“I have been going here for years! Love the food and the owner is an amazingly kind guy who treats every customer with respect and professionalism. Did I mention the food is amazing! I have eaten everything on the menu and never dissatisfied. Def try the Cassava leaf with goat meat or the Egusi stew with banku! And all soups are delicious. The food can be definitely be considered comfort food.“
“What a pleasant surprise!!! I had to go over to Quantico & my wife said grab something on the way home. So I chose The Family Eatery, only because I parked beside the restaurant. I ordered Curry Chicken & Ox Tail. Mmmm, I will have to say this place is my new favorite Carribean restaurant in Prince William Co.. The staff was SUPER friendly & most of all the food was plentiful & DELICIOUS. Unfortunately it's off the beaten path, but do recommend.“
“After seeing the chef/owner on The Best Thing I Ever Ate yesterday, my daughter decided we should visit while in the DC area for Spring Break. We could here the DJ spinning the 90's to present from the front patio section. The nostalgia, for me was evident. A drawback was the amount of time to be seated because there was no hostess at the front. The crab blt was sold out - the entree my daughter wanted. She had a burger instead but the shrimp was missing and brought out later. My salmon, crab, shrimp, spinach w/ cheesy grits were amazing.“
“Holy Portion sizes!! Was getting aome work done to my vehicle so i took a walk and came upon this place. Its in a strip mall right on the main drag but if you blink you'll miss it. The gentleman and lady working inside were super nice and promptly got to work on my order. After I ordered the catfish and fries, he told me the total was 21.99 which made me think it was a bit high but oh well. When he brought it to the table I understood why it was 22 bucks. There was so much food! I have been to so many other places that would charge double for the amount of food that they brought to me. It was freshly made to order, seasoned, and crispy, and I enjoyed every bit of it. If im ever back in the area im going to try them again, but will bring a friend to make sure we can eat it all.“
