“My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we were visiting Waterbury for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This was our first meal in the area, and was a wonderful way to start our trip! The food was incredible, and they had some vegetarian and gluten-free options, which I need and hard to come by sometimes. The service was prompt and the staff were very kind and warm. We will definitely come back the next time we're in the area!

“Recently my family got takeout from China Star. We got the pork Lo Mein, Crab Rangoons, and Orange chicken. It was all delicious and I recommend going there to eat in or take out. I especially liked the Orange chicken and pork lo Mein but it was all good. Service is quick and easy and the employees are always friendly. (Jacob age 12).”

“Thick eggs, fluffy English muffins (which I don't normally like), and flavorful sausage puts this in my top 5 breakfast sandwiches in the state.

The cinnamon roll is very unique. Thin and crispier than normal and almost crystalized in sugar. I definitely recommend trying them.”

“Stopped here out of exasperation and to use the restroom. I decided to get a sandwich and I was very surprised at the quality of the vegetables. Definitely better than your average Subway in terms of veggies, bread and meats. Staff was friendly as well. It'll definitely do in a pinch after being stuck in Stowe traffic!”

“One of the best meals we had while visiting VT was at the Reservoir. OMG!! The poutine appetizer was absolutely unbelievable. It was cheesy and bacony goodness. We wanted to lick the plate at the end. My smash burger was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Loved it so much! It was so juicy and delicious. The salad was a good side dish. My husband opted for a plain chicken sandwich instead of the hot chicken. Hot chicken would have had more flavor. My cousin loved his cheesesteak. He said it was one of the best cheesesteaks that he’s ever had. It was super juicy and delectable. My other cousin loved her mahi mahi sandwich. She wanted something different and loved it. Our waiter was very attentive, very personable and gave great food recommendations. He deserves a raise. The Reservoir is a must visit when in Waterbury. Everyone loved the food and the service. Wish it was closer. I’d be there all the time. We’ll be dreaming about it until our next trip.”

“We went Sunday night 3/26 and we have never had such a great experience. The girl there was so kind and made some of the best subway we’ve ever had. It was very clean and one of the best experiences I’ve had at a Subway. That girl deserves a bonus for how well she treated it!”

“We stopped in for dinner during our trip to Stowe. The food was really good. Our waitress forgot our fries and the kitchen had closed, so that was a bummer. She did compensate us though and that was nice. Overall, it’s worth the wait if you can’t get a reservation.”
