“Dropped by on a Saturday evening. Service was prompt and friendly. The guy who took my order read my customizations back to me to make sure he heard correctly, which is something I deeply appreciate. Order was made right and presented nicely. Dining room was clean. Can’t say enough about the good service—will definitely be back.“
“As someone missing Mexican food truck cuisine since switching to a full vegan lifestyle, Rojo’s comes the closest to scratching that itch so far. On entering I was happy to see they had plenty of seating and friendly staff. I only had the tacos Al pastor to try with rice+beans and just by appearance alone it was already taking me way back. I could hardly wait that I had to pull over and have a taco on my way home and it was everything I missed about authentic Mexican food truck fare. Will definitely be back but won’t be soon enough!“
“As a Californian I’m usually quite picky about Mexican food. However Carmelo’s passed the test for having fantastic high quality food that tasted authentic and delicious. I ordered from them several times while in Seattle (chicken burrito/ chicken quesadilla were best) and loved it every time! Highly recommend it to all Seattle visitors!“
“Deli! No había encontrado taco fish tipo baja con un sabor tan auténtico en el área. Definitely recommend, they’re very good tacos, bigger than usual in a great way. The red salsa is sooo good! Will definitely come back. Friendly staff, cute spot, great tacos what else do you need?“
“Bigger than expected on the inside! The staff were really nice and I really liked their salsa bar as well as eclectic array of hot sauces I've never seen before anywhere else. The food was really good too. We got the carnitas tacos quezzabirria, and chicharon tacos. Favorite bite was probably the Birria, how could you go wrong with a deep fried taco? I really enjoyed the tortillas they are using which appear to be hand made. The softest ones I've had in Seattle.“
“This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. The service is incredible, always so friendly, giving out samples and giving out information about the foods. This place is authentic with food made with ingredients strait from Oaxaca. The ambiance is beautiful. It is very colorful and decorative. It’s right next to the original Starbucks so it is very busy. Their tacos and tamales are my favorite. I will say the food can feel a little heavy. This place is definitely worth a try to at least go once.“
“Stopped in for lunch today and ordered the Bison taco and some of the sweet fry bread with honey on it. Not exactly the same sort of fry bread tacos I'm used to from Arizona but that's perfectly alright and I knew that from looking at the menu in advance. The bread came right out of the fryer so it was warm and airy. The veggies were fresh and the bison meat was well cooked (not chewy or anything). The sauce worked really well with it too! Kind of wish I'd gotten a second one ?I'll definitely be coming back here soon!“
“I ordered chicken burrito and street tacos. The burrito was good, but the street tacos was ok. I really like the taste of the fried onions in the burrito. It comes with 3 different salsa/sauce, none of them was spicy and they were watery. There's a lot of options to choose from the menu so maybe next time I will try different things.“
“Accidently stopped by after close. They paid no mind to the hour. We had no idea they closed at 7 until I came to write this review. We are so thrilled they decided to serve us. The meat was seasoned to perfection. Their salsas were some of the best I've ever had. The pastor is the real winner! Delicious and they top the taco with a slice of pineapple. We will be back.“
“I had heard of this place by my son who attends Seattle U, and I was there to watch his soccer game and I thought this was an opportunity to see if this place was really that good. Well, it indeed does live up to what he and his friends have been telling me. The food quality was extremely good and the way that each taco is freshly made and the sauce on the meat is just a bit thicker than everyone else's sauce and just the right amount of zip to give the flavor. The pricing was fitting of being near a college campus. When all restaurants seem to have much higher prices, Carmelos keeps the pricing to a reasonable level. My biggest problem was that after I ate a couple of tacos, I still wanted more. I know that I will be coming back for more softball games, and I need to explore the rest of the menu. This is definitely on my repeat/play again list.“
“Don’t pass up this awesome family owned taco truck located in downtown Bothell. They are always friendly & sweet. They have all sorts of to die for Birria dishes. We love their huge, enough for 2 meals, burritos. ? Food quality is always consistent.“
“When it comes to Mexican food in Seattle there are a many upscale fusion restaurants, but it can be hard to find a decent taco that gives you that home made feeling. The food here is great. I would highly recommend the baby burrito and any of the tacos. My friends also really enjoy the quesadillas. Both of there homemade salsa are great just beware the red is hot! They also offer a small selection of Mexican sodas and canned beers.Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes can be ordered without mean or with a substitute.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate any dietary restrictions.Parking: You’re parking just off of Dexter Ave in west Seattle. It can be difficult depending on the time of the day. You may also have to pay depending on the hours.Kid-friendliness: Everyone I’ve gone in there are families with small children hanging out! It looks like a fun place to bring them in.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is located on the first floor and is wheelchair accessible.“
“I just got back last week from Mexico, and this place makes better tacos than many of the tacos I had on my trip. Definitely some of the best tacos in Seattle. The balance of flavors (spice, sour, sweet, char, etc.) is perfect here. The sauces are incredible, too. They have lots of veggie options for vegetarians (and they're fantastically grilled vegetables), are quick to make your dishes, and they're super nice and friendly.“
“Pretty decent taco spot with some nice and spicy salsas, 3 burritos, a candy, and 5 tacos ran me about 45 dollars. Extra points for staying open till 8pm on Sat compared to the other tavonstands that closed at 7pm.Kid-friendliness: Plain tacos were so good my kid wanted more.“
“This place is fantastic definitely a hidden gem You couldn't ask for better service and the food Was absolutely amazing I had the The Quesadilla with fresh made tortilla Lettuce sour cream and pico and a chorizo taco both were fantastic I have never had a quesadilla made like this it was essentially a huge taco I will definitely be eating here when I am in the area“
“Literally the best tacos I’ve ever had... so fresh, and so much flavor!! Wo!Vegetarian options: I get the veggie tacos without queso fresco and this makes them vegan (their DELICIOUS aioli uses a mayo without egg in it ).Dietary restrictions: I get the veggie tacos without the queso fresco, and this makes them vegan (their DELICIOUS aioli uses a mayo without egg in it ).“
“I've come here multiple times for take out now. Their lengua tacos are my go to, because they are very delicious, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Their horchata is some of the best in the area and it's made to be drank with ice. If you ask for it without ice (which I generally do), you can cut it with extra milk and still get a TON of flavor. Burritos are also very tasty, although not as big as some other food trucks.Prices are reasonable, and I appreciate that they have hand sanitizer, a hand washing station, and tables under the shade.“
“So darn good! I got the cod fish tacos which were fried to perfection and topped with cotija cheese and a chipotle sauce. My mom got the Acapulco shrimp tacos which has a jicama and mango salsa and topped with avocado. And the establishment is clean! Friendly service! High recommend this spot.I would’ve taken a picture of the tacos but my eyes and belly took action before I could.“
“Food was good but could have been better. I have had better tacos. Excellent service, staff is very friendly. Very good ambience. Lighting could be better. They have 3 salsas, all very good but spicy. Guac & chips are excellent. I wish they had nachos.“
“Keeping the 5's going. I know why this place has great reviews. Friendly service and Generous portions of protein with fresh avocado inside the burritos. I saw they had shed type heated seating area but I didn't go inside. Prices are comparable. Met another customer who said he travels 40 miles to come here and get food. This very well be our new go-to in the Kenmore area.“
“I love this place. Cheap tacos that always hit the spot. They never get an order wrong (which you'd think is a simple thing to do but I can't say I've been to any other restaurant that hasn't messed up at least once). The food often goes right through me but it's delicious and I'll continue going back when that taco craving hitsDietary restrictions: Very coherent about leaving cheese out of meals due to allergies. Again, it's not hard, but 95% of restaurants have difficulties listening to their customers. Kudos, Omar's“
“My favorite taqueria on the East Side. Some taco places make their Al pastor/barbacoa too “wet,” and not crispy or rich enough. Not these guys. Much like their birria, it’s distinctly flavorful.Pro-tip: most tacos are great if you get them “Señor Taco” style (added shoestring fries, guac and pico), but get the fish tacos plain. The sauce is amazing and can hold its without any “sidekicks.”The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. The place is small, but well kept.“
“I recently visited Tacos Chukis, and it was so yummy! The baby burrito with steak was flavorful and satisfying, and the pollo quesadilla was equally delicious. The fresh ingredients and friendly service made this spot a standout. Highly recommended! There's limited seating and only street parking so plan ahead!“
“hands down the best taco truck in bellevue. I used to visit this place frequently in high school, and still come back on the occasion that I crave a really good burrito or taco. I love both and don't think you can go wrong with anything here on the menu. outdoor seating is available so thats a plus if you wanted to eat here, but I usually grab my food to-go. the owners are also super nice and generous! Back when I came pretty frequently, they would remember me and offer me a free horchata or quesadilla every few visits. definitely give is a try if you're in the area and support them!!“
“Delicioso! I'm always hesitant to try Mexican food in Seattle but this place is pretty good. The tortillas are always fresh and paired well with the tacos. I definitely recommend the cesar salad (it was created in Tijuana, MX for folks who think it's a random menu item). The elote is delicious and the baja fish tacos are my favorite.“
“One of the best places to drop by and get some great Mexican food. The people here are always super friendly and helpful. Their prices are reasonable as well.I usually just order to-go since I live relatively close, but their indoor area is good! They even added a condiments section to add to your food.Personally, I always order asada tacos, and they always do an incredible job.My order was messed up once, but I told them about it, and they promptly gave me a new order. Nice.Muchas gracias, señores!“
“We did the 4 PC chicken and small chicken strips and it was delicious. Great flavor of the potato salad and homemade tartar sauce was perfect. It was a lot of food and well worth the drive there from our house. staff was friendly. Smells wonderful inside. We'll be back again for sure.“
“First time here. Super bummed that our former local go-to Los Tinos has closed so we figured we'd give Taqueria La Original 2 a try. I perused the menu and it looks good. Not really a fan of waiting outside of taco trucks so I called in the order and was given a timeframe. 15 minutes. Showed up 15 minutes later. No other customers. I wait by the window for several minutes before even being acknowledged. Another customer comes to pick up their order. Finally get some attention and tell the worker that I called in an order. She confirms what I had ordered over the phone. I wait around for *another* 10-15 minutes and finally get the food. No explanation - no apology. I gave it 4 stars because the food itself was great but the service or lack thereof was barely 2 stars being honest. If they were totally slammed - I get it. This was not the case. Will probably give it one more try because it was delicious but if the service is as lackluster as today that'll be it for me.“
“Hands down the best burrito and taco place around in the SODO/ Georgetown area, and probably the better part of the greater Seattle metro area. Numerous meat options in a variety of service choices. Have yet to be disappointed. And if you need a horchata fix, this is your place. Giant glass full of great horchata at a good price.“
“FINALLY. These are the closest to Californian-Mexican street tacos that I have tried to date. Meat. Onions. Cilantro. DONE. Nada más -- son perfectos! I always prefer lime but they have that covered too! So as of today, best tacos in Seattle! The mulitas and nachos were also fantastic. We came for Happy Hour which makes the prices more appealing. Technically this is located inside of Provisions, which has a unique vibe - super dark, big elegant type couches and furniture everywhere for groups to sit at. The music is WAY too loud to have a decent conversation but that's not the tacos' fault We came early evening so the place wasn't very full and we received our food quickly. We will definitely order from here when we want tacos to-go!! GO HERE“
“Really tasty! Ingredients are super high quality and I love the sauces. It has a limited menu that's different from the taco trucks in the area.Very easy to get a filling meal for cheap if you mix and match. A mulita and a quesidilla will be about $10 and if you add a taco that's still under $15 and you get to try all their meats. They have 2 different vegetarian fillings as well.Cute funky vibe and the food always comes out fast.“
“I wish I could give more stars, their flautas are unbelievable! I moved up from San Diego a year ago and I've been so bummed with the lack of good mexican food around here, I'd put Sophies flautas and that salsa up against just about any hole in the wall spot in SD. If you like Mexican food come here!“
“Saturday pozole! Homemade comfort food. Not only the food, but also the people that make it, always make us smile. In the eight years we've been coming here, Sonia and Carlos have invariably been friendly, upbeat, and generous. They have steadily worked long, long hours and have made their store better and better. Great to have them as neighbors! Thank you Sonia and Carlos!“
“Really delicious food. The ingredients they use are well above the norm. The salmon burger had a large, thickish piece of salmon, a gorgeous bun that was tender but also held up well and the hand cut fries were some of the best we have ever had. Deeply golden brown, tender but not soggy and plenty of crispy bits. The large pretzel was good and the ahi salad was fresh and flavorful with a really nice combination of heat, spices and textures.“
“Best taco truck food I’ve ever had and I love trying lots of different taco trucks so I’ve had many different ones. I would go here over any other Mexican restaurant or taco truck everyday. The meat is so flavorful and tender and everything is so fresh. 10/10 would recommend!!“
