be worth considering positioning the restaurant as takeout-only after a certain time in the evening.

The manager explained that they had to do a major cleaning because a big group had just left, but from my perspective as a customer, it means my experience depends on whoever came before me.“
