“After a tough three day hike conquering the Triple Crown of Virginia, the River Rock burgers hit the spot. I think it's by far the best burger I've ever had. Sit and view the mallard ducks paddling in the flowing river with a frosty cold beer, life can't get any better.“
“One of the best food places in Salem. It's cheap, quick, and probably the best hotdogs I have ever had. It gives sports game food stand, which I'm a huge fan of. I do think tho the location and parking suck. I almost missed the place because a truck was parked next to it. I do recommend dropping in at some point and giving it a shot.“
“Recommend by a coworker and was not disappointed. The portions are huge but they give you reheat instructions. Everything is made to order and it was fantastic. I got the buffalo chicken on regular French fries with the fried chicken tenders. The chicken was delicious and the toppings complimented the whole thing. We were greeted immediately and they gave us a rundown on how things work. Super nice staff and felt very welcomed there. The inside is pretty small but the seating is spaced out nicely and they even have bar style seating. Super cute inside as well! I will definitely be going back!“

“Fresh in from Atlanta & all I kept hearing about was the famous Hot Smokes at Dillions!!! Had to try it! Gave it a 10 out of 10 & the fries were A1 to!!!! Grandmas Sour cream pound cake was some of the best I've had in my life!!!! Staff treated me like I was family & it was my 1st time meeting them! Food was cooked to order! Next time I'm in town I'm trying everything on the Menu!!!!“
“Not from here and just passing through. stopped here for a quick bite. Service was fast and kind. Great people. Even better hot dogs. The hot dog chili sauce was awesome. There is nothing comparable near me. Fries were fresh and crispy. Sweet tea was on point. Grabbed a cookie bar on impulse for a little extra road snack later. Everything was great. I wish I lived closer.“
“My wife and I had the hot dog special for lunch. They were delicious and price was very reasonable. The service was fast and efficient. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and courteous! We also had a peanut butter cookie and a lemon cookie which were delicious also! We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch experience and highly recommend Apperson Cafe!“
