“came here on the way down to golf in tacoma. in korea soup and rice is a common breakfast, so my parents and i were thankful they were open relatively early. everything was amazing - soup hearty without being overly fatty, and all the side dishes were homemade and amazing (better kimchi than my mom's, and they also had marinated squid which is so good with the soup). they even shared a spicy pepper condiment to eat with the meat in the soup that was amazing!family running the place was super nice, and they came by to make conversation and see how we liked our meal. the way the restaurant was set up, also looked like a great place to get some food and a hearty meal after work with friends. will definitely come by every time we pass through federal way!”

“I have never been much of a smoothy person until I came here. Trust me when I say these are the best smoothies in town. The mango magnitude is my go to ALWAYS. Definitely recommend to come here either after a workout or if u just want a smoothie in general. He stays open until the gym closes which is great! I tend to workout very late because of my tight schedule and sometimes I like to treat myself with a smoothie and it’s just a good way to end the day.”

“The strawberry and cream cheese croffle is amazing. You can’t go wrong with either the strawberry or Oreo bingsu either. Every single macaroon is amazing and is double the filling of a regular macaroon. The flavors are fun and they all look too cute or pretty to eat. “I finally found good Mexican food that’s authentic in federal way. I found them while it was walking with Siri and I got their tamales that are Rajas with queso OMG They were so incredibly good. I give up buying tamales quite a while ago because I couldn’t find any good ones. They have great ones and they Agua is awesome. I can’t wait to go back for a torta ahogada!! I haven’t had one since I was in GDL!! Check them out they close a little early. She said 7 PM. They are so good.!!”

“I tried this spot for the first time today & I was very pleasantly surprised. The pho (noodle soup) was very good. The broth was rich and complex. The soup garnishes were very fresh with no bean sprouts that were even slightly brown! I ordered the large size and got a good amount of meat with my number five soup. There was a fair amount of onion green onion and cilantro in the bowl although I personally would’ve preferred a bit more it was a good amount. The only small complaint I had on the pho was that the noodles were slightly over cooked, and I did try them right away. They were barely overcooked it really wasn’t bad, but that was my only suggestion for improvement on this dish. This was only after one try and I’m sure it would be better next time and I will try again. The real star of the meal for me were the grilled pork spring rolls with peanut sauce. The spring rolls had a good amount of meat with chilled vermicelli noodles and veggies. The grilled pork was hot & seasoned perfection with lemon grass & other spices and the peanut sauce was very good with a hoisin sauce base. Other peanut sauces I’ve had in the past have been more peanutty and a little thicker which is also good but I enjoyed the sauce quite a bit. I would give the soup an 8 out of 10 and the spring rolls are 10 out of 10 the spring roll sauce also 10 out of 10”

“Took my daughter here for a nice dinner. It was winter so not much action going on outside on the water but I had the best rib eye I’ve had in my life and I’ve had a lot of them. She had bolognese and she said it was amazing and that is her favorite meal. Will definitely be back:)”

“Super bomb food and delicious Iced Vietnamese Coffee!I typically order a grilled pork banh mi and sometimes I'll pair it with the chicken fried rice. Super tasty! The chicken fried rice is large as well, if you're really hungry go for both, but honestly you just need one or the other (banh mi or fried rice) and it'll fill you up!I also love the Vietnamese Iced Coffee! I've been hooked every since I tried it. The quality of the coffee definitely tastes a lot better than something you'd get at another coffee stand.Highly recommend this place! Bomb food and coffee!”

“First time eating at Nami Sushi, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the small boat, which has 20 different items in the boat and 3 different kinds of rolls. We also ordered the tempura calamari and Agedashi with a side of Japanese beer (large bottle of Asahi). The wait staff are attentive and checked on us multiple times. The restaurant is clean and tables are nicely spaced apart, tables are cleaned immediately. The decor of this restaurant is pretty cool and unusual. We will definitely be back. Thanks Nami Sushi!”

“Caramelized pork belly is over cooked but the sauce is yummy, the red spaghetti is bland but the colossal chicken parmesan is delicious so as mama mia prawns, which tasted like honey walnut shrimp. Service is phenomenal! Atmosphere is cozy specially the booth seating. It is welcoming and quiet with tall ceiling. I would come back again and try other items.”

“The food is always good and so worth it. I got carnitas tacos (pictured) and a bean/cheese burrito (no one makes it better). The tacos were full of delicious chucks of flavorful pork. It sometimes is hard to ask a follow up question, like I ordered guacamole, thinking it would come on the side, and eventually she saw me and explained it was in the burrito.”

“This place is fun, has pretty loud rock music playing. Large bar and seating area. Menu is decent, could have more vegetarian options but it is manageable as a vegetarian. I gave three for service because it was a shame ft change and we got forgotten- but I’ll update it if we go back and that’s improved. The staff could be more proactive about being welcoming. For atmosphere, in terms a a fun rocker pizza place vibe, they have that down well. The only issue was it was rather smoky from bacon cooking and could use better ventilation. I would definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Twitter vegetarian salads, pizza options, Mac and cheese can be ordered without bacon. It would be awesome if they had one vegetable dish.”

“This specific location has consistently been operated by friendly staff. I can come in at 3am or 8am and I'll see a smile. Tonight/morning I came in around 3am and the drive-through guy was really nice. I don't know what management is doing to keep everyone happy, but it's working. I just hope the staff is paid appropriately because to be honest, I think the food could use a tiny bit of work in terms of flavor, but the friendly service truly makes up for shortcomings. I'll always come back to this location.”

The workers here are all great, but I wish they knew more about the McDonald's mobile app. The best thing about this location is that they have a play place, unlike the other location on 320th.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs if you need one. They also have a play place, so when you dine in, your kids can play with the other kids. It's especially nice when it's cold out, so if your kids usually like going to parks, this "indoor playground" will be perfect for them.”

Ordered one each of their steak, chicken and shredded pork tacos (with rice and beans) and an order of chicken taquitos (these were crispy, lightly fried and flavorful). Our tacos were crafted just right with the pork and chicken being my faves (in that order). All three generously topped with onions and the veggie mix atop was fresh and flavorful. Excellent handmade chewy but crisp corn tortillas and flavorful hot sauces.”

“Popped in here on a whim the other day and am so happy I did. We got their pig ears, wontons, nine way noodles, and green Chili noodles. Every dish came out so flavorful and we will be returning very soon. The customer service was great! The workers here were attentive to and promptly refilled our water when they saw it was getting low, they even packed our food when we were done! I'm so glad to have another favorite restaurant in Federal Way to go to!”

“Best smoothies ever!!!They have a great selection of smoothies and also the ability to add your own selection of ingredients, add one of protien included vegan options (I'm not vegan but it's great they offer options) a great selection of smoothie milk options (regular milk, coconut milk, coconut water, and I believe also almond milk) they have protien waffles and other healthier option snacks and yogurts with granola and fruit toppings. Lots of options, different drink options also. The sea moss is amazing and took away all my autoimmune symptoms after two months of taking it!!”

“When it comes to fast food mexican restaurants, Taco Time is my all time favorite! A fixture in the Pacific Northwest for longer than I've been alive, they keep their quality standards high across the board. The ingredients are as locally sourced as they can be and they even have a nice revolving seasonal menu. In the summer months when romaine lettuce is bountiful, they offer a chicken caesar salad or a chicken caesar burrito. Both of which are a little on the pricy side but delicious just the same. Now that fall has taken over and the air is chilly, try their white corn chowder with or without chicken. It's sure to warm you up fast. If that's not hot enough for you, they make their own salsas and hot sauce and they've added a new set of burritos to the menu that are here to stay. The crisp chicken habanero and the regular chicken habanero. They have that spicy kick that you're looking for. I did notice the last time I ordered the tostado salad that they have made the shell a bit smaller but I was just as full all the same after I was finished so I won't really complain. They have raised their prices a bit over the last couple of months and if they are shrinking portion sizes at the same time, I will be very disappointed. One thing that I love about Taco Time is there commitment to the environment. They were one of the first and only restaurants to start separating their trash into recycling, composting and plain garbage. They've even gone so far as to supply nearly 100% biodegradable materials so that you can compost almost all of it instead of it going to a landfill. They are probably the only restaurant doing so south of the Sodo district too. Now if they could make the opening to the compost bins a little bigger than a football, I could actually get the trash in the bin and not all over the floor. Taco Time boasts that they don't use scales or weigh out their ingredients. Instead, they prepare your meal based on a recipe and this shows. Some employees get the recipe just right while others are very liberal with the ingredients and then others hold back a bit. If I've ever had a problem with a Taco Time location, it would be my portion size or the treatment from the employees but even when those are bad, the food is still amazing! “I only found out this place exists from a work friend. It's kinda hidden at the back of a strip mall area and is very unassuming. Interesting menu with all kinds of stuff but I stuck with the mandu. Had the bulgogi, pan fried pork, shrimp and pork, and japchae. They were all very, very good. The home made kimchi is also very good if you like spicy kimchi. This place should be having booming business but it was pretty quiet when we were there. My picky wife even loved it and said we should come back. Get in here and give it a try.”

Its far more authentic, all the food carries some spice and they have sauces you can add to really take the spice lot another level. apparently its a small chain, who knew we had one in Auburn and there is another in Bellevue It's clean and neat, the workers are Hispanic so you know you're going to get real Mexican food and you do. My friend had a quesadilla which she said was too spicy for her, I took a taste and didn't think so. It was very large and she took some home. I wasn't all that hungry so opted for fish tacos. Didn't realize their tacos are street tacos size so this was perfect for someone not starved. Came with the fish cabbage and a really good sauce that had just the right amount of heat. It's a pretty extensive menu and on the wall sort of difficult to read. Think before we go the next time will study the on line menu.”

“My first visit at the Federal Way location. Our server, Soh Young, was a ray of sunshine. She was engaging and professional and she made you feel like you’re at home. I remembered my first visit to the Black Bear Diner in Northern California off the I-5 freeway. Great portion size food. You will not leave hungry.”

“We have been eating at this same location for many years with our kids and grandkids. We were very happy when it opened up again under a new name after the "pandemic" caused the Old Country Buffet to go out of business.Of course, like everything else in this area the price went up. When we first went here after it opened up, we were happy with the selection and quality of the food, and the friendliness of the employees.On our visit today, the food was still pretty good although some of it tasted like it had been stored for quite a while and was dried out. The salad bar had fresh vegetables... Before we got home my stomach started gurgling and I started having very bad gas. We were going to make a couple of stops, but decided against it.I have been laying around since we got home to try and get my stomach settled.The drinks are now behind a tall wooden fence that goes all the way around the dispensers with gates that say, "employees only". Most fast-food places have drink dispensers where you can fill up your own drink. When an employee brings you a drink it is in a very small cup... maybe 10 ounces? The whole situation is very cheesy.The price charged was more than what it says on the website and then in addition to the 10% sales tax... there is an additional 5% "living wage charge". I believe this is not a "tax", but a surcharge to help cover the $17.25 that employers with less than 500 employees must now pay to unskilled workers. In addition, they try to get you to charge an 15% or 20% tip on your credit card. This is kind of typical these days... but not exactly appropriate for this type of establishment. We left some money on the table which has been are practice for the last 30 or 40 years at this location.I had a partially completed punch card that gave a free meal after 5 were purchased. When I handed it to the cashier to get it punched, he replaced it with one that gives a free meal after 10 meals purchased.I have to admit to being a little grumpy because of my stomach pain... The place was mostly empty... and I no longer have a warm and fuzzy feeling about going back. After all these years of going here... we plan on going to a nearby casino that charges a little bit more but provides better service, food, and atmosphere. I do not see how they are going to stay in business.”

“We go here for the casual atmosphere, GREAT Service, and good food!Dietary restrictions: Keto lovers get the Ribeye and a salad. Stay away from the Blackened Ribeye as it has sugar in the seasoning.”

“I usually get the prime chicken breast burger, however this time I got a double buffalo burger with cheddar cheese and everything. Oh My &$#*?!&%/*!! Dang! THE BEST BURGER I EVER ATE IN MY LIFE! WOOOO! Update years later...I only get the buffalo burger and a small peanut butter shake after a hard workout! Great recovery food!!Parking: Plenty of parking”

“Came here for lunch and needless to say this was probably the cleanest Korean restaurant I've ever been to! We ordered 12 different kinds of combo (meat plus tofu soup) and while the short rib was really sweet all the various tofu soup were delicious! Their side dishes were pretty good! Ordering just the tofu soup by itself is $19 for an extra 12 bucks you can get it via combo! Definitely will come here again!”

The quality of food is always consistent, not the greatest, but not eating here for the best food and dining experience in the world either. It's fast, I know what I want and I get a great deal b/c I use the McDonald's app. I highly recommend it.”

“Not giving 5 stars 'cause sometimes my order isn't right. The workers here are all great, but I wish they knew more about the McDonald's mobile app. The best thing about this location is that they have a play place, unlike the other location on 320th.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs if you need one. They also have a play place, so when you dine in, your kids can play with the other kids. It's especially nice when it's cold out, so if your kids usually like going to parks, this "indoor playground" will be perfect for them.”

“I am a fan. It was my first time so tried the Original with an egg, pork and veggie gyoza. Everything was well executed. It got quite crowded at lunch time. Our server was friendly and the decor was edging towards anime chic”

“This specific location has consistently been operated by friendly staff. I can come in at 3am or 8am and I'll see a smile. Tonight/morning I came in around 3am and the drive-through guy was really nice. I don't know what management is doing to keep everyone happy, but it's working. I just hope the staff is paid appropriately because to be honest, I think the food could use a tiny bit of work in terms of flavor, but the friendly service truly makes up for shortcomings. I'll always come back to this location.”
