“First time ever going . From walking into the doors to leaving . We had nothing but great customer service . We didn’t make reservations and had a seat for 7 ready in 10 minutes . While they were already busy . Everyone was friendly . Our server was new but wouldn’t know it because she was great . Our chef was AMAZING ! Everyone LOVED him. Food was PREFECT! All of kids had a blast . The shims catching in the mouth game was a big hit . My youngest daughter was glued the whole time and already asking to go back to see fire and the nice food man. Even leaving the host was taking to my 9 month old son. While going to my car to feed to my son one of the workers even offered to let me feed in his office because it’s cold out . I just loved the family vibe . I highly recommend if you are looking for a great place . Also sushi was on point too! Nothing but positive feed back here . “we come here once a week and when I tell you, the food is absolutely amazing every single time we come the food is so good. We always do takeout fresh and flavorful bursting with so many different flavors and the vegetables always cook perfectly but one thing I will always say is I get told to come pick it up in 10 minutes and I’m standing there for 45 minutes waiting for my food to be done and I feel like they’re kind of overpriced because of the fact that sometimes we don’t want vegetables but we still get charged for it when other meals if you don’t want vegetables, you can ask for double rice or double meat or they’ll take a couple dollars off for the vegetables. The lady in the front does not know what she’s doing at all. I asked for Yum Yum sauce and she gave me spicy mayo when I get home I would sit, but it is what it is other than that the food is great atmosphere is terrible. It’s very dirty in there. When you walk in the tables are never cleaned and the manager is just very rude all the time.“

The service was great too, the waitress is very kind and brought us free miso soup to apologize for the long wait due to a lot of people coming to the restaurant. The food is great I couldn't wait to take a picture before I had some to eat first. We got the unagi, California, rainbow and Virginia rolls and the sashimi appetizers and we loved all of them. “The place is clean, a few tables, fountain, can, and bottle drinks available. Sauces, plastic ware, and napkins next to the fountain drinks. Very organized but the napkins are the typical cheap ones, sandpaper like type.
The food comes out pretty quick. Tried the chicken hibachi with rice & veggies and it was a pretty good size and tasted excellent.
The salmon roll was pretty good for a place like this, generous with the salmon for sure.
Prices are definitely fair, a hibachi dinner and a drink for about twelve bucks after tax.
Will definitely try them again.“

“Whenever I visit VB, I like to stop into Ouka Sora because it is my favorite Ramen shop. It's the only one I've been to that has an easy menu kiosk. The shop is bright and clean, and their service is quick and friendly! The food is always hot and tastes excellent! Ive been visiting for a few years now and I've never had a bad experience. I really hope the owners consider opening another location in Hampton or Newport News. Hint hint! 😉“
