“My wife brought a "no sugar added" apple pie home to WV. She wasn't planning on buying it but our 3yo granddaughter decided to poke her finger through the wrap to sample a taste. Unfortunately, the pie was disappointing as it was 90% filling and 10% apples. We will not be eating anymore of it after one piece. I can't speak to their other baked goods but I would not recommend fruit pies if this one is typical.”

“Pumpkin Delights: Spoiler alert, these are my favorite seasonal snack from Little Debbie. They’re soft, chewy, sweet, and full of delicious pumpkin flavor (along with hints of cinnamon/spice). Basically, they are a pumpkin flavored cookie. Thankfully the “spice” flavor is muted and not in your face or burning (I prefer less spice and more of a pumpkin pie flavor to my pumpkin treats). The orange gel used for the eyes and mouth had just a hint of pumpkin flavor, but it’s more for decoration/aesthetics. Some of the cookies were done very well with the eyes and mouth looking just like on the box, but a few looked pretty bad (too scary to show). They pair great with a cup of pumpkin spice coffee or be like the Doughboy and take these cookies up a notch by adding cream cheese frosting to them. Not a frosting person? They also pair nicely with a scoop of pumpkin ice cream to create your own seasonal Pizookie.

“First time I’ve had blimpies in years! Still great sandwiches! I drove 45 mins to get to this location(the closest one to me) and the food was great and the staff was so friendly and professional. The 2 gentleman that helped us was fantastic! This management should be proud of the staff the have!:)”

“My favorite place for Chinese! This is my husband and I's go to for Chinese food, even though it is 30+ minutes from where we live, we love to get it while we're in town. The food is always delicious, and the portions are great sizes. The owners recognize us when we come in and are friendly. We love the peanut chicken and chicken lo mein the best!”

“Edit. 6/6/24 The GM reached out and corrected everything gave me a full refund. I ordered a shake to try out a peanut butter shake and it was delicious. Thank you for correcting this. I have several things to talk about. I ordered 2 meals, a kids meal, and a blizzard. Almost 40 bucks. So that's an issue by itself. I specifically requested the burger only have ketchup. It's even on the receipt. It came with mustard and pickles. Not a huge deal. But annoying. I ordered 2 sodas as well. NEITHER of then had syrup. It was just carbonated water. Like I ordered a Dr pepper. It was clear. Make that make sense. I ordered a dilly bar. They gave me a sugar free one. Wtf. I'm 195 and 6"2' and pretty active. I don't need help with my one cheat meal a week. I also ordered a burger with a single patty. They gave me a double and charged me for a double. So quick recap. I paid almost 40 bucks for HALF of my order to be completely wrong and 1/4 of the order to be inedible. So I'm kinda pissed off as we don't grab fast food a lot. This just reinforces not going anywhere.”

“Just finished a great lunch here. We settled in outside, Calvin took our order and shortly brought it to the table. A warm summer drizzle added to the ambiance under the wide table umbrella. After the second bite, the torrent hit and Calvin appeared to hustle us and our meals indoors to dryer accomodations. Thank you, Calvin for great service!!! And the chef is appreciated too as the food was first rate.”

“I hadn't had much Salvadoran cuisine before and this was an amazing intro! Everything was very well-prepared and clearly homemade. The pupusas were really flavorful and the horchata was authentic. “Me and my fiancée stopped in here for lunch a few days ago on a lark because we hadn't had much Cuban food, and it was far superior to what we had anticipated. Friendly staff, quick service for our food, and it was all phenomenal. I ordered the cuban sandwich and fries while my fiancee ordered the half chicken and yellow rice, and it was all amazing. “We just had an excellent dinning experience for our family Christmas dinner. Staunton was a greet meeting spot for our family to all gather. It was all perfectly done. Even though we had some guests show up late the staff was super accommodating and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the best short rib dish I have ever had. The salmon was cooked perfectly with a very delightful cream sauce. The mushroom ravioli was also excellent. All portions were generous but also balanced. The service was great all the staff was so pleasant and everyone seems to enjoy what they were doing. The wine was excellent and the bar made excellent classic cocktails including a manhattan. Everyone should try Queen City bistro! I can’t wait to come back!”
