“Enjoyed the food, friendliness, and the atmosphere. John, Glenda & Katy spice up the place with their playful banter behind the counter and keep the guests (and themselves) entertained. Try all the different flavors of ciders/etc. There's always something new on tap! Keep an eye out for the gnomes... those suckers are mischievous!”

“Sunday October 15th, 2023. Pouring down rain- these guys made us welcome and fed us some awesome BBQ. I had the brisket, my wife had chicken. Coleslaw, creamed corn and baked beans were all very good . We will be back!”

“What a great find! Wonderful little place. Hidden, off the main road, and so worth the effort to find it. The service was top notch, the food was so tasty! Wonderful experience. Next time I am in Forks I will for sure be eating here again.”

“Awesome place to stop if you're driving through the town on your way to a nearby hike/park or honestly just in general. Food was varied and really solid. Like many places, they were a little short staffed which meant that the tables weren't that consistently clean (still totally fine after a quick napkin wipe) but the food came out at a totally reasonable time. Clean bathrooms. The soft serve hit the spot, though advise doing the chocolate dip instead of the sprinkles!”

“I recently tried the Mexican food truck in Forks, and I was impressed by their efficient service and decent tacos. The quick preparation of my order made it perfect for a fast meal, and although the outdoor seating was basic, it created a relaxed atmosphere. It's a great spot for a casual, no-frills taco experience with friends or for a quick solo bite. I would recommend stopping by!”

“Amazing food, Extremely kind, and accommodating boss from Guangdong province, China!We were here for a short trip and were craving chinese food so we had come in, however we wanted to ask the boss his personal recommendations and he picked out and made a custom dish, and a couple menu dishes to fit our chinese taste (based on our hometown), We thought this was extremely kind of him to do as he went out of his way to accommodate us.The actual food was fantastic, and we really enjoyed every dish. They were very busy with a large rush and also a constant stream of take out / delivery orders but our waiter was very kind and accommodating for how busy it was. Everyone here is extremely kind and welcoming, and in our opinion, the dishes were authentic and very traditional to guangzhou style cooking.”

“Went today and loved the vibe, food and service. We order spaghetti and meatballs and rigatoni pasta, they were delicious. To be honest 10/10. The price was within our expectations and with the food quality its totally worth it! Recommended!”

“We arrived on a Thursday afternoon so it was not very busy. very nice decorated with scenes of local things, very clean and nice, good service and good food, I ordered fish and chips and it was VERY good! super fresh and it wasn't greasy so excellent”

“I was shocked to find a vegan friendly restaurant in Forks!! Thank goodness for Golden Gate!! We pulled up and they had just opened so the large parking lot was empty! We were seated right away, and the server was very friendly. The atmosphere was cute and had very nostalgic Chinese restaurant vibes. We ordered the General Tso's tofu, Chow Mein, and spring rolls as an appetizer. The spring rolls were nice and hot and crispy. They had a good sweet and sour sauce to dip them in. The tofu was flavorful and a great texture. The chow mein was also really good. The portions were huge so my husband and I split the meals and had a full large takeout box left to go! The waitress asked if we were vegan while she took our order so this place is very accomodating and aware of vegans needs which is so refreshing! My husband and I both recommend this place if you are a vegan or vegetarian eating in Forks!Vegetarian options: There are tons of vegan and vegetarian options in a clearly marked section on the menu.Dietary restrictions: This restaurant is vegan friendly so plenty of options without meat or dairy!Parking: There is a large free parking lot right in front of the door to the building.”
