“The Dorset Inn is a great jewel! Every time we dine there, it’s consistently wonderful. The staff makes all extra too and they are all very professional and delightful know their food, cocktails, wines and small gift shop products. Kudos to the chef and management!I adore their locally made maple syrup candles in our kitchen that continually remind us of the Inn!“
“We had the best celebration of my mother’s birthday at this restaurant. The food and service were impeccable. The menu was so varied and had something for everyone, I definitely want to come back and try other things on their menu! Tammy was our waitress and she was fabulous, she made my mom feel so special and even included a surprise dessert. Thank you to Tammy, the rest of the staff and chefs! Highly recommend this restaurant to others.“
“We worked with the Dorset Bakery on our wedding dessert selection. Dorset Bakery was a huge help to us in selecting the right number and variety of dessert for our wedding. The desserts were delicious and a huge hit for our guests. We loved all the fall flavors we selected from pumpkin cheesecake to apple pie! They were so beautiful as well and looked great on our dessert table.“
“Formerly the Mark Skinner Library for 100 years, the building has been creatively reborn(a few years ago) as an upscale art-filled restaurant. Buckminster Fuller designed the addition in the 1960s! Definitely make a reservation as early as you can. A number of side dishes are vegan, and we ordered the ratatouille with bread & greens and the tower of mofungo. Owners have lived in San Juan and impart the tastes and styles of this city into their cooking, a delight. We took food home, very large portions. I wondered if I would have to dress up, but styles are casual in New England, even at fancier places in cold weather, it seems. Really nice wines by the glass and bottle. Friendly service from Keller. The owners invited us to look in the kitchen which used to be book stacks. They still have the card catalog.“
“One of my all time favorite restaurants in the Manchester area. Wonderful experience to view the beautiful artwork prior to sitting down to an outstanding meal and bottle of wine. Our server was wonderful as well. A perfect Vermont apres ski dinner experience!“
“Stayed for the 2 night weekday Epicurean stay and could not recommend it more! It is exactly what you would want out of a Vermont Inn/Hallmark movie and I will be back. The price point was better than expected for 2 nights, including breakfast each day, a wine and cheese plate upon arrival, birthday treats and a 3 course meal for 2. (499 before extras and taxes)The staff were all pleasant,. Our room was perfect,; loved the remote fireplace, the library esthetic and the jetted bathtub. Parking was easy and plentiful. I cannot wait to return.PLEASE go here for a romantic and cozy night. You will not be disappointed.“
“Outstanding!Had the Irish scramble. It's was one of the daily specials. Everything was cooked perfectly, spiced perfectly and tasted amazing. The grilled scone is at legendary status. We split an order of sour dough french toast. Absolutely worth it. There will be fresh jam on the table.“
“Great place! Had the melt in your mouth venison. Lovely, warm and unique restaurant. Really enjoyed it, the snow made it that much more cozy. Server was perfect and punctual. They have a mock-tail apple punch or something like that that was refreshing and would be perfect for even younger patrons. Already trying to recreate it...Worth making your visit, as I left a very happy camper! Thank you, as I will visit again.“
“Had a great time service was great staff was polite and went above and beyond. Don't forget the food was great. I will go back if I'm ever in that state again. We even bought tshirts there we liked it so much.Vegetarian options: Staff will work with you to make something epic for you“
“One of the only actual bars in Manchester (we found that out the hard way). Food is great, staff are super friendly and they have a great selection of beers and mixed drinks. We stayed for multiple NFL games and had a great time. This is the place to go for good food and drinks in Manchester.“
“Delicious, delightful, and around wonderful breakfast experience. Everything on the menu is delicious, there's outdoor seating or you can pop in and out eat your sandwiches on the go. There's also a confectionary store right across with glorious stuff worth checking out!“
“Was in the area for a graduation. The Seasons is dog friendly and I had my Lab with us. Maria was fabulous. The food was good. I had the blackened salmon tacos. The taste was spot on with seasonings. Salmon was slightly overcooked. The Wings in the maple sriracha sauce ??. My kids had Tofu Lettuce wraps and a classic burger. I would recommend the Seasons for anyone in the area. Pleasant atmosphere, wonderful staff and great food!! Thank you for your hospitality.“
“Stopped on our way home and we are glad we did! Very clean dining area. Booths are roomy and comfortable. Staff is dedicated and friendly. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. Our server was amazing! Our drinks and salads came out quickly with awesome warm bread! The food serving was perfect for the price. Our meals were delicious and the desserts were fantastic! We will be back for sure and highly recommend to anyone to stop in for a great relaxing meal at a fair price!“
“This is a good place for a special night out. It's more pricey than other local restaurants, but worth every nickel for the food, the ambience, and the service. The entertainment down in the pub is always top not h.Parking: You will need to get creative with parking spots.“
“The food was amazing! This seems to be a family owned restaurant, which is great but there are only about two waiters. We were first seated at a booth but the seats were ripped and unusually squishy, so we moved to a high top. Which was much better. The Shirley temple was yummy and so were the steamed muscles and burger. The food took a long time to come, but it was definitely worth the wait! Since there were only two or really one waiter you didn’t get checked on much but it was fine. The real only flaw is the low amount of waiters and the long wait for the food. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant especially for families! And my family and I would probably come again.“
“The Proprietor is very pleasant & present to the guests. The menu had an excellent array of dinner options. We each had something different & all were delicious. We liked being able to bring our own wine. The atmosphere is cozy & comfortable!“
“We ordered catering from them for my boyfriend's 30th birthday weekend in Vermont! Nancy was extremely helpful and responsive as she went back and forth with me to finalize the menu and details, they were even kind enough to make us a custom dish per request.I cannot recommend them highly enough, our party of 30 was very happy with the food especially the steak! Everything was delicious and the service was exceptional! I'll definitely visit the place when we're back in Vermont!“
“The food was pretty good! My family and I had a lobster roll, clam chowder, breaded wings with fries, calamari and fried oysters. The calamari, fried oysters and fries gave everyone stomach aches. But the lobster roll was great! We came early like around 5:45-6:00 pm but when we were leaving there was a huge line and it was veryyyyy crowded. Overall we enjoyed it but the food gave us stomach aches and if you don’t come early you might get stuck in a longgggggg line.“
“Being old we ate early. 5:00pm. Only two other tables for most of our meal, which was absolutely delicious. I had one of their specialties, calf's liver. Not a meal for everybody but as good as at our favorite Italian restaurant in Manhattan or as my Italian father made it. NYC prices but worth every penny. The wines that are sold by the glass are not usually top tier. The Pinot Noir that we had was. Strongly recommend eating here.“
