After watching the Italy episode of "Somebody Feed Phil" and his reaction to enjoying gelato I was curious about this thing. Could it be as wonderful is Phil said? Was it just an act? This was my first experience trying Gelato, and I went with a friend of mine who has had gelato before. The selection was a bit odd as they didn't have normal flavors (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), but nonetheless, we tried it, and it seemed a bit dry. It left me feeling like I had cotton mouth after eating it. Not bad. 3.5 starts. I've had gelato made by Italians that are graduates of the Gelato University in Italy. This gelato is not as good, but it is passable. The flavors are good, the consistency and texture is just a bit too airy, but not much. I think it is worthy to eat.5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good.
