“Everything I ordered was incredible. The Dal Makhani was my favorite, the taste and spice were perfect. I would also highly recommend the Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, and Chicken Biriyani. Their basmati rice was aromatic and cooked perfectly and the Garlic Naan and Butter Naan were so so good. When I picked up my order it was neatly packed and they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. This will be my go to for Indian in Auburn and I will be ordering again!”

Not only is the restaurant a beautiful place to celebrate, but the staff went above and beyond to make my night one I’ll remember for years. They spared no expense or detail for my guests and me. Chef Joel rolled out a fantastic dinner, starting with amuse-bouches and appetizers, followed by perfectly prepared steaks for everyone. The entire meal was outstanding, and the service made us feel both special and welcomed. Smoke & Cedar truly exceeded my expectations and created a celebration I’ll never forget. “Favorite place to eat. Would recommend going during a less busy time because when it's busy it seems the food isn't as good because they are rushing food out. Ex. I love the broccoli and chicken, but the broccoli has to be soft not hard. It's only hard when not cooked long enough..aka..rushing to go the buffet. But do love the food!”

“Friendly service, food is great, plenty of selections; Korean, Chinese, and Japanese foods in one place. I had the spider roll and the Mongolian Beef. I didn’t order the combos on purpose but who knew the Japanese food and Chinese food complimented each other very well. Talking about a great service, my wife order the sesame balls for a dessert. 2 of 5 were a bit under cooked somehow. We broke them a part but didn’t eat them. One other staffs walked by and asked if we didn’t like. My wife told her those 2 seemed like they are not full cooked so we didn’t want to eat them but we are okayed. She then insisted that she asked the chef to make a fresh batch of 5 for us. This time they were perfectly cooked. I was impressed with her and felt very appreciative. I recommend this place if you like delicious food and something quick.”

“Came here post work out and I was impressed. I asked whether the torta was big and was rold no but it came with alot of meat and she wasnt lying. The torta was delicious the beans weren't refried which I appreciated. And it came with fresh sliced avocado it looked dlike I got half of one medium avocado.
My husband had yhe tacos and while he said the flavor was good the meat was a little dry. But the salsa made up for it. The hirchata was also delicious. It had the authentic powder remnants at the bottom only real home made horchata has. Will definitely visit again.”

“I grew up in Seattle eating teriyaki regularly. I know the difference between a good spot and a bad spot - thick sauce vs thin, those little burnt pieces on the chicken and the yakisoba, etc.

This place is certainly the best in Auburn, but I’d go further and say it might be the best I’ve had in general.

I’ve been here 15 or 20 times now and it’s always great quality, and the employees make me feel valued.

“I cannot recommend this restaurant enough, this place is wonderful!!! The staff are super friendly, the food is out of this world, the atmosphere is crazy fun, and it's celiac safe with only a couple menu items that can't be made gluten free! They have video games to play, a small mini golf area, all kinds of toys, games, comic books, and a whole section for Pokémon cards. Even their prices are incredibly reasonable on everything they sell. We will definitely be back!”

“Started coming here for lunch over a year ago. Their Bahn Mi's are my favorite, I highly recommend any of them. They also give you the option to add jalapeños or not. The sandwich is nice and toasted and the veggies are fresh. The Bahn mi prices are as of this date, the most affordable Bahn mi in this area. The service of the staff is great as well, they're are kind and efficient. The space inside is a little small, but they have countertop seating. Highly recommend trying it out!”

“Bought Glow Tea again this year. And it was the best bubble tea at the fair!
The tapioca pearls were perfect and chewy, the lychee was tasty, the passion fruit tea was perfectly sweet and even had the seeds!!!
They had a self order kiosk section that was super convenient and when you did interact with witht the employees it was short and sweet.
And they turned on the lights when they handed it out to make sure people saw the glow!!
They also had Boa Box and I'm so excited to order both again next year!
Please come to the fair every year from now on! Best drink and food we had at the fair and definitely telling anyone to go there (also cute inflatable)

2 years ago review---Bought the Passion fruit Glow tea at the Puyallup State Fair and was extremely disappointed.
The price of the smallest size option was nearly $20
It wasn't filled all the way, had no sugar at all, I did order both the boba and lychee toppings and didn't say if they were extra or not and it was still bitter.
Customer service wasn't rude but they definitely weren't happy to be there.
It's been a week now, and I did take home the cute little lightbulb they give you.

I figured that's why the name Glow tea, no in fact a week after the fair we realized there is a little switch on the bottom to turn on the lights and make it glow pretty colors, it's really bright too! Super cool, it would have been awesome to use it too had we known.

The novelty of it was cool, but I don't plan to buy again when it didn't take good at all.”

“I was craving tacos one morning and found Burritos California open 24 hours near my work. So glad I stopped by! The girl at the register had a big smile and a great attitude, super friendly and gave me awesome menu recommendations. Honestly, every employee here seem genuinely happy cooks.

The young team runs the place with passion, and their menu suggestions are always spot on. You can see the kitchen it’s clean, professional, and the whole restaurant smells clean and fresh.

The food comes out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. The portions are huge honestly the biggest burrito I’ve ever had! It’s rolled perfectly too! Nothing pops or spills out. Their avocado sauce is incredible (and always fresh because it runs out so fast!). Even the free sauce and pickle bar are spotless.

They remember you if you come often and treat you even better each time. This is one of those rare restaurants you can trust. We need to support local spots like this run by young passionate people and help them grow! 🌯🔥”

Both took me to a Boeing locked unmanned gate. You must take 15th off of the 18 to perimeter. See the sign for all trucks left lane and stay left for Starbucks or geoids or what ever it's called. Follow fence all the way around to check in. The people are nice and I hope fast. Not unloaded yet. But easy facility one you get here. But apparently they get complaints multiple times a day about directions. And Boeing will yell at you and one driver got a 400.00 ticket. So my suggestion if you see a Safeway distribution center go in and turn around. I am lucky I got out and didn't get yelled at or a ticket. I gave 4 stars because they won't add driving directions on BOLs or any shipping or reciving paperwork. And there are not signs anywhere on either route. They dont care about drivers and getting stuck. Well the workers at facility do. But not the suits. Never the suits. Good luck drivers. Need better directions, no overnight parking, other than that good deal.”

“I'm am usually a Wetzles Pretzles gal and have had not so great quality at any Annies in past but today I really wanted a pretzel for my birthday. Decided to give it a go and it was surprisingly very good today. Fresh, soft, and just perfect. Not sure if I happened in on the last two of a fresh batch at 10am or if someone new is working!”

“Antojitos Michalisco is a fantastic little shop offering many flavors of sorbet and ice cream as well as many fruit based treats and classic Mexican street food favorites such as chicharron preparado, tostitlocos, elote, and esquites.

The staff are very friendly and happy to let you sample any of the flavors of sorbet and ice cream they have. They even have several flavors you aren't likely to find anywhere else.

There are tables and chairs to sit and enjoy your treats, and they have a TV playing movies or shows, which can be great for kids. When we visited last they were playing Despicable Me 3, which our kids loved to watch at they happily ate their ice cream.

They are very generous with their scoop sizes, and a single scoop there is the same size as a double scoop from other near by shops, for similar prices.

“I had a fried fish with rice. It came with salad, flat bread. I also ordered a juice.

The fried fish was great! It was a medium sized whole fish fried really well. The rice and salad was ok. The juice was good, too.

I am definitely coming back when I want fried fish. I gave four stars for the service instead of five because some simple things weren't explained. There was a beans sauce/soup that I wasn't sure how to eat. I think if the waiter explained what it is and how they eat it, the service would be better.”

Always enjoyed sitting in the bar, watching sports on the large TV’s Seahawks, Mariners or Sounders.\nI hope the management reads this, about 3 weeks ago stopped and ordered off the 2 for 1 price. I go in the back door and order, pointing to the menu. I get home and realize I was charged off the main menu for a lot more money. I’m embarrassed to admit that to my husband. \nYesterday I call ahead, order 2 salads and ask the price $23.??, great. I go in to pick up and get the young girl who is the expert on meals to go. She said would like to give $5.00, me thinking it’s a tip, I Say sure!\nI wait, it was 15 minutes later than I was told on the phone, that’s ok, I appreciate them. Then she hands me the machine to pay for food. Push Here! $39.00 and change. I say why so much, she says $23.00, no I say it says $39.00 she says “Oh that’s for a 20% tip, that she added. I said what was the $5. for? She gives me a long spiel, I hear for first time, about someone on bad times. By then I feel like, boy she’s slick!! I Say no tip, pay and leave. My mother was a waitress most of her life, I always give 20%, but what she is doing is wrong!! I’d love the manager to ask someone else to get takeout and see what happens. By the way, I tried to pay when I called the order in and was to told to pay when I come in? What if I couldn’t walk well, drive with right foot, bad knee on left leg? I’m sure management doesn’t want local customers unhappy twice.”

“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!”
