“The Copper Mine at Wintergreen was “temporarily” closed in 2020 during the pandemic. Now, at the end of 2022, it remains closed. It is still set up as a restaurant; the signs remain and it is still on the Wintergreen website. Nearly every other restaurant at Wintergreen has reopened. No one has presented a good explanation why the Copper Mine remains closed. I frequented this restaurant many times in the past and hope to visit again, someday.“

The very first time we went were expecting a low key dinner with drinks and instead showed up to a festival with a couple hundred people. Good times lolOverall the vibe varies depending on the crowd.
