This is also my neighborhood Starbucks. I was just looking up the opening time when I stumbled on my neighbors (B.V, 6/2016) completely obnoxious post giving this Starbucks 1 star review. You ask if "they understand English?" Do you understand that they serve sugars and stir sticks at the bar all day long? This is not a drive-thru. Get over yourself.
Starbucks was located in the Swedish medical center. It was quite busy but the staff was friendly and efficient. They ran out of ingredient for a smoothie so ordered a peach green tea ice tea which was mostly ice :(

This Starbucks sees more than your average number of customer due to it being inside of Swedish Hospital. The staff there is extremely nice and try their hardest to keep up with the demand. I work at Swedish and get coffee every morning. These people work their tails off keeping up with demand, I'd give them more stars if could!
