“My wife does not drink much, we brought an idea she has elsewhere and they made it perfectly. with that and having the scotches I love. we will be planning weekly date nights. their menu does change to stay fresh, and it is always top notch. tonight I had bread pudding for dessert, it stood on its own as it should. absolutely amazing food and drinks.”

I’ve been to Katsu burger in Lynnwood before, many years ago… but I couldn’t remember how the food was to be honest. I must say, I have been pleasantly surprised. It certainly isn’t your typically “American burger”, but that’s not how you can judge this kind of fusion food. It’s in its own category.

I thought the burger was well made (beef katsu was perfectly fresh and crisy and veggies were fresh). The whole burger was a bit large and challenging to eat at first, and the flavors were a little challenging to discern. However, as you continued to eat, you were able pick on the different flavors. Fries were lack luster, and the 12 spice seasoning carried them. Wasabi coleslaw… can’t say I’ve eer had or even heard of such a thing. It was good and fresh, but nothing to write home about. I thought it could use more wasabi flavor, the brightness of the veggies overwhelmed the wasabi flavor.

Service was very pleasant. They’re understaffed, but that didn’t stop from good service.

Atmosphere is cozy and quaint. Little Japanese “cutsie” influence, and I enjoyed slowly eating my meal. Didn’t feel rushed or like I wanted to hurry up and eat to leave.

Overall, I would come back. There were several other burgers that piqued my interest.”

“Have been looking for a new place to get pho and decided to try this place out.
Very nice little restaurant. They were fairly busy with tables and takeout, however service was very prompt. All the employees were very friendly. Clean and nice atmosphere.

The pho here is delicious! The broth is tasty and the portions are pretty large.

We returned again and tried the pad see eiw, which was also very good.

Will definitely be returning to try more dishes and of course to get more pho.”

“Been going to Contos for over 20 years. last week was the first time I have ever been disappointed. Picked up dinner to take home and they changed their lettuce. Their salads were always fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce and last week had floppy romaine mixed in and it was super disappointing, ended up throwing half of the tossed salad out. Please go back to what you did for all these years, don't start changing things.”

“Ok folks, listen up! You need to RUN, not walk, to the most adorable little bake shop this side of the Mississippi. A neighbor recommended this place shortly after we moved to the area a couple years ago and I am forever indebted to her. These are seriously the best cookies that have ever graced my lips. Recently, my husband jokingly asked how much we’d spent at Jenny’s since we moved here. I may have to get rid of him…

I’ve even started taking a box of treats to TX each time I go back to visit family. If ever see a crazy lady boarding a plane with her husband, 4 kids and an enormous pink box of treats… that’s me. Really hoping Alaska Airlines doesn’t catch on and start confiscating the “contraband.”

But don’t just go for the cookies and treats. Go to see my new best friend! I’m not entirely sure she realizes we’re best friends but we absolutely are. She’s the smiling face I see each time I visit and she goes out of her way to make sure each visit is delightful!

Also, I hate to brag, but one time I got to meet THE Jenny of Jenny Cookies! EEK! It was like meeting Oprah! (I haven’t actually met Oprah but I’m pretty certain it was the same.)

So, take my advice! Go check out this adorable little bake shop with the sweetest family feel. You might even get to meet Jenny herself! But I assure you, even if you don’t, you will not be disappointed!”

“Got to the till the one worker who was at the till not doing anything absolutely distracted by something noticed me walk up to the till and instantly told her coworker (Kailey) that she was leaving for lunch not really giving her a chance to say anything and just leaves taking a while in the back before leaving Kailey to the orders she was already making then to then deal with me. Not impressed by that attitude. BUT Kailey was amazing and so kind the drink she made was perfect! “I absolutely love this bar! Razzals in Lake Stevens was my go to for all the time fun, games, and especially the staff! I’ve moved away so I do not frequent it much, but I stopped in the other day and the atmosphere is still the same, the staff is a bit different as in “not the same people working there *it’s been over 7 years*” Still love this place nonetheless! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone that’s ready to hang out in a fun oriented atmosphere surrounded by good people and great times!”
