“Still my favorite restaurant in Burlington after many years. Revisited last week for the first time in a couple of years and everything was phenomenal. The menu is ever changing but some classics remain - the muhamarra and baba ganoush served with warm pita are perfect. Also have been dreaming of the halloumi. Even my extremely picky eating 15 year old brother tried and loved almost everything which is a huge testament to this place. Order as many dishes as you can and savor each bite!“
“I am such a finicky eater...but when I tried the steak kabob I absolutely loved it!! I have been eating here for years and haven't found anything on the menu that wasn't great!! The older gentleman that I thought was the owner but isn't just works all the time is outstanding!! Such a great attitude, super quick at preparing the food, funny and makes sure his customers are well taken care of!! If u haven't tried this place I absolutely implore u to!! You won't regret it!!“
“This place has been a go to every farmers market this summer! They are super nice, and the food is delicious. I am sad that the summer farmers market is over in Burlington, but I am sure to visit their store this winter! I will need to get my awesome Anatolian food fix somehow. ^_^“
“First of all definitely get their chicken shawarma wrap ? it had a nice grilled flavor and the wrap was crispy which I really enjoyed. Not a big fan of their shashouka, I much prefer Vergennes Laundry's version. The potato wedges looks really good, but I felt like it could be better if it was cripier instead of tasting more like boiled potatoes with some spices around it.It was my first time visiting The Grey Jay since they opened. The decor and energy is not as vibrant and personable as I like, especially when compared to other places like Zabby & Elf. But I enjoyed their wrap so will visit again to try some other things. For what you are paying, I think there's value compared to other places. One ding against them was the coffee drinks, ordered the Tahini Iced Coffee and it was well not very good and not worth $7. I do think their drip coffee is tastier than other places where it tastes like burnt rubber or tire, but again I enjoy drinking straight black coffee so keep that in mind. I would probably stay away from the mixed coffee drinks and maybe try their pastries which I didn't get to do.“
