“Food was "HOT" cooked perfectly and the portions were generous enough for 2.The only issue is the packaged tartar sauce was disgusting and did not compliment the high quality of food u prepare and serve. I have no idea what to make of the cocktail sauce that was made in house..not edible and not pretty.I believe the price of the food should cover decent low priced McCormick (some of the best) tartar and cocktail sauce for a fried fish and shrimp dinner @ 30.00.The "Yams" were delicious and "HOT". Fish and Shrimp cooked perfectly. Hushpuppies had a distinct flavor yummy 3 little ones were not enough...Mac and cheese was tasty!18% gratuity automatically applied..and the ladies are awesome.Food should be a 5 but if you like tartar and cocktail sauce u should get it and it should be good enough to put on the 5 star food u prepare.Bring your own condiments!Restrooms very clean.“
“I really enjoyed the food, the service and atmosphere. Our server, Nique, was soooo sweet amd attentive. The fried catfish was meaty and seasoned well. The sweet potatoes were good as well as the collord greens. Recommended to come for a good southern meal!!!“

“I used Ms. Girlee's catering for a family gathering of 30, after they came highly recommended. I couldn't have been more impressed. From my initial phone call with Helen the owner, to her friendly staff at pick up, the service was top notch. The food was out of this world, I would give highlights but honestly we didn't have one bite of anything that didn't leave us gasping over the taste. The chicken was so crispy and traveled incredibly well. My aunt said the green beans were the best she's ever had. The portions were also very generous. I can't say enough about this business, it was an incredible experience all around. We will be dining here more often!“
“This was my 2nd time dining at Shrimps. The owners are always so accommodating! My friend had a food allergy and the owner offered to prepare a meal just for her, they also offered to prepare an appetizer that was taken off the menu (we declined) the food is so good and fresh, the drinks are great too, all you need is one ($5) I gave 4 stars for service because of the waitress, she’s nice but she’s a bit slow and for the place to be so small she shouldn’t be forgetting this that and the third and should keep your drinks refilled. We will definitely be back to support! Good eats and black owned, I love it“

“Visited for Sunday brunch. The atmosphere was very nice, the music wasn’t too loud. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was good as were the drinks. I had the Boney James, which is fried fish, grits and potatoes. My sisters both had the Georgia on My Mind, which was the shrimp and cheesy grits.
