“A nice little brewery just outside of the small city of Sooke. We got to try out some craft beers here, plus get a free tour behind the Bad Dog brewing station with an employee explaining their process. It was satisfying for the drinks, and educational at the same time! My favourite was the Peel, and my least favourite was the Kona because that was the strongest and most bitter ...The place wasn't busy when we visited, with ample indoor and outdoor seating. There's also a cart selling food outside, and washrooms. Being surrounded by greenery and nature was nice too. It's worth driving up here if you're looking for good craft beer in Sooke! ?”

“Great building and great beer. The seating inside was a little awkward and felt cramped. The patio was well set up and open. All the beers we tried were well done and the service was good even though it was bar service only.”

“Where to start!!!! The service was exceptional, very welcoming and helpful. The food was out of this world. I know good coffee is good coffee, but this place does it right. It is a must to have on your places to go to whether you live there, visiting or just passing through.”

“First time at this Restaurant, shared 2 appetizers , the Fire Cracker Shrimp and the Calamari. Both were cooked very well and not overcooked which is easy to do with these 2 items. Also had the Fish and Chips , home cut fries and lightly battered fish , was very good, coleslaw was very bland. Overall 4 /5 for this establishment .”

“Meat eaters and vegans were all very happy here! They offer vegan cheese and veggie ground "beef", and are happy to substitute or put sauces on the sides for folks who didn't want as much spice. Warning--the burrito bowl was MASSIVE! The service was really prompt and friendly. All in all, a great place for lunch!”

“We loved our dinner at Wild Mountain, we snuck in early and were seated at a beautiful table with a view you can’t beat. Our meal was delicious start to finish, and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Wild Mountain has a wonderful team running this restaurant. The pizza was so good we ordered another one to go. Plenty of non alcoholic beverages to choose from, they were all unique and tasty. I enjoyed making my way through the list. Can’t wait for our next visit.”

“We tried the calamari and the prawns and they were both so good! An amazing value during happy hour! Also Erin makes a mean old fashion. She took so much care in doing it right. It showed in the flavour. She definitely made our night, so we had to come back again when she was working a couple days later.”

“Fantastic variety of comfort/Asian food cooked in Japanese style, which is consistently delicious. We’ve been getting takeout here for years, never any quality issues. Very friendly couple runs the place, and are dependable for pickup times. Highly recommend for takeout.Favorites: Beef yakisoba, chicken katsu, spicy fried chicken, fried dumplings”

“Stopped by this charming food truck, serving the best comfort food in sooke. Sandwiched in between a surf shop and brewery. We had a pulled pork Mac and cheese and a grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was like taking a delicious cheesy train to heaven each gooey bite was delectable and the portions left us full and warm. Absolutely the most flavourful and delicious tomato soup I've ever had and the grilled cheese was done to perfection 10 out of 10. Can't wait to come back.”
