“Great Mexican food, we ordered take out and the had our order ready in 10minutes, exceptional service, the hostess was so nice. The food was fantastic, carne asada wasn't over cooked and they are generous with their protein sizes. Husband got the wet burrito, which was also good, we liked their steak a lot more though. I would go back anytime I'm in Tacoma.Parking: Easy parking, many empty lots around the restaurant as well as plenty of free street parking.“

“This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I've ever been in. Our server was perfect. Sometimes servers can have so much energy (which isn't always bad) but this time our server had just the right amount of chill. Then, the food was phenomenal. Me, being Hispanic, it brought back nostalgic feelings of my grandmas cooking. Finally, oh my God, the Flan was muah; chefs kiss! This place is excellent. Pricey. Well worth it.“

“First of all this place is clean and spacious. The customer service is top tier and fast service. The food! The food is delicious. We had the pizzadilla, 5 tacos plate and the birria fries. Let me tell you they did not disappoint!!! Everything was delicious, great portions and fresh. It’s a 10 out of 10 for us and we will definitely go back.“
“Look no further, this is the truck you have been searching for. Deep flavor, hint of smoke, very balanced spices and seasonings. Even the sauces that come with the food are amazing. Definitely saving whatever sauce is left to drizzle on later!“

“This is an order-at-the-counter place where a server brings your order to you. After asking for a recommendation, I ordered what turned out to be outstanding chilaquiles with asada - spicy, with quality ingredients and a generous portion - and I also enjoyed a delicious horchata. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend.“

“We were fans of La Fandita in Proctor. We’re pleased that the quality of Ruca’s food retains the same high standard. It is a joy to find Willie at his new digs, doing what he does best, serving great food, in a welcoming neighborhood. We’ll be back, with friends, to savor the many delights of Ruca Restaurant on McKinley Ave.“

“This is a must for happy hour. The nachos can feed 2-3 people easily and start at $7 I think. We usually try something new from the happy hour menu each time we visit. The habanero shrimp were alright but probably wouldn’t get again. The crispy Brussels sprouts were pretty good. The street tacos were a bit bland for my liking but not bad.The 4-6 happy hour only has deals on food while the one at night has deals on both food and drinks. My only complaint is that we’ve only gotten the complimentary chips and salsa once. Every other time, they forget. The chips come in handy for the nachos since the nacho chips end up a bit soggy at the bottom.“

They have some of the best margaritas and in the coolest sizes.Parking: Clean clear parking lotKid-friendliness: Tons of kid friendly options on the menu even French fries for the picky eaters“

“We’re from Arizona and needed some good tacos. Took a chance on this truck, and it is legit! Our family of 4 was totally full with one pollo plate and 2 taco plates (10 street tacos total). Good food, very friendly service—give them a try!“

“Carne asada burrito, one of the best I've had, grown up n lived in east WA most my life where everyone thinks the Mexican food is superior to the west side, this place proves that's not the case, no chewy peices of asada in the whole burrito, tender n pretty large peices of asada with a touch of pink in the center, I was really impressed.“

“Our first time trying this place and it's our new favorite spot! We ordered tamales, Birria tacos and the Cali burrito. The tamales was so flavorful and it had alot of meat. The birria tacos was delicious and it was our first time trying the Cali burrito. The burrito is huge. It's big enough to share with someone and the hot cheetos in it was my favorite part. Yoni (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was super nice! You've got to try this place, you won't be disappointed.“

“Just finished dinner from this food truck (delivered by door dash). Ordered one each of their steak, chicken and shredded pork tacos (with rice and beans) and an order of chicken taquitos (these were crispy, lightly fried and flavorful). Our tacos were crafted just right with the pork and chicken being my faves (in that order). All three generously topped with onions and the veggie mix atop was fresh and flavorful. Excellent handmade chewy but crisp corn tortillas and flavorful hot sauces.“

“This is place is the real deal. If I had a death row meal, I would choose Marco’s California Burrito. The margaritas are the best I’ve ever had. Eating at this restaurant will improve my mood for the whole week. This may be the best place ever.“

“The first time here is friendly, very welcoming. I had the grill tacos. They had cheese, carne asada, and beans. Also asked for a quesadilla with just cheese and chicken. Both orders were delicious and had great flavor. I will be going back.“

“I got a breakfast burrito it was awesome my only complaint was that it took a while to get it but I wasn't mad because the lady was taking orders and cooking by herself and it still came out great. Manager needs to hire more help they have good food just the service is a bit slow.“

“Very authentic feel here and absolutely amazing value for money. The beans and rice were absolutely perfect and the fish taco/birria some of the best we have had in US. Service is also fast and excellent. They also have a salsa stand with a wide variety of toppings which comes in handy. Also generally large portion sizes so order accordingly!“

“This place is huge. Very spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the green salsa that they serve with the chips. The food my husband and I ordered was really delicious but I tried my daughter's beef taco from the kids menu and the meat tasted a little off to me. Service was good and staff was very friendly. We will definitely come bank again.“

“Food was great and super well seasoned. I asked for jalapeños in my burro but yo ?I thought they were gonna gimme a watered down version with no spice and plenty of vinegar, nah fam, those jalapeños were freshly rolled and chopped WITH SEEDS ???. I had to order a second carne asada burro after I wolfed down the first(no jalapeños this time) and saved it for the next day since I would be miles away from civilization and a fresh meal, it was as good as the first and if not then better.I’m a truck driver and I appreciate spots like this, fresh food, friendly service, and the atmosphere was inviting enough. It’s at a gas station but yo, look where KFC started and look where they’re at now. KFC’s garbage though (at least now) so go to La Casa Del Taco now before they blow up and loose that signature flavor. From Phoenix to Seattle with live fam, y’all keep up the good work??“

“The interior was beautiful. It was cozy and you could tell they put a lot of work into the tiny details (there was some beautiful woodwork). Not only was the ambience great, but they also really took in to account sound, you couldn't hear other tables and didn't have to talk over music. The food was an experience! I believe they're still in beginnings, but they didn't disappoint. Served with beautiful plating, the sight was just as much a part of the experience as the taste. We went with the Zabutan which was amazing. Normally we consider sauce on steak sacrilegious--but the sauces that came on the side were also so delicious and complimented the steak perfectly. The prices were typical for this type of restaurant. in Lakewood, this is the first really nice date spot we've had since moving here. So I think some folks aren't used to the price point, which has lead to some not as great yelp reviews. But we felt pricing was on point. We'll be back again for a date night for sure.“

“WOW!!! All I have to say is my boyfriend is Puerto Rican and he said the rice reminds him of how his grandma's used to taste. Their tacos are literally the BEST I have probably ever had in my life. Everything us SO flavorful and so fair priced! I've also had the wet burrito and had lunch for the next day...so good!!! 20/10!“

“Uber eats MADE MY NIGHT! Pozole and Burrito plate. Veggies were fresh, Tortillas grilled before we ate them, salsa is SPICY with a lovely roasted flavor. Any place that sells cheek meat and goat meat has my vote. Best order out meal I've had in a while. Photos look average but taste is delicious. Beans and rice? Finger picking. Will order again.“

“Had an awesome lunch here while my daughter was playing in her volleyball tournament nearby. We ordered three different kinds of tacos (leia, pork, and chorizo) - not only were they all super delish, but the fresh house made tortillas and the extra charred veggies on the side made for an outstanding lunch. They also threw in two tamales for us to try just because. There's not a great seating area especially on a rainy day, but they packed everything up and it was easy to transport. Friendly and delicious, we will definitely head back here next time we're in the area!“

“We had burgers and fries. The burgers were really delicious. I had homemade fries and my husband had waffle fries both served with a generous amount of fry sauce. I had a mocha frappachino and my husband had a banana milkshake. Both were very good. The service was excellent. Even though they are open for dine in, the place was pretty empty. I recommend you try it.“

“I ordered the Super Chicken Burrito that was stuffed full of chicken, rice, and beans. It also came with sour cream and guacamole. I loved it, but thought I would only eat half as it's almost too much for one meal. However, so so good I could not put it down until I finished! Stephen got the Regular Burrito with carnitas. He felt it was okay but said the pork was too dry. Probably seemed that way since he chose not to have salsa. It also was heavy on the whole beans so that was another factor for him. He prefers refried beans, but didn't see that as an option for mobile orders. I would think if you ate there you could get these two things the way you wanted. I will definitely be back and maybe eat in next time to try something else on the menu. I only gave 4-stars for service because the staff was clearly overwhelmed at dinner with a long wait at the counter. They really need to hire an extra person for the front end. Especially with having a drive thru and counter so busy.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair parking spot about 10 'from the front entrance and with a flat surface. Plenty of room to navigate in the restaurant.“

“Birriera Tijuana Lakewood is the place to go if you’re looking for good Birriera. I love ordering their family size box, it comes with their cheesy Birreria tacos, Birreria fries, consome, and the world’s BEST churros. “Very crowded which sucks for the people waiting ?, but also the parking is very limited and dangerous. Not to mention for how expensive the food is it isn't all that great. The horchata drink and all the other beverage options are amazing, and on another hand very well made rice water ?. Wait times can belong depending what time of day you go. Overall, its not that bad of a spot to eat out but I wouldn't go there regularly unless it was just for their drink options.Parking: Their may be if I am remembering correctly, roughly 8-12 parking spots available and they're very tightly packed within each other.Kid-friendliness: Adults tend to be drunk or smoking ? or weed, so keep your kids close but other than that its fair to say its just like another Mexican Restaurant ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Its fairly wheelchair accessible other than the doors not being able to be push-pressed for automatic door entry.“

“This has been my favorite go to Mexican restaurant for the past four years ever since I worked at the neighboring hospital nearby. One of the nurses had told me to go here for lunch break because he can get authentic Mexican food. After that, I have not gone anywhere else. Beautiful presentation and deliciousVegetarian options: They’re quite a few good items that you can select for that are authentic and not compromisingDietary restrictions: When we tell them that I don’t eat pork, they are extra careful to make sure it’s a beef burrito onlyParking: That is a free parking lot over hereKid-friendliness: They have highchair for the kiddosWheelchair accessibility: The threshold for the front entrance door is easy for a wheelchair to navigate“

“One of the foodies that I follow recommend this place for their Carne Asada Potato. It looked good, so that's specifically what I went there for, and I enjoyed it. My wife got tacos and loved that as well, but then she had a bite of my potato and wished she had gotten that as well. My only complaint was the seats being slightly uncomfortable, it felt like the seat we sat at was about to collapse.“

“The only reason why this place was not getting 5 stars is because the chips and pico were absolutely disgusting, like we almost left. The pico was dry and flaky and very sour, and the chips were cold and overly fried.BUT my husband's burger was amazing, and those were the best shrimp tacos I've ever had!!The service was great. Our waitresses was very nice. She felt awful for the chips and compted us with some nice dessert. She really didn't have to do that, but it was a really nice surprise. She was awesome!“
