“I was a bit hesitant after reading some the bad reviews. However our experience was the opposite. We made reservations several weeks ahead of time, and were seated immediately. Service was excellent, food was very fresh and had excellent flavor. NYC prices for sure, it wasn't a bargain, but I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.“

“I have eaten here in the past and it was fine, but my most recent trip was excellent. The restaurant seems to be under new leadership. The menu is great, service exceptional, and food was perfect. I ordered the strip steak and asked for it to be cooked a very particular way. I rarely order steak at a restaurant unless I know for sure it will be great, but I took a chance this time based on the recommendation of the server. The steak was prepared exactly as I asked it to be. But on top of that, the meat was really special. A strip steak is usually a little on the tougher side compared with a ribeye and filet, but this one had the texture of a filet and the taste of a strip. It was also prepared in a way that indicates they are doing something special behind the curtain. They have a flame grill but there was a crust on my steak that indicated they were doing something more than simply grilling it. Maybe it was a butter bath, or the seasoning, but whatever they did it was amazing. It was also a very clean piece of meat, no chewy bits, the fat was trimmed, and it just looked beautiful on the plate. I wish I had taken a photo. Overall, a great experience.“

“Creative seasonal menu of delicious fare using lots of local products and prepared with a step above twist! The burgers, saison fries, shorty (shortrib) pie and house chips with VT cheddar cauliflower dip are staples and the seasonal specials, salads and soups never disappoint. Oh, and that Whiskey cake!“

“Cozy restaurant in Vermont close by Mount Snow. We ordered a wide selection of appetizers and entrees and everything was great. The appetizers came quickly. The fried pickles and Wu Tang wings were solid (they can make the Wu Tang Sauce Mild or Spicy). The Golden Bubble White Flatbread was tasty as well. The Dark & Stormy cocktail and grapefruit mule were fantastic. The waitresses checked on our table a few times and helped us find the bathroom. The place was great for a casual dinner.“

“Read the reviews and this is one place which was highly recommended by various people. Had to check it out and so we went. Service was first rate. Our waitress was great and attentive. We started with complimentary cranberry fritters with butter. Then a beautiful garden salad with balsamic. With the salad came Italian bread. We had the best lobster Mac and cheese as appetizer. Absolutely fabulous. Main course was pork Schnitzel and my wife ordered baked Scrod. Both great choices. We were both stuffed and had to skip dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience. Great food and amazing service. A must visit when you’re in the area.Parking: Ample space.Kid-friendliness: Not really. Tight space inside“

“My husband and I went there a while on vacation and absolutely loved it! He had a hamburger with french fries, and he said the hamburger was delicious. I ordered the salmon sandwich on sourdough bread, and it was absolutely delectable. I LOVED it! I normally do not order a fish sandwich, but I thought this one sounded good and I'm so glad I tried it. The fish tasted like that of a quality fish and the combination they offered with it was so very good. The sourdough bread was excellent with it as well. I did ask them to take it off the bacon since I'm not a bacon lover, but my husband is, and I gave it to him. The salad was also very fresh and the vegetables seemed like they were of good quality. I just ordered the water and it was really good too. I actually asked the waitress about their water, and I think our waitress told us it was well water. She was also very good and we bragged on her to the owner of the restaurant. They had a musician that was playing there that night, and it was just a nice touch. We are both very glad that we went and would definitely go again.On a side note, we did not stay at the hotel, therefore, we cannot rate it. This review is for the restaurant alone.“

“Went to Valley view Saloon for the first time today 8/13/22. The food was amazing the wait staff were very pleasant and attentive too our needs. The building had a nice bar and dining area plus nice outside seating I would definitely recommend this place.“

“We had a wonderful visit to the under new management Robert’s Roadhouse. We shared spring rolls and loaded potato skins that tasted great. Lobster Ravioli with shrimp Alfredo was delicious. Stole more than a few bites of my wife’s half rack of ribs that were perfect. Great choices for the kids too. Definitely will be making this place a regular stop.“

“This inn is perfection! We stopped here on a sister trip around VT. It turned out to be the highlight of our weekend. The fireplace lounge, cozy bar and restaurant are as beautiful as the guestrooms. The food was amazing. Randi has thought of everything.“

“Had a great time service was great staff was polite and went above and beyond. Don't forget the food was great. I will go back if I'm ever in that state again. We even bought tshirts there we liked it so much.Vegetarian options: Staff will work with you to make something epic for you“

It’s a fairly standard lodge space during the day, loads of space for everyone in ski boots and gear, but at night it transforms into a fantastic dining area with Mule Bar!Perfect for large groups, kids too, but mainly for foodie adults looking for the best flavors in the West Dover area. The chef is incredibly talented, there are NO wrong choices on the menu! The bartenders are also inventive and know how to mix a perfect (and surprising!) cocktail.Don’t let your tastebuds languish and your wallet suffer with other choices around town, this place is a hidden gem that is well priced and well run! Plus with room to stretch your legs and enjoy the Mountain Views, I cannot express how excited I am to have discovered it!!Parking: Huge parking lot, completely clear after the regular ski/snowboard crowd empties out after 4pm. Ramps up to the door for easy access.“
