The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“Year 2024_ 2025 Curry in a hurry & pizza is the best. I couldn't find a turkey a little before or after Thanksgiving. I couldn't even find chicken. The only thing that was open was this little restaurant. I told the owner what happened and especially made me Indian pizza and chicken. It tastes really good. It made my Thanksgiving. Because of the quality of their food is so good I came back on Christmas Day to buy some more good food from them. I drove all the way from Seattle just to get some food from them. I highly recommend this place especially during holidays when everybody else is closed. Customer service here is great!

“Update: I am sad to say that because of the huge changes made to the menu by the new owner, I have to take a star away from my rating. The food has become under seasoned and sometimes the execution is poor. The quality is now inconsistent but broadly underwhelming, with old signature dishes having been removed or turned into something unrecognizable. It is nowhere near where it was three years ago when the founder ran the restaurant. I hope that they reconsider a lot of these changes so I can give the star back.

Not just the best Chinese food in the Pierce/King county area, but the best food. My wife is a Chinese expat and this is pure comfort food for her. Their food is authentic Chinese, the way I remember it from my time there in Henan, and on top of that, it's relatively cheap.

You know it's real Chinese when it's fresh, delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. We drive all the way from Tacoma to come here every time, at least twice a month. It's worth the trip not just because the food is so good, but also because the location is great -- we can do our shopping at Ranch 99 for cool Asian import groceries and other comforts from back home.

On top of all this, the service is warm, sincere, and efficient. My favorite place to eat, period.”

The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

The atmosphere is perfect for the start of my workday, and the coffee is consistently good. I’ve been coming here for about a year, and the taste is steady day after day.

“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

They also have some good popcorn chicken and sometimes do corn dogs for a dollar during certain occasions. Always go for happy hour otherwise you will be satisfied with the food but mad about the prices especially when it comes to drinks . We got a medium powered with fresh cherries,a order of onion rings and a soft pretzel all to share and it was 17.00 . To me that is alot for basically one meal but dont get me wrong the food was good. The powerade was nice and cold and mixed properly,the cherries were sweet,the pretzel was hot and fresh and the onion rings were crispy and perfectly flavored”

I have never once had anything from their menu I didn't enjoy. The owner, Young, is such a kind and sweet individual. Always happy to greet everyone who comes through the door with a big smile and a warm welcome. Her son is also a great person. Carries the same energy, and they are always working very hard whether the order is big or small. I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only for the food, but also for the friendly and welcoming service.”

The servers were very polite and accommodating (even though it was basically closing time)
I came in with 3 teenagers

We had two spicy mala noodles, two dan dan noodles, two orders sweet and spicy garlic chili pan fried chicken wontons, and hot & sour chicken wontons, oh and a green onion pancake.

Everything was so good as always and they even gave complimentary pork and crab soup dumplings.which reminds me
We also ordered the chicken xio long bao (chicken soup dumps)

“We stopped in for lunch today. We ordered several dishes including Pupusas, Dobladas, Tamales Chapin and the little sweet corn tamales. Everything was cooked fresh and delicious. Our Server Jacqueline, was fantastic, took great care of us and made sure we were pleased with our meals. We ordered several Tres Leches cakes to go and they were excellent. Do not skip this dessert!
This is not our first time time at this establishment but today was the best.
