“We went here for a late lunch last week. We were immediately seated. Server was attentive and nice. We got the miso ramen, tempura rice bowl, the spinach gomae, the chilled tofu, chicken karaage, and edamame. The food came out relatively fast. My son loves this place, and he said that this place did not disappoint. My husband and I are don’t like ramen that much, so we got the side dishes. The food was good, however it was very salty and filling, especially the tempura rice bowl, that we did not eat dinner. Overall, nice place if you’re craving Japanese food at on the mall, but if you don’t like salty food, this place may not be for you.“
“Arashi is my go to ramen spot so far in WA. I have tried quite a few places here and I've had ramen in Japan and Hawaii. I would say Arashi is the most on par with the better of ramens I've had. It's my go to spot whether alone or with people for a cold day. The Ballard location is hard to find parking and quite small so I like this location in terms of parking and size. The main con is definitely how pricey it is for noodles. It's at-least around $20 a person but that garlic broth is just the best so far.“
“Got terriyaki chicken with rice... which they steam... it was not edible... I sent it back and not one employee offered a menu luckily they took it off the bill Chips and dip had no flavor The rest of my family like the ramen... they use egg noodles so I couldn't try it The fried chicken isn't cooked the way its supposed to be. It's supposed to be double fried to be crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Instead it was a normal fry and the chicken inside was over cooked Service was lack luster and they really don't care or know how to respond to their food just not being good I'd recommend grilling instead of steaming your chicken and seasoning it while cook. Salt would go a long way...“
