The location, first of all, is fantastic. I've dined and hung around Lake Anne scores of times. The restaurant is warm, inviting and always sets the scene for a great time no matter what time of day or season it is.The food is absolutely outstanding - particularly the spanakopita and the lamb chops. The flaming cheese is not bad either!Service is always heartfelt and striving to do their best for their guests. You really don't feel like a nameless customer here -- it is more like you are a guest in someone's home.Our wedding reception was beautifully arranged. Vicky (the owner) made sure all 175+ guests left happy - no expense spared. And it was just the perfect setting - outdoors, a bit of a chill in the air, perfect lighting and top notch food.Kalypso's is like home away from home for us and we will keep going back!“

“My friend and I had a delightful lunch experience at a Vietnamese restaurant in the area a while back. Spring rolls were cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and moist interior. Beef pho was warm and full of flavor. We loved the texture of the perfectly grilled squid in the mixed vegetable salad, which was even more delicious with the dipping sauce. The beef was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the rice. The interior decor of the restaurant was lovely, and the large windows let in plenty of sunlight. I highly recommend this place.“

He is such a great person overall, and he knows exactly what he’s doing behind the bar as well as outside the bar. He is very attentive and socializes with all of his customers. Yes, I saw many of the same face get awards again and again.To some, it seemed like favoritism. This time around, I saw things a little differently. Having a brief talk with the owner of the company definitely put a different perspective on things.The music play was okay, but I did not care for The GoGo Music one bit. The whole location of this party have ke the feeling we were at a collage campus, but I can't say for sure right now.The party was at night so I couldn't see to much of the place. Nevertheless,I had a great time here and look forward to seeing other staff members get drunk and dance around.I will say the next Reston Limousine party I go to, no cost or tie is going g to be worn.“

“Liked the self ordering kiosk. Busy day for a Tuesday where the restaurant area was busy. Had to go up to the bar to get the regular drinks I ordered after waiting for them. The wait for food was about 25 minutes and the bartender forgot to bring me water that I asked for. The bartender was busy with a bigger party and totally forgot about my party of two. Food was good though and I enjoyed the games. I noticed most of the games are a dollar per play which is awesome and allows for more game play with the money spent.“
