When I asked about this, a young lady (Morgan I think), said “I’ll move my car and you can park in my employee spot. We’d just driven ~5h with two little kids—she was a lifesaver. “What a gem of a coffee shop and cafe in the heart of downtown Leavenworth. WA, the cute little Bavarian-style town in the mountains of Washington State. Came for the coffee, as we are always looking for good, local coffee shops and were delighted to discover their food (those biscuits!!!) was amazing! Tried several menu items over the few days we were staying in the area and were never disappointed…everything was delicious (did I mention the biscuits??? ☺️). Truly a must stop while you are in town or just passing through…highly recommended!!!”

“If you’re in Leavenworth and don’t stop at Blewett Brewing, you’re doing the town wrong.

We came in expecting solid pub food and good beer. What we got was some of the best pizza we’ve had anywhere, full stop. The crust alone deserves its own fan club. Perfectly blistered, airy, crisp on the outside with that chewy, authentic bite you only get when someone actually cares about dough. You can taste the quality of the ingredients immediately. This isn’t “brewery pizza.” This is legit, crave-it-again pizza.

And then there’s Summer, the owner. She served us herself and embodies everything people love about Leavenworth and small-town businesses done right. Warm, welcoming, proud of what she’s built, and genuinely invested in every table having a great experience. That kind of hospitality changes a meal into a memory.

The drinks absolutely hold their own too. Great beers across styles, excellent cider options, and a menu that goes well beyond pizza. But honestly, the pizza alone is worth the trip with kids, friends, or anyone who appreciates real food made by real people who care.

CK was not only one of the best servers we’ve ever had but made our anniversary dinner a whole experience! “The food here was incredible, easily the best place in the whole week we were in Leavenworth. No crappy, frozen-then-deep-fried German food to be found here! Service was amazing, our waitress had the cutest little snowflake barrettes in her hair and was very efficient and friendly. The craft cocktails were incredible. Restaurant was very loud, so maybe not good for people hard of hearing, but overall a really good experience.”

“Me and my wife had the opportunity to dine in at carta during Valentine's Day weekend, we did not have reservations but we were able to get it and sit at the bar as it had a couple seats open, the bar tender and team members greeted us with kind gestures and let us know where we could hang our jackets, my wife loved the atmosphere of the place which gives off a nice small and cozy environment with out overcrowding, before ordering food we ordered drinks off the drink menu which were prepared precisely and in great time, we then ordered food as we're both hungry, I ordered the meatloaf which was a boar and bison meatloaf with seasoned mash potatoes and grilled vegetables, and my wife ordered the tendori chicken, both meals were prepared and brought out to us within a short amount of time, Both meals looked, smelled and tasted amazing amazing, but we both agreed that the tendori chicken outshined as it was so delicious and prepared so perfectly with the right amount of Spices and herds, after the entree we ordered a dessert off the dessert menu which was not very long but had some great options available, the chocolate cake is what we settled on, as it was placed on the table I immediately thought of the movie Matilda (chocolate cake scene) as the piece of cake was massive, the cake was so delicious and flavorful but we could not finish it as it was just so much food. I would like to also note that during this whole time the bartender and staff aswell as the manager treated us so well and made sure our drinks were refilled and made sure we were comfortable and not needing anything more. I would highly recommend carta and will be going again soon.”
