“You really can't beat their presentation. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Their staff is amazing. Super friendly and service is great. We come here as a family with a 14 month old and they are super sweet to her. She loves them. It's a wonderful restaurant. Definitely our go to sushi place.“

“I primarily visited here due to the high reviews and wasn't disappointed. The sushi is outstanding, especially the black rock sushi and miso. What we ordered was more memorable than a lot of the sushi we get in Seattle. Service and location are great, too. I'll be back for more during my next visit to Canada.“

“You're Back !!! Due to the fire it's our first chance back. 5 of us did lunch today and my 5 Star Rating from 2 years ago is still Relevant today. Very pleasing atmosphere and gracious service. Our lunch was very satisfying. The menu includes all the favorites when it comes to sushi and more when you consider the Korean shortrib...we did lunch and it was all fresh and tasty. Will look forward to dining at "Nami" again.“

“Came in to grab a quick bite after work, the interior is lovely, plus the staff is very attentive & welcoming. We opted for the yam tempura roll and avocado roll, based on our server’s suggestion for vegetarians. They also gave us complimentary edamame. Throughly enjoyed our experience!“

“I ordered omakase nigiri, mackerel and eel hako sushi, black cod saikyo yaki, and agedashi-tofu to takeout for our anniversary dinner. All of them are amazing! Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! If you are looking for the real Japanese amazing sushi, I strongly recommend Yugafu!“

“Wow, very surprised for authentic Japanese food here in white rock!! Not touristy, it was all full at 530pm on a Friday but the owner greeted and apologized and explained that they only had 6 tables. We changed to take out instead and the food was amazing. The tempura was perfect, beef sashimi was delicious ! Will definitely become our go to place for sushi in white rock.“

“What can I say about Shushi Musa, as they continue to amaze with their quick service and food quality. So far, this is the best Shushi place in the area and trust me, I am very selective when it comes to food; Shushi is always delicious (and top notch) and also, just at the right price. Very clean inside and thoughtfully decorated; perfect for a family or other type of fine dining experience. I'm hoping they will open on Sundays in the future, again no complaints.Vegetarian options: The size of each Shushi roll with a sufficient quantity of food is definitely filling.Parking: Adequate parking and easily accessible location.“

“Wow, Tawara really knocked it out of the park on my first visit! The staff was super welcoming and even surprised us with a free appetizer that was absolutely scrumptious. The sushi? Incredible! Each roll was a work of art, both in taste and presentation. I’m already planning my next visit—highly recommend checking this place out!“

“Food was great but the best thing about this restaurant is their staff! I had left my engagement ring in the bathroom after washing my hands. I realized it was gone when I came home and called Ato sushi right away. The server confirmed that she found it in the bathroom. The level of honesty baffled, me and it really reflects the values of this business. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your honesty! I truly appreciate it and the food was great and fresh! You have the best team! We are so lucky to have a restaurant like this in our neighborhood“

“First time coming here and the service was amazing. The lady serving us was so nice and welcoming. I had miso soup, the tuna and salmon combo with yam tempura and it was all delicious. Since it was my birthday, I also got 2 mochi ice cream! The decorations and everything were also very cool and interesting.“

“My husband and I absolutely adore coming to this place. When we crave sushi, this is the only place we go, even though we live in Burnaby, and the journey isn't short. But it's totally worth it!!! The food here is incredibly delicious! Everything we've ordered has been not only tasty but also beautifully presented!!! I can confidently say that these are the most delicious sushi I've ever had. We lived in Toronto for many years, moved to Vancouver last year, and it's only at Chef Sushi that I've truly appreciated this cuisine. I don't know what these guys put in their dishes, but everything they serve is just unreal!!!! Also, the people working there are all very kind and positive!!! They exude great energy!!! It always feels like the food was prepared by a loving mother!!! Highly recommend!!“

“It's always a delight to stumble upon a hidden gem of a restaurant, especially when the ambiance and food both contribute to a memorable dining experience. The personal touch of the owner greeting you with a pleasant smile adds to the charm of the place. The California roll exceeded my expectations, and the sashimi was a true highlight. The simplicity and quality of the food perfectly matched the restaurant's name, 'Nice Sushi'.“

“Happy we found such a great sushi place in the area. The food is delicious and the staff are so wonderful - especially with our girls! We were there for takeout and in our 10 minute stay we left with two balloon animals and an origami heart ring for our toddler. Just so lovely all around.“

“A Birthday dinner for our adult sons day. He and his wife chose this place and what a fabulous choice!! We had never been but we will certainly be going again. The food was absolutely incredible. The service was not the best but I think the waitress was new and like many places they were a bit understaffed. The food made up for it though and the prices are reasonable.Parking: Across the street at municipal lot“

“Quality for cost here is great. Very homey restaurant with 4 small tables for seating. I was the most surprised by the pricing. The prices were good, you can get a sashimi dinner boat for 21$! There’s a lot of great combos. The sashimi was quite fresh and the rolls were good. I’m picky about sunomono, this one was average and passed the test. Scallop roll was good. Miso soup was a bit diluted but I’d still drink it. The owner is a warm and polite lady. Two of us shared a Sushi Sashimi Dinner Boat, scallop roll and salmon avocado roll - $40 after tip. I would definitely come again for these great prices. Highly recommend.“

“We are relatively new to the area and have already identified this place as our favourite for dine in or take out sushi. After eating there just once, Amy (our server) remembered what we had ordered! We find Amy to be very quick to assist us, and to gauge whether we need a top up of tea; in addition, she always greets us with a smile and never rushes us at the end of a meal. The food is very fresh, and the prices are reasonable. Someone mentioned that they are generous with the pickled ginger and we concur.Eating here is a real treat and we will continue to recommend both Amy and this lovely restaurant!“

“After our fifth run at this location, the sushi presentations are excellent. The rolls are tight, good portion to price, and neat. This has been now our place to dine or order pick up as the dishes are prepared and consistently done right. I finally ordered assorted tempura as take out and they separated it from other packaging. Basically on its own plastic bag so they are warm and crispy. Will add photos next round as too anxious to eat.“

“I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“

“Great service, the couple that I’m assuming own and run the place are really nice. The pricing is a lot better than some other places in the area. It’s not really a dine in place, the food is fresh and the service is quick, what more can you ask for…I will be coming back here more often when I am in the area.“

“Had a great dining experience, nice ambiance and tasteful decorations.Perfectly prepared specialty rolls with a variety of flavors and textures. We appreciate a bit of heat so it was nice to have the West Coast, 911, and jalapeño rolls for that satisfying kick. They take a lot of care in preparation and presentation. Our kids couldn’t resist the freshness of the salmon sashimi and devoured it. Moreover, the tempura was flawlessly fried to a golden crisp. My personal favorite was the Salmon Oshi with a savory and lightly flame kissed flavor. The restaurant not only excels in crafting delectable dishes but also in creating an inviting atmosphere. It’s evident that the culinary team takes pride in delivering top-notch quality. Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit to savor more of their culinary delights. A gem for both sushi enthusiasts and those seeking a serene dining haven.Kid-friendliness: Our kids love booths.“

“I have to say, Maguroguy is my favourite sushi restaurant in South Surrey.1.) The Staff: Super friendly, attentive, and you are served your food in a reasonable time frame.2.) The FOOD: There is nothing like biting into your sushi and knowing by the taste that the food is fresh and made with care. I really have never eaten anything sub-par here.3.) Ample Parking: Accessibility is great here for everyone.Definitely visit here, but I’ve even ordered from Uber Eats here and the food came quickly and tasted JUST AS DELICIOUS!“

“If you’re local come here for the weekend around brunch and you will feel at peace even on a stormy day. it’s kinda cold ladies so bring a cardigan even in summer. Hot night roll, chicken karage, and tempura are perfect. Avoid aburi sushi/oshi sushi as it tastes mediocre compared to other places. All appetizers were welcoming and tasty. The best part of this place is the quiet calm atmosphere. In a place like Surrey where there’s so many take out places or dine in options this sit in experience reminded me of being at your grandparents house and having them cook you a warm meal. The atmosphere deserves an award itself. Every time I come here it makes me genuinely happy and I assure you it will do the same for you if you are a decent person with a heart- if you’re a sociopath avoid this place because you don’t deserve the warmth of this cute restaurant. Tea and miso soup also 10/10.“

“I've been to Haru on and off of the last few years, but the team they have in there now is the best so far. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The food is also awesome! “This is our go to Japanese place in the area and for good reason. The prices are great and the portions are reasonable. I ordered the Sashimi and Sushi Roll Combo while my boyfriend got the Spicy Chicken Yaki Udon and he found it spicy last time so he asked for it with less spice. Patrons be warned it is spicy!! We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal as always with Hitori. ☺️“

“Mary is my go to Teriyaki chicken restaurant in the Langley area. The portions are large. The teriyaki sauce is yummy. The sauce makes a big difference. The staff are attentive and polite. Pence you find a gem there is no point in going anywhere else. The prices are good. I believe it was about $35.00 for 2 teriyaki chicken don buri which is fair. I highly recommend Mary as there are many I have tried many before I settle on my fave. This is a winner. They give you a nice side portion size of Miso soup for each meal with your order.Vegetarian options: It’s a Sushi restaurant and they are very open to listening to how you want your meal prepared.“

“It is always good. What Makes me want to put in this review is the waitress made a mistake on our order and came back to tell us she made a mistake and food will arrive shortly. She was very humble to admit her mistake and she was not afraid to come and tell us the mistake was made. It is very hard to find such great people working in the restaurant industry. I did not catch her name but she will know who she is.“

“We walk to the location. Very small but huge for my partner and I as we comment on how many orders go out by door to door services as we St and get personal service with treats that do not come with couriers. I still like service to my home but we need fresh air!Parking: Do not park in front of the restaurant door as there is no public parking and it is only intended for pickups.Parking is plenty at 64th and Scott Road Delta Side with lots of other shopping pleasures!“

“As a person who has been to Japan for ramen, I highly recommend this place. In my honest opinion, this place can be called one of the best ramen places in Greater Vancouver. First, their broths are thick and well seasoned. In the Japanese standard, customers are supposed to drink up the soup if the ramen is one of a kind. Therefore I did at Menzou. Second, they have some unique ideas for making chashu (Japanese ramen pork cutlet), a very flavorful smoky thick cut and a bacon-like thin cut as an experiment. In the end, the amount of chopped green onion they put, and the service deeply impressed me. The owner Jason who is also the chef, is an awesome person. I believe he would love to chitchat with you when you visit.Parking: It’s in a plaza so there are plenty of parking spots within walking distance.“

“I stopped here for lunch after driving from Seattle and just past the Canadian border. It was my first time there, but I found it right away and was able to park for free. The interior of the store is very beautiful, decorated to resemble cherry blossoms in full bloom. The staff are also friendly and pleasant. It was nice to have hot tea served in a cast iron pot. I ordered sashimi and roll combo from Mori's lunch special. The sashimi was fresh and cut thickly, which impressed me. After eating the sashimi I was too full to eat the roll so I took it my friend place. I'd like to stop by again next time I visit VancouverParking: There is plenty of parking available near the restaurant.“

“The sushi is the freshest you will get anywhere and their portions are generous while the price is very reasonable. We've been three times lately and it's always great. The restaurant is a hole-in-the-wall type, so not much they can do to make it glamourous, but it is so worthwhile.Parking: Its at the edge of a mall so lots of parking, or if you live in Newton Village, very walkable.“

“Overall the food, portion, and atmosphere was great. I just couldnt justify giving 5 stars because the steak was okay at best (when compared to a traditional steakhouse). The scallops and shrimp were really fresh and tasty. Be prepared to wait a little as they don't start cooking until the whole table is filled.“

“I live in Canada (I'm American, grew up in Whatcom county but live in Canada now) and I had an hour to kill so I decided to try this place as I was walking around. Hands down the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had. It tastes homemade, doesn't taste like it's chalked full of msg, it was fresh and delicious. The owner was very sweet, too.
