“I like the food and prices here, and especially when they have their Tuesday Tacos special. We had a little misunderstanding about what was included in the special, but it was straightened out once we questioned the bill. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.“
“I love this place. All good is made from scratch before your eyes. I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal. Burritos are great and are served with fresh avocado and rice and a papusa. I also love their ceviche. BeefsteakEnsenbollada is fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Now days there are only 2 seats on a counter against the wall. At least that was as a month ago. When you want some really good food in the back of a convenience store, this is the place.“
“We used to have a local to Leesburg location but they closed. Loved that place, but now this location is the closest option - I frequent the sterling area, so I just drive the extra 7 miles out of my way. Worth it. The burritos are gigantic, the chips and cheese are affordable and very good. The honey lime burrito is my fave.“
“Uber Eats order for the win - great value for the price. Not sure why the ratings are so low but glad we took the chance. We tried two quesadillas, a burrito and a make your own bowl. I wasn't crazy about the Nashville hot quesadillas but ended up being my favorite. Everything was full of flavor, we will order again!“
“Going on a Friday night was a mistake. We joined the wait list via their website but were informed when we arrived that they don't use that system anymore. The wait was long and there's no waiting area so everyone was standing in the way of staff walking by and people trying to get through the door. The food is exactly the same as their former restaurant (which is to say good quality but not true Tex-Mex) and drinks incredibly overpriced.“
“Came during happy hour, and was pleasantly surprised at the prices and options they had. Loved the frozen lime margarita (a must), with the chicken quesadillas and the guacamole and salsa to share with the table. Loved the pupusas, and the best thing about this restaurant is that the food is always fresh and hot! We loved the tres leches and the churros and ice cream.“
“The people here are just plain awesome and only their food outshines their awesomeness!We have lunch here at least once a week and El Fresco has never failed to deliver.It is Tex-Mex food made with the absolute freshest of ingredients. We swear you can taste the sunshine in the tomatoes used for the many varieties of salsa. Salsa that comes free with a huge helping of the best chips anywhere.We can vouch for anything shrimp having had both the shrimp quesadillas and the handheld shrimp burritos. Both of these are stuffed with fantastic shrimp and the very best of ingredients. (The burrito the winner of any we have ever had and we have had dozens!) All the proteins are of exceptional quality; pork, chicken, steak, etc.The nachos are in a category by themselves -- A delicious monster size helping which we swore we could not finish but oh, look -- we did!There is a terrific lunch menu which runs until the unusual hour of 4:00 p.m. which accommodates us workaholics who will suddenly look at the clock and realize lunch time has passed!We have not had anything of less than stellar quality in the dozens of times we have eaten here.The restaurant is always found in pristine condition as the manager personally takes the time to clean up on a regular basis; you can tell he takes pride in both the facility and the food.NVCC students take note: El Fresco is directly across the street from campus and it offers a 15% discount for students. “Walked here with family from a near-by hotel. My daughter (age 7) said she's going to be moving here someday just to order the kids burrito every day. I don't usually indulge in frozen margaritas so glad that I did here because it was delicious! Spacious, clean and not loud made this an exceptional family friendly restaurant.“
“This place is fantastic and has been for two decades. I moved away from NoVa years ago but recently returned for a visit and this restaurant hasn't missed a beat. I cannot figure out how other reviewers say everything is great and leave 4 stars. Cannot go wrong with the steak fajitas and house margaritas.“
