“We called in for a last minute dinner reservations, the staff was kind enough to squeeze our party into a table. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server, Han Min Kim, who is one of the friendliest and most professional servers we’ve encountered. The food and ambiance are good, showing a particular attention that goes above and beyond most other Asian chain restaurants.“
“Dining at this Korean bbq for the first time. We had a large party and we were able to get reservation on the same day and it was on a Saturday. When we arrived we were immediately seated. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The food came out relatively quick and as we were grilling the food our waiter came back to check on us to put in our next order so by the time we got done with our current order on the grill the next batch of food came out and not waste any time since we get like 1.5 hrs of dining time. My favorite was the beef soup with daikon. It was by far the best one I’ve had so far among all the k bbq I went to. The fatty beef was also my favorite and the honey butter squid. They also have a masala chicken which taste like curry but it’s decent and the pork belly marinated in cumin. I would definitely come back to this place when i visit VA next trip.“
“I will say this is biased bc the one in Orlando is amazing! But I didn't fully enjoy my hotpot base and the appetizer bar was limited but still tasty. You truly can't go wrong with kpot though and we still enjoyed our food. I got a taro boba to go and was hoping for regular boba but instead received lychee jelly at the bottom. Not a big deal but would have loved to have the choice.“
“The service is soooooo nice!! Even though they don't have dessert on the menu, when someone at my table mentioned it was my birthday all the workers came out with a candle in a cookie and sang happy birthday. The food is good and really reasonably priced! Definitely worth a visit!! Don't be afraid to ask for more wraps/sauce/anything because they will give you larger portions of the sides!“
“Second time coming here. Even with a reservation you may be waiting a while for a table to open up. It is very busy and there is no place to really stand or sit while waiting. The short rib and the spicy bulgogi are the real highlights here. The cheese corn is more for aesthetics. The side dishes are nice. This place isn’t as big as other Korean bbq places and it doesn’t have much of an ambience or nice decorations.Parking: Not that much parking out front.“
“The service here is wonderful! When the server brought over our meat selection, we were informed that their policy has changed, and they do not cook for the table. I explained to the staff that we were not comfortable in cooking for ourselves, and had I known that their policy had changed, we would not have came. The staff was so wonderful and accommodated our request. Thankfully it was Super Bowl Sunday and the restaurant was quite empty. The service was quick and everything was delicious. But have to cook on your own. It’s a bummer that their policy had changed and I likely won’t return here again. But will still recommend it to others who don’t mind the cooking part of the experience.“
“Came here for my birthday. We had a large party of 13 and were able to be in a semi private room since it wasn’t busy. (Came on a Sunday at 1)The service was GREAT! Our servers cooked the meat for us and always refilled what we needed. The rice is not included so it’s an extra charge if you ask for it.Our server was named Kevin and he thankfully was kind enough to help us split the checks. Which I know is not common bc it’s such a hassle. But I am so thankful that he was willing to do that for us.We came with babies (under 1) and the only bad part about our dining experience was the fact that they DIDNT HAVE A DIAPER CHANGING TABLE in the bathroom. ?Was never a problem until I had a baby but it would be nice if they could add that to their restrooms for parents with younger children.Parking: The restaurant was only about half full at the time we went and one of our friends had trouble finding parking they had to drive in circles for a while.Kid-friendliness: No diaper changing table“
“I went with my friends, and the part-time workers were very friendly and they cooked the meat well. We ate well without any inconvenience and had a good time. It costs about $20 for lunch, but it's really nice because there's unlimited meat. I go here often. Also, it was my friend's birthday who was a regular, and he also wished me a happy birthday. YesParking: There's plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: I had a meal with two children.“
“We got the beef and pork combo for 6 people and it was the perfect amount of food for all of us. The waiter was very helpful and told us the cook times for each of the meats. Our favorite was the brisket and the bulgogi. It was sort of empty and we didn't need a reservation but we made one anyways and they had everything ready for us when we got there. Absolutely perfect experience“
“I've had good experiences with this place and always order from here when I go to this HMart. We have tried the soups to the stir fry's and they have all been good. I'm not sure what people expect from a food stall in a grocery store! For what it is, it's pretty good.“
“I would give this place infinite stars if I could!! Alfred is the best! I came here with my friends for my birthday dinner and had the best experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant is amazing. Very clean, elegant decor, amazing music, and great customer service. The food came out right away and our servers were very kind and accommodated our party very attentively. The food was unreal - this is hands down the best kbbq I’ve ever had. Their meat is high quality, tender, juicy, flavorful, and so much more. There are many different types of banchan to choose from. The kimchi is also super good, so you know this place is good too!! Will definitely be returning. Fantastic value for the price. Thank you Alfred!“
“We had the ribs and bulgogi for lunch. The ribs were marinated well and cooked to perfection as was the bulgogi. We got take out so I bet eating it there would have been even tastier! I’ll be back for sure. Portions are big so we could have split one item but I’m not upset to have the leftovers :)“
“A taste of Seoul in Annandale. Always a great time, good food and casual atmosphere. The first time I walked in and saw the layout and decor, I was deeply reminded of being in Seoul. The food is terrific and they offer a wide variety of Korean food. My children love watching the meal being cooked right in front of you. The service is always great even when they are extremely busy, which is quite often. They also have bubble tea, which my children enjoy. I highly recommend Honey Pig.Parking: Flat lot out front with quite a few spots.Kid-friendliness: Not only kid friendly l, my daughters love watching the food being cooked.Wheelchair accessibility: On the first floor and completely wheelchair accessible.“
“Food was delicious but the staff weren't very attentive so getting a refill or anything like that was a challenge, however they were super busy so I'm sure that's part of the issue. Definitely a very fun dining experience. The lighting is very nice.Vegetarian options: Theres vegetarian options but not many. You pay a flat price per person so it's not really worth it unless you're going to eat meats since that's most of the menu.Parking: Large open parking lot“
“I have been here two times and it has been exceptionally good. One thing I want to mention is I loved the mushroom sauce that they had with their meats. The second time I came they told me that they took it out because people “complained” about the mushroom sauce. I would just like to say to those people who hate mushrooms to grow up please and I would love for them to bring it back. Our waiters every time have been polite with great service by the way.“
