“My coffee wasn’t hot and my lunch meal was missing my spring roll.. but I never saw my server again. The Saigon spicy vegetable tofu was sooo delicious though that I’m willing to look past that ?Vegetarian options: A whole vegetarian menu! ?“
“Upon first arriving we were ushered into a booth held together with duct tape that needed a new piece of tape. The sauce bottles on our table needed a good wipe down as well, but from the looks of others enjoying their meals the main focus was certainly the food, not so much the front of the house. The gentleman running the register quickly sat us and asked us if we had been there before and proceeded to get us water. My daughter wanted a Sprite but he never asked if we wanted anything else so we went with the water, served up in glasses that looked like they came from my grandmothers kitchen. Suffice to say I was a little more than concerned as to the possibility of quality coming from the kitchen, especially after we asked about the lunch combo to be told there was no combo offered that day. Upon placing our order the service and expertise picked up and my daughter's meal selection was changed to allow here to enjoy a different cut of pork versus what she ordered. She ordered a shrimp and pork dish but upon recommendation ordered the grilled pork chop platter dish, #22 CO'M SU'ON. She was thrilled with the selection and it was a served up piping hot and quite delicious. The pork had a wonderful char to it, with a sticky sweet sauce that she absolutely loved. The portion was huge and came garnished with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers on a bed of fresh lettuce. I had a hard time getting a picture right away as she cut into it as soon as it was placed in front of her. My wife and I each ordered Beef Noodle Soup, I ordered #61 TAI NAM VE DON with steak, flank and skirt steak and my wife ordered #68 TAI with steak. The portions that arrived were quite large, (and they were the small bowls), served up with fresh basil, bean sprouts and sliced jalapeño. The broth was outstanding and the thinly sliced steak was flavorful, tender and delicious. The entire presentation was pleasing to the eye, nose and mouth and pushed any ambiance issues aside as we enjoyed some really wonderful Pho Bo. Everything was fresh, delicious and professionally prepared and we plan on stopping back soon for another wonderful lunch!“
“There a lot of pho restaurants and it is very hard to discern the differences between them. It really just comes down to personal preferences when it comes to the which pho shop is the best. Teabreak has certainly become my favorite pho/noodle shop in the entire northern Virginia area - why?Well, Teabreak has 2 standout menu items I cannot find anywhere else (except Eden Center in Annandale but the traffic is just too unbearable at times). These are (a) weekend only 'Hue Style Spicy Noodle Soup' which comes with many yummy meat cuts and pork blood-cakes!! and (b) flan with coffee jelly boba. These two items are ridiculously tasty and unforgettable. Why aren't don't we have more places that add blood-cakes to noodle bowls ..... and why aren't we all adding coffee jelly as a toping to cakes, flans, meringues, and other desserts! Kudos for Teabreak for staying true to innovation and tradition.“
“Simple and easy service, take a quick look at the menu featuring classic Vietnamese dishes and order away. We enjoyed the grilled shrimp meal complete with a mini bowl of pho to wash the rice down. The place is hidden off the main road, keeping the vibes chill and quiet.“
“Just looking at the picture I took has me carving for more. I got garden tofu roll and garlic steak over rice. The fried egg is not included by the way. You pay extra if you want it. The meal was nicely proportioned. Steak cooked perfectly in my opinion. Come with a salad. I demolished this this food. Love it! Quick service. I got my meal less than 15 minutes. Can’t wait to go back for me!“
