“We were taken to the restaurant whilst staying with new friends local to the area and to get to listen to the wonderful singer Annalyse Marie who was singing at the restaurant for the evening. - the restaurant Gusto is really wonderful with caring thoughtful staff but I have to say the food was truly wonderful ! I had the chicken bacon and Ranch Pizza and certainly never had this topping on a pizza before but thought why not give it a try ! I honestly with hand on my heart think this is the best pizza I have ever had in my life ! It was utterly delicious ! The right amount of cheese and sauce and a little messy but so worth it ! I keep dreaming about the pizza ever since ! I don’t think anywhere could beat how tasty this pizza was ! What a wonderful restaurant and if I wasn’t on a big trip I would absolutely return for more ! If you haven’t been to Gusto’s you’re missing out !”
“We always stop by Joe's Deli when we travel through the area. The first thing you will notice about the sandwiches is how heavy they are in your hands and once you unwrap the sandwiches you will see the amount of goodness it is in each sandwich. You will not be hungry after the sandwiches (if you can finish it!!).We have tried various types of sandwiches and honestly they are all good and well made sandwiches. Highly recommend you stop by Joe's Deli for some hearty and tasty sandwiches!”
“Must have to try!!!! Best food ever... good prices.. friendly staff.. found our new go to restraunt!!!! Tivoli KEEP UP the amazing food and work ! We will be spending the word around that yall are great!”
“Every Tuesday $1 street tacos! Pork carnitas or chicken. These are the smaller tacos but very filling. A child would be happy eating one. An adult would be happy eating four. Authentic and delicious food. Staff is super friendly! Love this place. Limited seating. Maybe six booths but I like how cozy it is. Great for take out. They are super fast. Make sure and tip them well especially on Taco Tuesday and definitely try the Mexican chili oil on your tacos if you like spice.Parking: If parking lot is full there is tons of street parking.”
“My husband and I went in to try some lunch one day and it was absolutely delicious. We went back the next day to try the breakfast and it was hands down the best breakfast. We've now taken our family with us and every time we ask the kids where they want to eat, they always pick Chip and Jo's. Great food, great service. It's hard to find good food and good service like this anymore. We highly recommend!”
“Abrakababra is a hidden gem. If you love Mediterranean food - especially gyros and Greek salads - as much as I do, this is your kinda place. This small business uses fresh ingredients, friendly service, and good portion sizes. I enjoyed the chicken special, which came with delicious marinated chicken, salad, rice, and the Greek dressing and a very tasty tzaiki sauce. I highly recommend Abrakababra. They accept Visa and Mastercard for my cashless people. Also, how can you not love the name?Parking: Just pull up next to the building and park alongside. This is a grab and go place.”
“Stopped in this past Friday night. I enjoyed the seltzers while my husband liked his beers. Great live music and wasn't too loud. Really enjoyed getting to have Franks Pizza delivered too!”
“Got a take-out Supreme pizza and wings. My husband loved the pizza, it was pretty sturdy with all of the toppings, good crust, and floppy towards the center. Now I'm not a floppy pizza girly and I'm still on the search for a good thin crust but I did devour all the leftovers in the fridge once the pizza fully hardened up. Maybe I'm just a gremlin who doesn't understand pizza, but I do understand wings and they were just awful so took off a star for that. Way too crunchy, felt like eating a dried up rock that was deep fried with runny ranch. Get the pizza!?”
“It's tough to say which pizza place is my favorite in the Roanoke area, but I gotta say that Leonore's Pizza on Apperson is soooo delicious, and at the top of my list for best pizza in our area. Not only is their food great, but the owner is always very friendly and polite. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend!”
“I visited Parkway Brewing Co in Salem, VA on a Friday evening in October 2014. The place was lively with live music, delicious pizza, and great beer. Although the selection for takeout was somewhat limited, they had at least 8 different beers on tap. The facilities were impressive, with brewing equipment visible inside and a spacious patio outside. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would love to return.”
“Finally tried Frank's after 7 years in salem. We're pretty fussy about pizza, so it takes a bit to spend on something that might be terrible. Frank's was great. No soggy spot in the middle. Crust was perfect!”
“This place is a fantastic find as we traveled south. I've pinned it to our next trip south so that we can experience something new next visit. The food and craft beer were spot on. Can't wait for our next visit!Parking: Plan ahead, they get busy during the dinner rush. It's still well worth the wait. Your not going to find any better for at least a hundred miles.”
“Been eating here for nearly 20 years. Good food and fast and always hot. Never have to wait long for me food even when they are slammed. I have waited longer at so called fastfood places that were not even half as busy for my ”
“I ordered by phone to deliver to my daughter. My daughter was so please with the food quality. On the second occasion my daughter was not at home. She pickup the food after work and told me that everyone at Aly Baba was so nice.”
“Just, wow..in the best way possible... The worst part about coming to this wonderful establishment, will be trying to decide what you want to eat. I found myself ogling other folks' plates, as they were all so appealing as they came out of the kitchen. First off, I can't say enough about the people..just friendly as can be. Attentive...genuinely good people ❤️. I went with the fried catfish, and couldn't have been more pleased. The breading was perfect..crispy, flavorful, not greasy at all. The sides are equally loaded with flavor.. I went with the collards (and they are done right ?), mashed potatoes and gravy, and the mac and cheese..and sweet cornbread to boot (not overly sweet, and so moist). The ribs were/are equally delectable.. Solid southern comfort food, period. 10/10... spread the word, tell your friends..this place is a gem. I'm kicking myself for not having tried it earlier...had heard nothing but good things...and the reviews don't lie..can't say enough good things about these folks.. Thank yall so much, and can't wait to get back to try the rest of the menu. Oh, solid banana pudding, and next time it'll be the cobbler.”
