Extremely confused by any negative reviews of this lovely establishment. I truly think Southbound is one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Richmond, and that’s saying a lot! The atmosphere was great, the service supurb and the food was amazing. My girlfriend had the fried flounder on a bed of grits with a very unique coleslaw. I got the duck and was blow away. The waiter was great at giving us suggestions for things to do and see in the Richmond area.

Amazing food! My mom and I went there to celebrate Lunar New Year! One of the best places to eat and a good selection of food. The service was amazing and the steamed pei mussels were suprisingly fresh.
