“3 main things people look for: 1. Customer service: I was greeted with a very warm welcome from the owner. I was also taught a few things & given great advice on tea! 2. Product: Fresh tea!!!! Weighted tea is not only the most beneficial form of tea, but the overall freshness of the outsourced tea speaks for itself. 3. Cleanliness & Ambiance: Very clean & organized. The atmosphere is very purposeful. Makes you want to do a tea tasting to fully immerse yourself in the experience being there. No other tea room has customer service & products as need based as Serenity Moon Tea. You can't call yourself a tea person if this is not a regular destination when you're in the area.”

“Absolutely amazing, hands down the best sushi we have had. This is a one man operation and honestly, I don’t know how he does it. All of the fish is flown in from all over the world and is the absolute best top notch quality. Follow his IG to see when reservations drop. You’ll have to book a couple weeks out but it’s worth the wait! You’ll preorder your food while making a reservation as well.

Other notes: pretty easy to find street parking in this area of Kent, we’ve never had an issue. Enter right at your reservation time, no earlier. It’s an intimate space best for couples and small groups.”

We LOVED Curry Pizza House. Everything, from the potato appetizer to the garlic cheesy bread to the shahi paneer pizza (our favorite item of the day) was excellent. The manager was incredibly kind to us and even comped us a few items that we neglected to order when we first placed our order. Highly recommended for a different twist on pizza with fresh toppings and lots of options, both Indian and more traditional American.

Vegetarian options: It’s Indian! Lots of vegetarian options. Some items can be made vegan, too.

Kid-friendliness: Brings the kids, expose ‘em to something different. Staff is totally welcoming to kids, too.”

“To be honest I was hoping they would have black bean noodle but ilthey did not so instead I got a bowl of beef noodle soup. It was quite good, I usually get it from Mama Dough and I definitely noticed a big difference. This has more intense flavor (hot and spicy with a richer broth) and more meat as well as noodles. I've taken home their braised duck wings before and loved it. I've been craving more Taiwanese style food and will be putting this into rotation.”

“I’m from Dallas, TX and have had a hard time finding true southern BBQ in this entire state! Except Pete’s! Now, I’ve had great smoked brisket and other great smoked culinary experiences, but this one is the most Southern. What I mean is that the coleslaw is excellent with a medium shred, not too large or chopped too small, and an even amount of dressing. The sweet cornbread muffins with honey-butter straight from cast-iron are amazing. The pickle slices are even a culinary delight, sitting next to raw onions and a plethora of BBQ sauces to choose from. Oh, and free ice-cream cones if you even have room left to fill (we did not, lol). I could go on about the sweet tea, baked beans, slow-smoked ribs, shredded smoked pork, sausage, chicken, and desserts but…Just bring your appetite and try it for y’all’s selves! ;)”

This is a great place to stop on your way to the airport.
The owner Paul was very nice and was accommodating to my food allergies.
The service was more on the slower side due to the fact that its a family owned and not a lot of employees.
I would rate the food a 10. Best Pho broth in Western Washington.”

I got the Jumbo BF Burrito, which every place should do breakfast all day, and oh man does the name hold true! Everything was fresh and it was packed with amazing ingredients and flavor. I got carne and bacon!
The wife got the taco platter and she also commented how good and fresh the ingredients were! She even said they may have been the best rice and beans she’s ever had.
Finally- support this place! Support small businesses like this where the service AND food is wonderful.

“When I discovered Young Ocean was in Kent, only a minute's driving distance from my work, I was excited because I could get fresh seafood at a very reasonable price. They are the significant restaurants' suppliers, and I believe their food must be very fresh because of the daily demand from the local restaurants. I buy a variety of seafood, and our family enjoys their pollack roe 명란젓 the best. They are making it here, and it is very fresh. Ironically, my friend from Korea took one box of pollack roe back to Korea, saying it would be hard to find this kind of good quality 명란젓 in Korea. I can list more about our favorite items, like fresh sea urchins and Mackerel. Another thing I like to mention is to get a delivery service for over $200 online order. I used to pick up the order from the office, and they put items in the icebox with ice. So I don’t have to worry about it until I return home. Thanks for the staff! They are very kind and quick to respond to my message. I will recommend this business to anyone who loves seafood..”

I handed the girl behind the counter a $20, she handed me back a $5. My coffee was $7.75, are you serious? That’s a bit much, I think. She kept my change with no inquiry to ask me if I had change because she said they had no change. Wild Wheat, you are in downtown Kent not a resort location. Please rethink your pricing.”

“So I don’t want to bring any bad rep on Dairy Queen but I came to this location on Sunday with my family and my 11 year old son who has a peanut allergy ordered a orange and cream milkshake and by the time he was finished drinking it he found a chocolate morsel at the end of his shake. I panicked and tasted it and it tasted like the chocolate from the outer part of a Reese’s peanut butter cup. His throat began to feel scratchy and he had a stomach ache for the rest of that night. I thank God he didn’t go into anaphylaxis. Please be careful how you prepare your drinks, I know you’re an allergen present restaurant but a piece of chocolate has no place in an orange creamsicle shake.”
