The Italian dining experience you've always dreamed of: a boisterous host greeted us warmly and loudly and when we sheepishly admitted we didn't have a reservation he responded with 'What's your name?! Now you do!' and showed us straight to our ideal seats at the bar. The servers were exceptional, the service excellent, the ambiance enchanting, the food sooooo delicious. ? There was a live musician, friendly conversation all around and overall a beautiful Saturday date night dining experience... 10/10 can't wait to go back. “I've eaten the food here now 3 times. Twice was pumpkin curry which was absolutely outstanding! Once was chicken pad thai, my usual go to. The noodles in the pad thai weren't quite cooked enuf before stir frying, but the flavors were pretty good. But big applause for affordability and super fast readiness with the phoned in orders. I will definitely return! However, it it might be hard to convince me to order something besides the outstanding pumpkin curry, which is a guaranteed winner with big chunks of pumpkin squash. Yum!”

My grandma and I were visiting the area and just wanted a light dinner after eating fried fish for lunch and second lunch - im so glad we chose Lucky, it was great! We just had hot and sour soup and pot stickers each, but it was great, service was super fast, and it was less than $30 for us to both eat. Definitely give them a try! 💕”

Little pillows of heavenly goodness that is how I would describe the potstickers and meat pies. As an added bonus, the food is very kid friendly! My kiddo gave the food a thumbs up and it would have been two if his hands weren’t busy quickly gobbling up his food. Authentic Chinese food with a ton of meat in the pot stickers and the meat pie. The dough was fresh and delicious! Shuli worked on the dough as I watched. Fast! I loved that both the potstickers and meat pie had lots of flavor. A fun lunch treat. We will be back!! If you have not tried it, you are missing out! Filling comfort food.”

“I don't think any pizza will ever compare to Village Pizza. Anytime I go home to Anacortes and visit the first thing I do is get pizza and salad from Village.
Their salads are the best with the sprinkle of mozzarella cheese and seasoning on top and the lettuce is always fresh and crispy. I order the same pizza every time and it's always perfect. The ingredients are fresh, their sauce is amazing, and they don't skimp on their toppings, cheese included. Their food is great whether you dine in or take out, It doesn't make a difference. I still feel like I get just as much salad in a takeout box that I do when I'm dining in.
Their prices are pretty high, but prices are high everywhere, so I can't hold back any stars just because of that. You get what you pay for.
Village will always be my favorite pizza place, and I hope they always stay in business, in Anacortes.”

“We were visiting from Seattle and stopped by to grab coffee on the way home. A young blonde woman was working. I wasn’t familiar with the offerings so I asked a few questions such as which coffee roaster they use, whether they have nitro cold brew, etc She laughed after my questions, was very impatient and had a terrible attitude. I thought I may have imagined it, but my boyfriend mentioned how terrible her attitude was as we drove away. I would expect better customer service at a small business where I would assume employees are treated well.

Pros: The coffee was great and I liked that there was no wait. I still tipped despite the unpleasant experience. Hopefully she has a better day.”

“I recently met friends for lunch in the bar section, with a perfect corner seat for chatting and giggling. Our server Chris B. was excellent and smiled at us every time he came to our table, was gracious, and polite. He made our day even more special!”

“Quick and friendly service, great food. The only thing is that I thought the serving size was a little smaller than expected. Especially compared to similar restaurants. Based on other review pictures, it seemed like it would be similar, and maybe it's just the take out, but the takeout chicken teriyaki only had one row of chicken and two small scoops of rice. Still tasted good, but didn't feel like I got my moneys worth.

“This real house, has a HUGE selection of donuts, fritters, croissants, etc. They also feature a coffee bar. These are the best donuts ever. We went there 2 days in a row, and will gladly return on our next visit!”

“The price was was too high for some original burgers and fries. They even charge for dipping sauce which they even forgot with our orders when it was brought out. Kids meals wasn’t that great either. But I guess since the pandemic and their business was loosing money, had to spike the prices for their lost money. Used to be decent price before the Covid stuff. We wouldn’t of mind paying that much if the food was cooked and made better. Lesson learned, not coming back.”

But they use Jasmin rice which is very unusual for a teriyaki place it does not go together well in my humble yet experienced teriyaki eater opinion.

No problem, I called and let them know it was missing and was invited to return and pick it up. So I did, and again it was not four star Mongolian Beef. I wasn't about to go back a third time. Delicious beef imperial, but not what I ordered.”

“Stopped here on our way back to Missouri. I grew up just down the road from this place and this was my first time eating here ( I'm embarrassed to say). we had the fish and chips and shrimp basket, both were amazing! I have eaten A LOT of fish and chips in my life and this was hands down the best. I love the shaded outdoor dining area, it was clean and comfortable. The staff here, is super friendly. If there is a line DO NOT let it deter you from stopping. It is work the wait. I even got 5lbs of shrimp to take back to MO.”
