“WHAT A VIBE!!!!! Super chill and relaxed atmosphere in the basement. There is tons of wall art, signs, stickers, and old boards to look at while hanging. Theres also pool tables and foosball!! It's definitely a perfect place to grab a drink after a long day on the mountain.I'm sure this spot gets rowdy at night, but I've never hung around long enough to find out. Come just for a beer and the apres ski experience, you will not be disappointed!!!!!Oh, and the whole place has cheetah carpet!! I mean... need I say more?Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Must show ID.Wheelchair accessibility: Did not appear wheelchair accessible that I could tell. The entrance is going down a bunch of steps into the basement. It is possible there is an elevator, but doubt it.”
“Stayed in Vermont for a few days with the family. It was challenging to find places to eat as many were closed on Monday, Tuesdays and/or Wednesday's. Mulligans was open on a Monday so we decided to give it a try! It's located in the Stratton Mountain resort, in an area known as "Stratton Village" and it is, as You can imagine from the name, a pub with pub food....and then some. There was outdoor, covered patio seating, but we choose to eat indoor as it was rainy and humid. We were promptly greeted and seated. For one of the few places open on a Monday, it was busy, but not overly so. We started with the pretzel sticks and nachos. Plenty for 5 people. The nachos were huge and loaded. Dinner included the lobster special (2, 1.25 pounders, steamed for $28) which were enjoyed. I had the salmon salad, which was...okay....the salmon was over cooked, which I find typical at most restaurants. The salad was ample, but lightly dressed. Other orders included cheeseburger and fries, chicken wings (plain) and warm lobster roll, which, like the steamed lobster special, was ample, and delicious. The service was delightful, by a very accommodating server named "Susan" who was friendly, attentive and just an all around nice lady. We had fun, we left full, with leftovers and a good time was had by all....and we were thankful they were open on a Monday!!”
“We visited Solo Farm and Table as part of a group of six on a busy Thursday night at the end of October. We were served a set menu of seasonal ingredients, many local and some from the restaurant’s garden, in a beautiful, 19th Century in, cooked with skill and presented with care. Some of our party struggled with the lack of choice, but what we were served was fabulous. A tomato amuse bouche and a squid ink dish will live long in the memory. It was the best meal we ate in our trip through Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. What really stood out though was the joy all the staff brought to their work. This is a wonderful establishment and the team is clearly and justifiably proud of what they serve. It was a privilege to share in it.”

“Creative seasonal menu of delicious fare using lots of local products and prepared with a step above twist! The burgers, saison fries, shorty (shortrib) pie and house chips with VT cheddar cauliflower dip are staples and the seasonal specials, salads and soups never disappoint. Oh, and that Whiskey cake!”

“Overall, this isn’t a bad substitute for a Chipotle kind of restaurant in the area. I got a burrito bowl and while it was a bit pricey, the food was good and the staff were super friendly. I also appreciated the multitude of drink options.”

“Great food, came out with minimal wait time. Taste was awesome! I went to order a large fries. I'm glad she explained a large is a full tray of fries. A small is more than enough. The background music was a bit high for normal conversation is my only complaint.”

“Nice little spot near center of town. Didn't try the pastries but they all looked wonderful. We had a sandwich which was rather delicious. It escapes me which one it was right now as I am writing my review a week later, so my apologies. Along with the sandwich we had some limeade, also delicious.”

“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.”

“Stopped by for a quick breakfast on our way out of town. Delicious sandwiches and iced coffee with iced coffee cubes! Ate lunch on the back deck looking over the river. Great food in a beautiful setting :)”
“Fantastic selection, good prices for all varieties of fish and some shellfish. Wish there were more oyster varieties but we're in Vermont, not the cape so I guess I'm just spoiled.”

“This place makes me want to wake up early for breakfast. The service was great, the atmosphere was cute, and the food made me so happy. The omelette with potatoes was crispy and juicy. The buttered sourdough bread was so savory and then adding their raspberry jam changed the flavor profile into sweet crunch that made me want to order more toast. The French toast was probably the best I’ve ever had and the warm maple syrup which was a new experience was probably the best way to have maple syrup.”
“Title: A Sweet Treat at Grandma Miller's!Review:Grandma Miller's is a delightful pastry store that truly knows its craft. We tried an array of their offerings including coconut chocolate chip, raspberry horn, donuts, and a lemon scone. Each item was a burst of freshness and flavor, clearly made with love and care. The coconut chocolate chip was a perfect blend of tropical and sweet, while the raspberry horn was tantalizingly tangy. Their donuts were light and fluffy, and the lemon scone had just the right amount of zest. We couldn't resist taking some of their delicious cake and chocolate chip cookies for the road. The cozy seating area inside added to the charm, making our visit even more enjoyable. A must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth!”
“Quintessential VT dining at its finest... Would love to enjoy the Inn when the opportunity strikes, but the restaurant experience was an amazing first impression”

“Wonderful food and owners! Try this place! I've eaten there several times and love it. As far as I know they are still set up in the Orvis parking lot. (The main store, not the outlet.)”

“Read the reviews and this is one place which was highly recommended by various people. Had to check it out and so we went. Service was first rate. Our waitress was great and attentive. We started with complimentary cranberry fritters with butter. Then a beautiful garden salad with balsamic. With the salad came Italian bread. We had the best lobster Mac and cheese as appetizer. Absolutely fabulous. Main course was pork Schnitzel and my wife ordered baked Scrod. Both great choices. We were both stuffed and had to skip dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience. Great food and amazing service. A must visit when you’re in the area.Parking: Ample space.Kid-friendliness: Not really. Tight space inside”

“If you're looking for a great greasy burger you can't go wrong here with anything on the menu. The pie is also fabulous, if I'm picking up dessert to bring to someone's house, this is my go to. The best way I've heard the pie described is it is kind of like a caramel custard.”
“Diamond pool table in great condition... Need I say more? Home vibes with fire place, and puppies running around Nice ambience with dive bar prices. Only reason it's not a 5 star, is cuz they charge $2 for ice cubes...”

“I went here for dinner one night not really knowing what to expect and thought maybe I’d have trouble being seated because it was like an hour before closing and it was packed. However, I was seated very promptly and had a very helpful and friendly server. The food was okay, and in my opinion isn’t going to knock anyone’s socks off. I had green beans and rice with my steak and neither were very flavorful at all, and the steak was a bit chewy though it was cooked correctly. I either got a bad cut or maybe it’s the quality of the meat they get - not sure. I also received plain white bread which was fine. The salad and beer were good.Overall, the place was decent and I’d definitely come back to see what else they have to offer if I’m in the area.”

“Super accommodating, party of 12 phone in same day. You can tell this is the locals place. Food was surprisingly good. Mac n Cheese bites were gone in seconds. Chowder exceeded my expectations and was very large! Brownie Sunday was a tad dry and wasn't "sizzling" the time it got to table. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and prime rib. Stacey, are server, did a fantastic job!”
