“We love this place and haven’t had anything we didn’t like!! Great food. However….. make sure you dress warm… they have blankets you can throw over you but it is still pretty chilly in there.”
“Fantastic food, patient/polite waiters, great ambience, super polite hosts clean & fresh...Masthi is great place for groups of whether 5 or 50....Kudos to this place!”
“Visited for the weekend buffet, and it was fantastic! Food was fresh and well prepared, and very delicious! Nice looking large dining room, and fantastic service. Glad to have tried this place, and very much looking forward to returning!
Vegetarian options: Nearly all of their dishes can be made in vegetarian style
Dietary restrictions: They have a number of options for those with dietary restrictions
Parking: Small parking lot with probably 10 or so spaces available.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely kid friendly if they happen to be an adventurous eater (though I do believe the standard menu has some fair for perhaps the more picky eater)
Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible to those with mobility impairments”

“Loved our experience here! We've been living up north (Woodinville & Bothell) for a few years, and we came to Issaquah to pick up some merchandise and decided to stop in for lunch. Worth it! We've been looking for a good Chinese restaurant and, while we haven't explored fully yet ALL the selections nearby, this one was a pleasant surprise. No-frills atmosphere gets 5 stars from me because: Who goes to a Chinese restaurant for plush accommodations? Friendly and fast staff - we will be coming back again!”
“BEER! BEER! BEER! Constantly updated and rotating beer menu where I can always find a drink to suit my taste buds.
A killer menu of local favorites and classics with an evver changing specials menu of consistent deliciousness.
Seating a plenty and waited by some of the best staff.”

“I’ve been going here since I was around 7 and have seen it go through so many different managements to build it up to what it is today and it’s so impressive! From plastic, white chairs and tables under harsh white lights to a comforting environment with fish tanks and water as well as booth seating. The food never disappoints (i’m a regular), the employees are very attentive and polite, and the wait for food is never long even on really busy days. I wanted to write this review to thank the restaurant for all the great years of dining!!”
“We had the crab ravioli and wild boar. I have been searching for the perfect pappardelle. Found it. We were fighting over whose entree was the best! Service, atmosphere, everything was beyond amazing! We were surprised at the extremely special touches for our occasion. We had been wanting to go for so long but for us it’s a jaunt with our schedules. So we planned our whole anniversary around the Montalcino and its sister restaurant Vivi. (Separate review) The Falls and other fun things were a bonus! Definitely worth the hotel and drive! It wouldn’t let me post the pics 😢”
“Levant Café is a delightful, rustic French-Levantine-Turkish gem nestled in Issaquah’s historic Gilman Village, conveniently near I-90 for easy access.
This charming café, run by a lovely Syrian couple, exudes warm hospitality and a unique ambiance. The space features colorful couches, Turkish-inspired décor, high ceilings with skylights, an open kitchen, and cozy outdoor seating perfect for summer relaxation. It’s an ideal spot to unwind and soak in the lazy, tranquil vibes.
The menu is fully halal and offers a delightful mix of flavors. Their standout item is the Savory Shawarma Crepes, a fusion of French and Levantine cuisines.
Other options include:
French sweet Crepes
Middle Eastern Platters
Healthy Smoothies
Turkish Coffee
Baklava and Turkish Delights
Each season brings its charm here—whether it’s basking in the sun during summer or enjoying cozy vibes in winter and spring.
What I tried:
Falafel Crepe: Absolutely delicious!
Beef Crepe: Tasty but slightly dry.
Nutella Crepe: Classic and satisfying.
Green Juice: Healthy and refreshing.
Prices are on the steeper side, which brings it to a 4-star experience for me. However, the serene ambiance and unique fusion menu make this a must-visit café that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. Don’t miss it!”

“This place is awesome for Japanese food in downtown Issaquah! The owner’s super friendly and runs everything himself, which makes it feel extra personal. Great prices for tasty, no-frills dishes you won’t usually find around here. Don’t come expecting fancy, just solid, delicious food.”
“Bento-ya Goemon Authentic Japanese food....been looking for good Japanese food close by! So very glad we found this take-out restaurant! I had the Salmon Bento box, cooked perfectly moist & lightly seasoned....everything freshly made! I definitely will be back! 5 star Rating!”

“We love this restaurant and return often. Great staff, consistently delicious food favorites, decent price, excellent service. Thank you!”
“best sushi/japanese.in issaquah. Great food, service and amazing rolls.”
“Found my new go to Korean spot! Their Galbi Tang is very good especially paired with the radish kimchi. I normally don't find the banchan sets at other korean restaurants to be very good, but Danji seems to have it figured out (Especially the Kimchi). The Yangnyeom chicken is definitely up there as well in terms of flavor and crispiness.”

“Celiac and Gluten sensitive people, here's a gem of a restaurant! Very cozy and friendly atmosphere, staff are all very friendly and helpful. LOTS of gluten free options for all courses. As someone who is highly gluten sensitive/borderline Celiac, I have not had any negative experiences here (having had 3-course meals.) So far I have enjoyed brunch and a dining experience and every item has been delicious! Looking forward to many more visits to come!”
“This is a family owned wine bar and live music venue that has just passed its 18th anniversary is a fixture in downtown Issaquah.
The interior design of this wine bar is exceptional, historic, rustic and elegant. Featuring rotating artwork from local artists, interesting custom metal work, an exceptional wine list, full cocktail bar and a scratch kitchen.”
“AMAZING! MUY BIEN! Best margaritas in town. And never before have I enjoyed such phenomenal cocktails showcasing the diversity of tequila. Mike, the bar manager, constantly blows me away with his ingenuitive creations and crafts. And if Mikes not there? A dedicated, kind, and knowledgable staff can recreate it all and offer such a joyful time with their humor and conversation.
Now for the food.... I dont think I know of a place with a better taco in King Co. Their salsa's make me want to cry with joy, and sometimes from spicy pain (this is a good thing). And for those who dont want tacos, just order one of the many other items on the menu and you'll see why so many have made El 42 a regular haunt.
I recommend the El Jefe Burger with the peanut salsa - life changing.”
“Such delicious food!!! The flavors are so authentically Thai, bold, and tasty. I really loved the chicken salad. The vegetables are crispy and the dressing has such a layered flavor that is perfectly balanced. The wait staff are kind, personable, and welcoming. Highly recommend.”
“Great food and wonderful staff! Definitely some of the best naan.”
“we was passing through on our way home to Yakima & stopped to eat lunch. Thank you the service staff & food was great!”

“Just called in about placing an order to the incorrect location. Worker who answered the phone was very willing to help and gave me the Manager’s number. The Manager got my order over to the correct location and was very helpful and responsive in the process.
When I do order from the location, food is always hot and I never have to worry if my order is incorrect. Great Service!”
“Any steak…. Crab cakes, although have been reduced in size. UFO, halibut stuffed with crab was the best thing on the menu…. However not available anymore…. Hopefully the halibut stuffed with crab will come back on the menu soon….”
“Only thing I'll complain about, is no vegetarian kimchi*** served (no fish sauce, anchovies, squid ink) with the bbq short ribs or korean kalbi beef [exquisite job to chefs]!
Sushi, on the other spectrum- all was delicious; between my little sister (which was visiting from Montana), our mother filled up on miso soups, 2 yellowtail, 2 spider rolls of the 6 & the salad n white rice...
Hopefully, next time visiting- vegetarian Kimchi will be an option, even if $7 charge for all you can have while dining 😉 !
Kid-friendliness: Depending on your child's palate*
Wheelchair accessibility: Back door entry is, while they are working on fixing issues with front door (street parking)-”

“Malarkey's is a great place to hang out. The food is good and the staff are excellent. The cuisine isn't going to knock your socks off, but the people going here are looking for a place to have a good time talking, watching the game, or playing bar games. If you don't have much cash but want a good atmosphere check this place out! Tip your waitresses!”

“We have been customers for over a decade. Always odering the same thing: steak and meatball pho, extra meatballs, 2 orders of eggrolls, and a side of leaf lettuce. One of our favorite Pho restaurants. Service is quick and the food is delicious! Today, we were seated at the same table 7 years ago. I was still pregnant then. We also dined here with my infant daughter when she was still in her car seat carrier/basket. My parents from the Philippines also dined here when they visited us. This place holds a lot of memories for us. Will be back again and again.”
“Fantastic bang for your buck, Tikka Masala in Bellevue is worth going out of your way for. They have some fantastic variety in their menu, and do chicken curries especially well. But perhaps the crown jewel of their menu is the seafood biriyani. The shrimp is amazingly flavourful and the fish practically melts in your mouth. The portions are incredibly generous for the price. I always have leftovers after every visit. There are very few Indian restaurants in Western WA that top this one.”
“Shane, Zoe,Riley Gabby and Nathan, Shelby. Amazing experience. Fresh food and tasty beverages. What a great environment!. Want to spend more time here. Great place for connections!”

“02/28/25 Brandy was helpful with question for website ordering 1/2 & 1/2 pizzas
02/14/25 We followed the correct cooking instructions this time for the stuffed crust and it was way better than the last time!
12/20/24 next time we will follow cooking instructions better”
“No other coffee stand compares to the coffee here. They have the smoothest & richest organic coffee beans with a wide milk selection (whole, nonfat, half & half, heavy cream, coconut, almond, oat, hemp & soy). They use super high quality chocolates & chai's and have one of the most extensive flavor selections! If you're not feeling coffee, they have smoothies, Italian sodas, flavored redbulls & lotus energy! You can customize flavor profiles & create any combo! They always have delicious sweets & food. Breakfast bagel & breakfast croissant sandwiches along with toasted bagels (whatever they have sourced locally, so Asiago, blueberry, everything, french toast etc) and breakfast burritos.Their breads are homemade & everything is locally sourced and they have the cutest seasonal sugar cookies! This place is exceptionally kid & dog friendly! There is also a little seated table outside with an umbrella if you happen to be walking by & grabbing something to eat. It's a very popular spot, that's been a staple for 20 years in Issaquah. Because of this it can get busy, but you'll never be short on the customer service & the friendliness of the staff!
Vegetarian options: Wide alt milk selection (oat, almond, hemp, coconut & soy) they have smoothies, redbulls, Italian sodas & lotus energy. For food they have cookies, breads, scones & danishes. They have bagels that can be toasted with butter or cream cheese and you can choose to omit the meat on any of the breakfast egg & cheese sandwiches.
Parking: Located in the corner of a large parking lot of the shopping plaza. Plenty of parking to choose from.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kid drinks & treats. There is an outside seated area that's surrounded by bushes, tucked between the sidewalk & the stand. The girls here all love kids!
Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 windows. A drive thru & a walk up/wheelchair side. No steps, and is accessible off the sidewalk.”
“One of my favorite Taco Times in the area. I go here to eat and relax...and maybe hide from the people at home some times. I can neither confirm nor deny that last one. It's comfy, the food is always delicious and all the staff is always super nice...and I suspect I'm not the only one hiding out in there, as I see others reading and surfing on their phones ”
“The baristas here. Seems nice then the other one but nearby. When you order, they were explain the things that you don’t understand, and they look at your eyes now look in the machine. Eventually, when you’re finished order, they will turn up their face and smile. I will say that’s it. You’re all set.!!
That’s reason why I gave them four stars!!!”

“The people working are courteous, friendly, and very willing to help you navigate the food options. I have gotten several different dishes, and all are very delicious! The portions are a good size, and the drinks are amazing! They make their sauces from scratch… I just can’t say enough good things. Try it, you won’t regret it!”
“This place offers a rare Latin breakfast menu item called Migas and oh man is it good. The wait staff are all friendly and your cup is never empty. The atmosphere is like a cozy small diner/family kitchen and it is relaxing and laid back. And as a rare tea drinker, I can say that while they charge the same as other places for tea, they serve super high quality English breakfast tea, which was delightful. I AM SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK in Issaquah!!”
“While visiting Issaquah with some friends, we stopped by to grab a bite and enjoy some coffee — and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was friendly, and everything we tried, from the drinks to the pastries, was absolutely delicious.
Thank you to the team for giving us a warm place to wait out the rain — it really made our day.
And when we think about who we ultimately have to thank for these joyful moments — good food, good mood, and time with loved ones — we know they’re all gifts from our loving heavenly Father, Jehovah.
Just like the Bible says at Ecclesiastes 3:12, 13: «I have concluded that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good during their life, also that everyone should eat and drink and find enjoyment for all his hard work. It is the gift of God»”
“Of the many places around to get coffee, this is my favorite. Excellent quality drinks (GREAT coffee and craft espresso drinks, as well as Italian sodas and even a few smoothies). Everyone is incredibly friendly and quick. Love it every time I’m there.
Dietary restrictions: Delicious gluten-free options, including fresh baked muffins (you’d never know they’re gluten free) and loaded breakfast bowls.”
“A wonderful day like this make me feel stop by to get a cut of my favorite drink [Venti Starbucks Double shot (5shot of espresso ] for free at my favorite starbuck store because I used to work there. It was feeling warm and friendly service. I got a good sample Reserve Coffee “Jamaica Blue Mountain” super awesome!! Thank you very much to “Eden” to give me try some ”
“5 stars for this amazing historical dive bar. Our favorite place to go on a weekly basis. Bartenders Loni, Jenna and Kylee security Cory and others- fun, friendly and social. Awesome drinks at a decent price. Love seeing the old familiar faces for years and love meeting new people and the first timers. Pool, darts, appetizers and good vibes all around. Recommend!!”
“Forgot about this place, but love coming here. Went for my birthday, got a seat, had a great dinner and after we said we were too full for dessert, they dropped off a birthday dessert (which we ended up eating). Great service!”
“I have only been here two times as I moved to the area right before the government stole the freedom of Americans to move about freely... that being said, this visit - IN PERSON - was excellent! Matt, the bartender answered several questions and made a couple suggestions. I went with one of them (Carnitas and Scratch Margarita) and was pleasantly impressed with both! The crowd was fun, the staff was doing an excellent job (having been in the industry for 24 years myself) taking care of the business and caring for the clients. Thank you and I WILL be back again!”
“This was the best surprise! We goggled a place that had a yummy brunch and I can say, this place was delicious. Their attention to detail right down to choosing local bakeries for their bread. (Chef’s ?) Do yourself a favor, hop in your car and head straight over now!”

“I'm not Indian or vegetarian but my lunch was great with many unfamilar tastes to be had. No menu, they just bring you food. The buttermilk drink was sour and spiced. The tamarind and cilantro chutneys were excellent as was the potatoes and the lentils w/crushed baked wheatballs. Breads served were papadam, hot naan and a deep fried bread (pictured on the facebook page) and all were fresh/delicious. I'm in it for the spicy food and the capsicum dish and the carrot side salad were spicy seasoned. I had chai and mango lassi, both great. The coconut creamy dessert was an excellent ending. I was very satisfied/satiated but had to go back to work. A nap would've been welcome LOL.”
“They're usually pretty good and I never like get my food wrong. But the only thing is is I always order a large mocha frappe everyday almost everyday and they seem to can't get it right. They got it right probably a couple times out of every time I go cuz I like chocolate around the cup and they seem to not understand that but that's the only thing that bothers me”
“Everything is delicious. My only downside is eating here as a hungry vegetarian, who normally has great options in Taiwanese restaurants.
There are vegetarian options, but no proteins, like tofu. Even off the menu. I might be wrong, but memory serves that dough zone used to have a delicious tofu dish available, per most Taiwanese restaurants. Very disappointing.”
