“My wife and I have been going to the Big Y for years now. They have great food at reasonable prices, I usually get biscuits and gravy and my wife really likes their waffles. I believe that they are owned by the same people that own The Wild Huckleberry in Wenatchee and the food is very similar, but unlike The Wild Huckleberry they have tons of parking. I definitely recommend The Big Y especially if you’ve got a trailer or big truck and don’t want to park on the street.”

The service however was not the best, when we walked in we were not greeted even though the shop only had a total of 3 people in it. The barista/cashier did not say a word to us when we were ordering either which was interesting. Overall though, I would still recommend this cute cafe!”

“We have eaten at Mana twice and plan to again in May. Everything is perfection. I’m not sure there is anywhere in the state that can come close. The food is beautiful and delicious, they cater to any food related health issues, the environment is gorgeous & the servers actually know everything about what they’re serving you. I feel really grateful to have a restaurant as special as this near me.”

“Not the best, but certainly not the worst braut I've ever had. Having been to Germany, it's difficult to find a good comparison. Our visit was midweek and it wasn't busy. The atmosphere is awesome and the service was fantastic! I should have gotten the guy's name that was cleaning up. He asked if we were done and took our baskets in a self cleaning environment. He saw me with my cane in one hand and several cups in the other and came over again and asked if he could take it for me. Great service! Thank you! Couldn't have asked for a better dog friendly place to eat!”

“I wish I'd gone this gem of a restaurant sooner. The food was absolutely amazing. Portions were large without being intimidating. (You will want your leftovers) The mango margarita was also top tier, and they even had a great non alcoholic beer!The service was friendly and helpful, from our hostess to our wonderfully patient waitress and any passing staff we interacted with. The bathroom was clean, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. 10/10 will be going back and sending my friends.”

“Liked the vibe at this place….its at the end of the street and you get a view of mountains, people with happy faces and smiles around. We got 2 flights and got to taste a lot of beers. My favourite ones are magic meadow, enchantments , alpenhaze and dark lager.”

“Delicious food and drinks! The polpettes were great: three large meatballs filled with cheese and smothered in an amazing blackberry habanero sauce. Not spicy at all, perfectly balanced. The arugula salad was well-dressed and all the flavors went well together. A perfect fresh bite with our meal. The sherpa pizza was also fantastic. I would absolutely get it again. The service was pretty good - everyone was attentative and answered our many questions, making great suggestions of food and drinks. The only downside is we didn't get a refill of our waters and eventually had to wave someone down. Other than that it was a great experience! Would definitely come back!”

“A hidden gem!  I've been to Old World Chophouse several times in the past year and absolutely love the food craftsmanship.  The chef is extremely talented with cooking steak and the seasonal side dishes are alway a delight.  The staff is wonderful with their care and positivity. The ambiance is very rustic and cozy.  It's the perfect relaxing restaurant to get an incredible meal after a long day of hiking the mountains.”

There's a cider for everyone and don't forget to admire the beautiful wooden staircase. It's kid friendly also so our boys have fun as well. “Do yourself a favor and check this place out! I came in about an hour before they closed on a Sunday, so it wasn't too busy. Ambiance is really mellow (perhaps more lively with more folks in it), and there were fire pits, board games, and a great playlist on. I know almost nothing about beer and the bartender, Eric, was so patient with me and talked me through the different options they had until I found one I liked. He was also continuously working to keep the place tidy which was nice to see. Overall a great experience!”

The cheeseburger and Fish sandwich very very tasty. One thing I would like to mention is the structural integrity of the sandwich. The server was polite, helpful and quick with making our drinks. We only ordered coffees and a smoothie, but can say all were amazing. “We had our bachelorette party for my sister! This was the highlight of our trip. Thanks to anna for making this class so much fun! It was never a dull moment. We enjoyed learning about making drinks and also enjoyed all the drinks we made! The charcuterie was also delicious. The only thing is We were having fun and we were dancing and owner came out to tell us to keep it quiet. She needs to realize she runs a bar and people can get loud. We were loud but not to the point we were disturbing everyone else. Plus it was a private events! But overall we still had so much fun. Thanks anna for having our backs!”

“Since the gingerbread factory storefront is temporarily closed, we were able to order online and pick up the next day at their kitchen down the road across from Safeway. It takes a bit of forethought, but it is worth it if you are in town for more than a day.”
