“My mom, who perpetually complains her drink is never right, LOVED her coffee from Maple Bar. I swear she said it was yummy ever other sip!! Plus, their scones are super moist and tasty! Such a cute little shop and the friendliest barista! Will def be back!“
“This is a traditional Turkish breakfast plate, Turkish coffee, and spinach börek. We also tried the baklava. Everything was excellent! This was my first experience with Turkish coffee, I loved it! There are also other items for sale such as beautiful colorful lamps, rugs, spices, etc. Quaint little shop with a warm ambiance. The owner is very nice and gracious. If you visit Bellingham, you must check out this lovely shop.Vegetarian options: Most everything is vegetarian friendly.“
“Buried treasure for those who appreciate a good cup of coffee. Cof& offers great coffee prepared multiple ways. take the time to get coffee prepared by a japanese syphon or a our over. the beans are showcased and the results are a like a warm hug for your tongue. It's a big place and crowd size may vary.“
“Jordan made the atmosphere amazing. As soon as I came in the vibe was there and not to mention the food is incredible! My coffee hit the spot, but honestly if you get a wrap get the house sauce. That was her recommendation and it was spot on the service was great and you will not be disappointed ! Again shout out to my girl , Jordan.“
“Highly recommend for breakfast, brunch or lunch . The presentation of the food was superb and beautiful. The flavours of the food matched the presentation as well. In fact the “chefs breakfast” with 2 eggs, roasted tomato, extra thick bacon, special fingerling potatoes and much more, was so scrumptious I am still savouring that meal several days later . We also enjoyed the avocado smash. I thought their unique house made cardamom and brown sugar latte was amongst the best espresso beverages I have ever had and I look forward to experimenting with making my own syrup. They’ve done a great job of decorating the space and creating a bright welcoming space and I only wish I lived closer to this amazing cafe.“
“I recently ordered a 2lbs bag of Camber's Skyline Espresso, and it was stellar. When I pulled my first shot, there was complexity and approachability with notes of stone fruit and floral undertones. Not only was the espresso itself exceptional, but the service from Camber was top-notch as well. The shipping was incredibly fast, with my order arriving within just two days of placing it. Not to mention, their packaging was aesthetically very pleasing-- the mailing box and the beans themselves were a thematic package and even came with a complimentary, pocket-sized coffee journal. It's clear that Camber takes pride in their product. After experiencing the quality of their Skyline Espresso, I can't wait to explore more of Camber's offerings and hope for the opportunity to visit their coffee shop in person in the near future!“
“Been coming here for ages so it’s high time to leave a review! I love Adagio — it’s my third place. I come here almost every other day to write for a few hours in the morning. The coffee is always good, the pastries are delicious, there’s ample seating and even on busy mornings, I’ve never not been able to snag a table. The atmosphere is great. It’s low key, friendly, and relaxed. 10/10 best coffee shop in town.“
“Best cold brew in Bellingham, even better than what I can make at home. I don't know what their secret is but it's good. I love how they have a punch card. The baristas are always friendly and accurate. They have good breakfast sandwiches too if you missed breakfast.“
“I LOVE this place! The most delicious gelato I've ever had, literally to die for. My favorite flavor is their pistachio, but honestly, all of them are soo good. They let you try as many samples so don't be shy! Most of all, though, the thing that makes this place stand out is their service. The most nicest workers I have had the pleasure of meeting. So generous and kind and understanding. There's this one worker in particular who works on Saturdays, and she is just such a kind soul. Beautiful inside and out. Please give this girl a raise. I'd trust her with my kids. Not only this, but I had to call the place once and she answered promptly and so kindly. Too bad she has a boyfriend :/. Needless to say, everyone should try this place out. You'll fall in love.“
“Firehouse has a super pleasant atmosphere inside and out, plus a very pleasant staff. Inside is a wood burning fireplace usually kept going in colder weather. Outside is an amazing sycamore tree which has been allowed to spread its branches: if the Buddha had lived in Bellingham this is the tree under which he would have been enlightened. A downside on the inside is that space is limited, and it can get crowded. The espresso drinks are good, not great. The menu is limited and neither inspired nor inspiring. Too, there is no way to find out what the day''s offering is either by internet or my phone.“
“Makeworth Coffee Roasters in Bellingham is an environment you’re naturally drawn to, much like a wild horse is drawn to the high plains of North America. It is a space where the mind & soul can gallop and make figurative horse noises free from the worry that characterizes modern day life., For that, I must rate Makeworth Coffee Roasters 5 out of 5 stars, and put this establishment in the top rank of my Bellingham Coffee roaster tier list.“
“I can't wait to return here ! Northern Italian food menu delightful !Indoors seating is tight for space but outside courtyard is open now Spring n Summer in the way w Jazz music.Bar Cicotti is a Coffee Bar in daytime, Wine Bar evening. Just like it would be in Italy.Parking: Bellingham now all downtown Meter parking now $1.50 per hour can use your Bank card right at these meters“
“Many different chocolate and drink options. The inside of the raspberry truffle was almost sorbet-like and was by far our favorite thing. The sipping chocolate was incredibly rich and I'd say the 4 oz size is all that's needed for one person. I was grateful they had mugs and for-here-ware so we could stick around the shop. We most enjoyed the comfy swivel chairs and electric fireplace. We stopped here on a whim but would plan to visit the next time we're in Bellingham.“
“Love this place! Just had a delicious tuna melt there today which was their daily special. It was delicious with lots of purple onions and a great pickle slice on the side. They also make delicious charcuterie trays and in house New York cheesecake which is also the bomb!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian selections.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating and welcoming staff.“
“If you know me, you know that I won’t show up anywhere without a drink in hand. I love going to all local shops but I find myself coming to this specific woods, purely because I leave feeling happy. The staff are so kind and genuine, and nail my drink every time. Thankful they’re so close to my office, as we love getting our office orders here - the mobile order option is so handy. Highly recommend!“
“Oh my goodness is it just me or is this place the happiest coffee shop this side of the great N.W. I just had their Rasberry Scone. Yum, yum yum :). It was not dry at ALL. They even warmed it for me I wish every place was so welcoming. My white Mocha is the bomb. Cars are lining up (it's no wonder). The owner must really care about people and the business. There was even an early homeless guy that came in and they were as pleasant as could be. I hope the owner/manager realizes what a Blessing this place is. Makes me want to bring this to where I live.“
“This is a great little neighborhood, coffee shop and beer watering hole. The atmosphere is great, and it is a good place to meet a friend or coworkers. The service was great, and they had a good selection of beers, and my latte was exceptional. I will definitely be going back.“
“*Update*5 years later - still my go to coffee stand - every barista there is fantastic. I have since switched to oat milk but they continue to make me not miss milk in my coffee.I go here for the great coffee and for Sammy. ??Not only do I always have great conversations with her but she's the only barista I've had who can steam soy and make it almost taste like I'm not lactose intolerance.“
“Just want to let everyone know there are new owners as of August 28th 2018. We're told the European style pastries handcrafted by the co-owner/pastry chef are incredible! We've got breakfast burritos and handmade wraps, ( including veggie and vegan options), made with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. We've switched to locally sourced, organic coffee and teas from Fidalgo Bay Roasters out of Anacortes. We're all about offering healthy alternatives in a beautiful setting with great music and smiling faces.Stop by and check us out. Our hours are updated on Google and posted on the door of the coffee shop!“
“Stopped in to grab a coffee quickly on a day trip down from Vancouver. What a lovely little spot! I typically don't go for speciality lattes because they're usually just too sweet or overpowering but I decided to try the honeybee latte which was really wonderful! I enjoyed the quiet ambiance and had fun browsing the pottery and smelling all the scented candles for sale while I waited for my drink to be prepared.“
“This place is awesome. Amazing food, drinks, and especially the service. We were with a friend who’s nickname is bean!! So we had to stop for bean at the bean stop.We bought 2 of the jumbo cups last year and they are awesome. We recently lost one and we were hoping to get it online. We know it’s not available but hopefully one day. We will definitely order it!!“
“Was waiting for our train and decided to try out this coffee shop, which shares the same building as Amtrak station. The shop is quite small, but it's cute! Ordered a iced latte. Friendly and quick service. Enjoyed my coffee during my train ride! Would definitely stop by when I'm in town!“
“I spent a year in France, and a few of the pâtisseries were as good as The Iron Rooster, but NONE were better. Everything sold there is handcrafted with the best ingredients, and there is always a nice assortment from which to choose. Really wonderful !!“
“I love this place! I used to come here every day or so when I lived in Alger. We need a location in Bellingham. I will drive from Bellingham to Alger, just to have my craving fulfilled. They have the best recipes for their drinks. You can look on their Facebook page for some options too.My favorite drinks are the Charlie Brown Latte and the German Cake Latte. Flavored redbull drinks are always good too. ??“
“Well first of all, the food is excellent! I always get the hot chocolate, and they always know how to prepare it. For the service, I'm actually friends with some people there, so they know me pretty well. They have a nice little building where they make their drinks and food, and that really ties it all together.“
“It’s always a treat coming here! They such amazing crepes and coffee. I’m also a big fan of the fact they use polish pottery when serving you your hot drinks. The crepes aren’t necessarily like a French crepe, so I wouldn’t come in with that expectation.“
“I really like your coffee and staff. The last few times I've gotten sandwiches or bagels there have been issues. I got a sandwich on a croissant and the whole thing fell apart. I got a bagel today and there was so much cream cheese. I like cream cheese, but it was way too much and a mess to try and eat.“
“Great teas & boba! I just wish they would display prices for all their products. It makes me uncomfortable having to ask the pricing for every single loose tea mix. I’ve had multiple boba drinks here and they have all been good. I’ve also gotten multiple loose teas here and they’re delicious.“
“Great coffee and great service. We wouldn’t know how great of service if it wasn’t for my son spilling his drink everywhere. They were so kind about clean-up and replacing that drink.Sorry Woods!+ Cheers from Canada!+ don’t think we’re all so clumsy.“
“The taste of donuts alone is a five, one of the best donuts I've had! They keep the menu simple and straightforward. Card charge for every purchase seemed excessive so think about bringing cash if you can. Service wasn't rude but wasn't welcoming either; it's a donut place so you want something straightforward anyway. If the donuts didn't taste so good, well proportioned and priced, the stars on this review would be way lower because sadly the place wasn't very clean. They had limited seating in the first place and it just didn't seem like things get wiped down frequently. This may not bother someone who is on the go.“
“Bellingham's lucky to have a place like Cafe velo. I broke a spoke the day I was leaving for a trip to gravel ride on the east side. Andrew was super nice and fit me in for repair. He is clearly talented repairing bikes but just as important to me, he is super approachable and friendly!....“
“The Hallibut Fish and Chips was not as good as the Go Fish in Vancouver, Canada, but the atmosphere and service were great. The Schooner docked at Port was amazing to see. The views were excellent. The best part is to have the option to eat inside and avoid seagull bombs. Overall, it was a really great experience.“
“We recently visited WOODS Coffee at Boulevard Park, and it became our go-to spot for grabbing a coffee when we are heading south. We felt warmth and coziness when we stepped into the lodge-style café with its large fireplace and an upper mezzanine perfect for quiet moments. After enjoying our coffees in this charming atmosphere, we took a leisurely walk along the South Bay trail. The simplicity of the walk, paired with the stunning waterfront views of Bellingham, made it an unforgettable experience that we will cherish. If you are looking for a cozy café and a scenic stroll, WOODS Coffee at Boulevard Park is the place to be! ☕️????Ambiance: ????Service: ????????Activities: Difficulties: ?Kids: ???? “Great spot, kind of trendy. It has nice tasting coffee and tea. It's very clean with comfy chairsThey have a nice outside area as well. Cool interior!Parking: Easy to find a spot because it's on the fringe of town and a neighborhood.“
“Me and my boyfriend go here everyday. Best redbull sodas in town and the best staff, so friendly and caring. They have remembered our orders for months and most times will have it already made when we get to the window with a friendly check-in. Thank you guys for fueling my caffeine needs!“
“They stayed open on Christmas Day. The staff who were there volunteered to do so. They were one of two open Starbucks in Bellingham. I have to say they were quite amazing. They had someone outside taking orders (Since the lobby was closed when I came) a nice lady talking to people through the door. It was really homey, but crazy busy. Thanks for the extra effort. I really appreciated it.“
“Growing up in Bellingham, woods has always been my favorite place to get coffee. We love coming here when we visit. The interior aesthetic vibes are super cozy and the coffee, selections and service are all amazing! 5/5 Stars! Highly recommend.“
“I am a local mortgage lender and have been coming to this Starbucks for 8+ years. My office is right up the street. Very friendly staff and very efficient service for how busy this location can get. Great spot to plug in and work as well as it’s one of the last “sit down” Starbucks in the area. Barkley village is also a nice area to walk dogs/kids/bike ride and this Starbucks is right by a trail system.“
“Needed a coffee so I stopped by. I go maybe once every 2 weeks. Of course there is a line, its morning. It's now my turn and they had it already to go!! Nice work ladies!! And thank you so much for all you do, you're saving lives one cup at a time! Super grateful for you!! THANK YOU!!!“
“We absolutely love Woods Coffee! It offers an experience similar to Starbucks but surpasses it with superior products across the board. The coffee, in particular, is a standout – it's significantly better, offering a rich and robust flavor that coffee enthusiasts will appreciate. The ambiance of Woods Coffee is uniquely themed, embodying a quintessential Pacific Northwest vibe. This theme creates a warm, inviting, and family-friendly atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both solo visits and family outings. The service at Woods Coffee is consistently good and exudes friendliness. Each visit feels welcoming, with staff members who are both attentive and cheerful, enhancing the overall coffee experience. Additionally, their merchandising is fantastic. If you're looking for unique souvenirs or gifts, Woods Coffee has a variety of high-quality merchandise that captures the essence of the brand and the Pacific Northwest. An important aspect that adds to the charm of Woods Coffee is the fact that it is locally owned and operated. This local ownership brings a lot of intrinsic value to the establishment. It contributes to the community's economy and provides a sense of connection and pride for local patrons. It’s not just a coffee shop; it's a part of the community's identity. In summary, Woods Coffee is more than just a place for great coffee; it’s a local treasure that offers an exceptional experience, superior products, and a strong community feel.Big fans.Vegetarian options: All the alternative milk options you'd expect (almond, oat, etc).Dietary restrictions: So many options, you're sure to find something that works for almost any diet even if it's a tea or soft drink type alternative.Parking: Tons of parking in the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Great for kids, lots of fun options.Wheelchair accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible.“
“This is by far the best coffee in town. They know how to source quality beans and make amazing beverages. I’m not a huge fan of the food or the pricing for the food. The environment is a bit cramped and they always take a long time to get you your order. If you want it to go, be sure to mention it to the barista. Even if it’s completely full inside they will automatically give you a “for here” cup.“
