“We discovered Midnight Brewery because of the search for somewhere else other than Hardywood because of the crowd and kids.We've been to Midnight twice now and we like it.I love that they have a light pilsner. Not everyone who loves beer, likes a stout, IPA or unfiltered. Also for non-beer they have another option.We also like the crowd of adults and not kids, and the live music, so much better than other brewries that we been to many times. We haven't tried the food trucks yet.I think we've found a new place!“

“Hardywood Brewery was AMAZING! It had friendly and attentive staff and they were super affordable AND had a food truck (which they normally have different ones 4-7 days a week). The indoor space was clean and VERY big! Their outdoor space had everything from a big open field for dogs and people to enjoy (tonight they had an awesome corn hole competition going on which was really fun to watch!) as well as ALL different types of seating options (some more together, some more intimate). They also had disk golf and trails you can walk if you want a group activity! It's an amazing place to visit and I would highly recommend ??“

“Ray was amazing this Sunday afternoon. They had a steady crowd but we were seated once we walked in the food came fast we stopped by because we were traveling back home to Charlotte. Ray spoke about how everything is made from local ingredients and you can tell for sure. We even got food Togo so we won’t have to stop later ???“

“I generally don't leave reviews unless something is so good (or so bad) that it's worth it. This place is worth it. Probably the best brewery in the western suburbs of Richmond. And I visited them all over a brewery hopping weekend with friends. This is on my "come back" list of places - and there's not a lot of those.“

“Splits the difference between "down-home cookin" and "haute cuisine" and does a masterful job of it. There's something for everyone on the menu, and all of it is great. Particularly pleased to see no "cruelty food" (e.g. fois gras) or baby animals (veal, lamb) on the menu. Thanks for that.“

“There are so many ingredients to choose from, and they're always fresh and tasty. The servers are nice and the music adds a bit of ambience. We have been here a number of times and have always been quite happy. You definitely get your money's worth here.“

“YUM! My husband and I are from the Atlanta area and came up here for a conference! We always look for little shops to get some coffee and this was a HIT. We are espresso snobs and this was truly delicious and not too milky or sweet (we both asked for half sweet) My husband got the cookie milk - SO unique and fun! I got the lavender vanilla and it was so floral and pleasant. It's only outdoor seating, but great vibes and beautiful pastries! The lady taking our order was so sweet and served us well! “Awesome place to sip on a drink and eat some god pub food. I had a variety of old fashioned beverages. I love the atmosphere with the fireplace and leather couches. Did was great had the Haddock sandwich. Service was excellent. Will be back“

“Happy Hour is the best! Beer selection is the best anywhere around this area. Brandon made sure we always had everything we needed. Service was prompt, food was hot and delicious, prices were reasonable. We are so glad we found this go to place for anytime and not just happy hour. They have brought Burger Night back on Monday.“

“Stopped in for a cocktail after work on Thursday. I sat at the bar. There is also table seating in the main room and high top tables by the bar. They also have a nice sized patio, but try it was cold out, so empty. The place was reasonably but not too crowded. Had four mixed drinks, a burger and onion rings. Definitely good for bar food, although the burger was a little over done. Drinks weren't too strong but surprisingly cheap for call liquor. Two bartenders were busy but kept my cocktails fresh. I would definitely go there again. Clientele seems to be a lot of repeat regulars, but it didn't feel weird.“

“Nobody does it like Ray's. I moved away after HS for college and went on to live in both Southern and Northern California and Tennessee (Nashville) for years, not to mention traveling about the country +'world. When I'm home visiting my family, though, I always hit up Ray's because it's still the best I've found anywhere, not to be missed. I seriously go here an embarrassing number of times a week in the summer, whenever I'm in town. Especially as these summers get hotter and hotter , it's ultimately more of an excuse for me to head to Ray's for a Ray's Rocket. The water ice is delicious and the flavors are fun and tasty. I prefer the citrus flavors, primarily tangerine and lemon, but I've tasted most of them and have yet to taste one I don't like. I get the vanilla custard and it is SOOO good. Best custard ever. “This restaurant had amazing staff! They are so nice and patient. When I made a few jokes she was very open and loose. Plus, the food was sooo good! When my waiter asked for my meat pink or no I said yes. It came back with pink ALL inside. Not just little bits and sides it was very flavorful and delicious! The restaurant is very clean and decorative! Guacamole was very good! It actually had flavor! The chicken patty my friend ordered was so good even if it was just a CHICKEN. Their Mac and cheese was sooo good, it came out hot and was so delicious! If you want a good quick brunch I Highly recommend!!“

Goes to show that good things come to customers who give in and are flexible. Because I was willing to sit at the bar even though I did have a reservation, I got a free drink in return.
