Great place to eat. Love the lunch specials. Lot of variety.
Best Asian Cuisine in Virginia Beach, everything tastes so authentic from the sauces to all the dishes.
I was excited to see they had general shrimp on the menu. I ordered it and it tasted a little freezer burnt. I sent it back and got chicken instead. The manager was accommodating and I appreciate that. I would recommend this place, seems like a nice vibe.

Forbidden Palace Chinese Bar & Bistro is a surprisingly spacious restaurant featuring a unique space-themed mural on its walls. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, from dim sum to sushi, catering to diverse tastes. The almond chicken and orange chicken are tasty, while the potstickers are extraordinary. The Peking duck with bao buns is a must-try, and the lettuce wraps are excellent. The food is well prepared and delicious, exceeding expectations. The service is exceptional, with friendly and welcoming servers who create a calm atmosphere, even with families dining. The staff is amazing, including Jim, who has received particular praise. The happy hour food and drinks help with the prices, and robots add a fun touch to the service. The restaurant has a large bar, ample seating, and TVs showing sports and news channels, making it a great spot for a date night or a casual meal. With its unique decor and consistently great food, Forbidden Palace is definitely worth a visit and a sanctuary that keeps customers coming back.
